US tanks arrived in Latvia on Wednesday ahead of NATO's moves to expand defense troops on eastern Europe's border with Russia.

Fifteen M1 Abrams tanks, six Bradley fighting vehicles and other military equipment has arrived in Garkalne, along with the US Army's 3rd Brigade 225 soldiers on Wednesday.

The soldiers will replace those from 173rd Brigade and will serve in Latvia as part of the Atlantic Resolve operation.

Aircrafts have been and will always be an important part of global transportation network.

As aircrafts are disassembled, recycled, reduced to shreded metals, newer and environmentally preferred aircrafts are built to replace them.

After the materials have been seperated, they are transported to be recycled.

The materials are then pushed into the furnace to be melted down for new uses.

When the airplane has been scrapped, the materials are sent to recycling facility where the materials are weighed, and inspected.

The recycling facility also documents the grade and purity of the materials at all time throughout the process.

These airplanes are surveyed for metals such as titanium, magnesium, and stainless steel.

These materials are seperated from the aluminium that is the recycle metal on the aircraft.

Depending on the size and function of the plane, it can take as little as a week and as much as 6weeks to process and prepare a the plane for recycling.

Dissecting an aircraft is extremely hazardous and must be carefully performed to maintain safety for the crew and the environment.

Once the fuselage is clean and the items are removed for reuse or recycling, the crew prepares to scrap the plane.

Inside the passenger cabin, seats, side walls, luggage bins, ceiling panels, lockers, carpets and anything that is not metalic are removed.

These items are considered non-recyclable in the past, but the industry is working on better ways to to recycle these items.

Many of the engines are parted out in scraps for the titanium and other valuable metals.

There are many valuable components on a retired aircraft, the first components of the plane to be removed are the engines.

These are enormous and can weigh up to 6tons.

Sometimes the engine can be reused and therefore making it one of the most valuable reuseable components on of a plane.

Parts removed from the airplanes are carefully transported to quarantine area where the components are cleaned, inspected, tagged, and stored.

Retirement.



Airplanes have many uses after they retire from the commercial services.

Some are used in the private sector, refurbished, and continue flying.

Some are used as training aircrafts for aviation, military, and law enforcement agencies..

Some are used for museum pieces or movie production.

However, the majority of retired aircrafts ends up in boneyard or airplane graveyard where they find another purpose entirely.

Most of these planes are sold to aviation part companies for dismantling or recycling.

explorers, one thing you need to start doing is to be giving credits to ur sources of information; u make it seem like you're the author of these write-ups when actually u copied it from some encyclopedia.
however, I think u can do better by digging up past events in our country and start writing about them. These are the types of works u are entitled to take credits for and not someone else's.

This topic is very good l am highly interested.we can form something out here by contributing ideas. I have some ideas on how we can get some problem solve in our nation and the whole world at large.

I will come up with just few of some problems we can solve that can earn us good money.

1. What is the alternative to fuel, how can we replace fuel, kerosine etc or bow can we reduce their consumption in either car or any engine using them.

2. How can we solve problem of food shortage or how can we enhance food production e.g if we can get palm seed that can give fruit within a year or a year plus, the same in cocoa, cashew, rice, tomatoes etc, the hybrid seed or fertilizer tat will make them produce within short period of time compare to conventional one. Look at palm oil price in the market today you will laugh, the cause is just that we are not producing up to the expected demand just because there is ban on importation because before we are importing palm oil from Malaysia and some other countries to complement the one we have here before.

3. Wireless energy transmission, this will abolish cable or wire we have here. If we have this it will help individuals to purchase power from any other serious countries that they have power stability to do there business. If this in place you will see the cabas on power will drop drastically because only few will be patronising them. Wireless energy will just be like you subscribe Dstv which is from south Africa.

If we can solve these problem there is money for us.
