I have been seeing some deluded Athiest on here bashing religion and saying things like all religions (especially Christianity) are waiting for scientists to find a cure then they will thank God instead of the scientists.

First of all, many of those scientists are Christian's.

Secondly, most of the drugs you enjoy today were discovered by Christians e.g. Penicillin.

Thirdly, Hospitals were first founded by Christians.

Fourthly, United States were most of these cures come from was founded by strong Christian fathers who gave the country a good foundation.

Lastly, Athiests enjoy the benefits of Christian prayers today (although they don't know it). Because of this, most of them are still alive. But with that same breath, they choose to curse God.

So the question is, what has Athiesm contributed to the world?

That is true my brother, one of my pals who succeeded in SSC course 44 was withdrawn from camp three months into training cos they redid the medical checkup and he had high blood pressure, now we met again in DSSC course 25, he was runsing SSC and DSSC with double registration, he was successfully shortlisted both in SSC and DSSC, but was later again withdrawn from camp in jaji cos someone ratted him out that he did double registration. Some things are inexplicable cos that guy did it cos he was passionate and desperate to join the army, this time around we are getting ready with everything and blocking any loophole that will jeopardize our chances and you too should be cos victory is from God alone.
Imagine my connection actually sent my details to the board president but still I wasn't successful.
Many things are going underground after the interview and one needs their connection to keep working even after the interview cos I feel the board president and secretary might not have much power after the interview.

If you really want to know how she felt, face some kind of life dream fizzle away from you. She must have dreamt of being a university student at every seconds of her life, she must have day deemed whenever she saw someone in the course she wanted to study. I felt how she felt, it is like an excruciating pain coupled with very short breathes, as if life is being snuffed off you or falling into an endless pit. Her heart may have not being strong to withstand that much pressure, I don't blame her cos I've witnessed it before.
All my dreams have being to join the army, there is no day I don't dream of passing out as a commissioned officer, that the last recruitment, I resigned from my work cos I was very sure I will get, I did everything right, did my runs and pushed myself beyond my limits, read all readable, went for the shortlisting, passed the almighty medicals and faced the board, I was asked about the transformer which even an illiterate can explain, I did perfectly well in it cos I was running my masters in electrical power and machines so very conversant with all the questions but the final list came out, I didn't see my name, I didn't know what happened and I felt like dieing, up till now am still wondering how I survived that episode, it was confusing and frustrating but I pulled through and ready to apply again.

Lagosians had telephone presence in 1886, Itu and Calabar got connected to Telephone in 1923, while between 1946 and 1952, a three-channel line carrier system was commissioned between Lagos and Ibadan and was later extended to Osogbo, Kaduna, Kano, Benin, and Enugu.

Communication technology is a major signifier of civilizations and if Lagosians were already making telephone calls more than 70 years before Igbo citizens, where then did you get the warped idea that you came to develop Lagos?

By 1856 Cable and Wireless Company of the UK had commissioned a submarine cable link between Lagos and London and in 1851 a post office was established in Lagos; all these before the emergence of Nigeria as an amalgamated country. If I may ask again, where did the stupid idea that Igbo developed Lagos come from? Or that Lagos was developed with Nigeria's money when Lagos was not even part of Nigeria until 1914.

I always feel embarrassed anytime I read and hear even so-called educated people from the East making these stupid assertions.

The first Yoruba lawyer Christopher Alexander Sapara Williams was called to the English Bar in 1879 whilst the first Igbo lawyer, Sir Louis Mbanefo, was called to the English bar in 1937.

How can you now claim superiority over the Yoruba race and even carelessly affirm that your forebears should be thanked for bringing enlightenment to Yoruba Land?

Up to now there is no public testing stands like in airports or hospitals for this virus and I read they cut the CDC budget by 80%, so they ain't doing anything for the cure to start with. They all just shutting down the whole system and telling sick people to quarantine themselves, like the government doesn't care there.
