I know, my question was about the drive test instructor. blank: It's same for every city in Ontario. You can go straight from G1 to G. |

DrFareedah: Hello everyone, I've been following this thread for the past five years. But i was forced to create an account just now. My husband and I landed in Halifax three months ago. With a set a twin girls. Making us a family of four.
I had a good job in nigeria, was working as a gynae with a big hospital on the island. However, i was forced to work on relocation because of very toxic inlaws. I can't explain it in words. I've got a deep story to tell. Just one of which is, after giving birth to the girls, my mother in law left the annoyance that I am maltreating her 8 days post partum. She said I didn't cook for her and all that. Bare in mind I had a caeserian session to birth the girls, I was recovering and I couldn't do much. She gossiped and said all sorts with her four girls but i was not bothered, I just decided to run far by coming to canada.
My issue now is they all insist on coming to canada to live with their brother. He's the only son and as such i think he owes them so much, I dont understand yoruba tradition deeply. But I'm here asking everyone to help because once they step into this country, our marraige is over. They tried to ruin it in lagos, but i was very patient. his siblings said they hate my children. Hubby's mom said sometimes she just feels like slapping my children and they turn deaf (they are just 3), Pls what do I do next. I'm exhausted. I hate drama. Cant families just let young couple be. Why do they want to be in our business so much? My hubby isn't seeing it as an issue yet, offcourse he hasn't done the leave/cleave thing. I have some recordings of their threats towarda me. I just dont want anything to happen to my kids. I dont want them here at all. Please people should chip in their one cent. Good new is that they are not here yet and that before they come your husband would have had some cultural reorientation that will help create the needed balance. Also, if they get to come over, they may not be in same province or city as you and its good to know that nobody can maltreat you here, there is law and order so rest your mind and not be overly anxious. Finally, I advise that you start praying or keep praying (as the case may be) for your husband and take this time to build a stronger bond with him and the children so that he will not want to loose to interference from anyone. Wishing you all the very best! |

youngbilli: I don’t know much about BC only for Ontario. I got lot of misinformation that I can’t go straight to G from G1 even with my driving experience. At the end of the day I took my extract to the drive test centre told the officer I have an extract from Nigeria. I registered and took the G1 test. After passing I was told i can take the G road test no need for G2. Today I took the G road test and passed. So it’s very possible to get the Full G if you have an extract from your home country. Like I said knowledge test for BC I don’t know much, you have to research or check out https://www.drivingtestcanada.ca. For G road test have a good and experienced instructor. I was lucky one of the officers in the drivetest center was Nigerian, he gave me the contact of an instructor which most Nigerians use and pass. Pls where in Ontario? |

shadama: Hi there. Is it possible maybe that they are sending to a different email address? I remember reading that they use the contact details listed on the world directory of medical schools website. Here is that of unilorin:
https://search.wdoms.org/home/SchoolDetail/F0001283
Maybe you could check to make sure that that's the same one they're using? Hope this helps and maybe someone that went to the same uni can chip in. Many Thanks @shadama |

Travelpes: Good morning All,
Got a good score in IELTS after six earlier attempts. Given the facts below, will my score reduce if I do not enter pool now?
IELTS: S8, R9, L9, W7 Current Score on CRS tool checker - 472 Primary Applicant - Age 33 (will be 34year by July, 2021) Secondary Applicant – Age 35 (will be 36years old by December 3, 2020) - will this reduce the score if I submit after her birthday?
I will appreciate views on this. Thank you. Only the age of PA counts. |

Mamaroon: Consistency is key, you could look for fellow TEF writers and practise with them or people who have written previously too. These options would be free...no payment. There is also italki which a few people have mentioned here, have you tried them? When are you planning to write? If it's within the next 2 months, I'm available for TEF EO practice runs.
Disclaimer: I am NOT a tutor and my French is NOT error free.....also structure is my forte not grammar. Dear @Mamaroon, planning to write TEF in December, pls I am interested in the practice and sending you a mail right away. Thanks |

@Mamaroon pls what do you advise? PA has more than 10yrs work experience in the same NOC and listed all while filling work experience. Do we remove the past 7yrs as they are from different places or wait till post ITA when they can be listed under history? There is more than 3yrs experience at present place of work and can get reference letter from there. Thanks Mamaroon: No docs required for personal history as far as I know |

Debbieeeeeee: Hopefully it will reduce , it has been reducing so let’s hope it keeps reducing. If you can learn French And take the exams that’ll be an advantage too.
I’ll say get in the pool once your eca & IELTS on both sides are in , so at least if points go lower than 470 you’re selected. Pls do you have an idea or know a link where I can get breakdown of TEF scores so as o know what grade will give like 30more points to a 458 CRS? Thanks! |
