Hello Oga/Madam,

What exactly is the issue you are having? It is not clear to me. One year Post graduate certificate is okay as long as you have evaluated your first degree too, if not you will need to pay about 100CAD extra to WES and have them evaluate it as well. Then you will be able to claim points for "two or more certificates"

hello @happytbaby

I was trying to reply this initial post.

He had evaluated his PgD alone, he needs both PgD and BSc to claim two certificates. This is the issue when we give advice of 'evaluate your highest degree'. This advice only works when the highest degree is at least a Masters

Wes evaluated my post graduate diploma as only one year post graduate diploma was that the same as urs?

Thanks

RE: HST Refund

Has any one noticed this on the wes site.

How do I request an HST rebate?

If you were charged harmonized sales tax (HST) in error, you can request a rebate from the Canadian government. You can find more information here. Because the monies from HST are collected by the Canadian government, WES cannot provide any HST related refunds or rebates.

Looks like the new style i had tried to refund this when wes was completed in march and got the response that they cant refund because i used a canadian address ill work on exploring this new option

You can use your church certificate to apply, there is no issue with that.

Truthfully im the one hoping hell pass the next ielts he wont want us to wait either cos of time and who knows what changes the law could bring or spend 2 years waiting for pnp when i can ace spouse sponsorship in lesser time.

Thank you all for your feedbacks i appreciate.

Another thing i read is to add spouse after AOR we got married in 2015 we have just one child, but we had to do registry and haven't gotten round to doing it all these years as our church certificate wasnt accepted by ikoyi regsitry. Can this be explored?

Tojued:
It's a bit subjective due to sentimental considerations. Some folks would rather spend 2 years hustling PNP with spouse (or stay together in Nigeria with them) than relocate alone.

Thank you.. congrats all PPR clinchers

GlitteringStar:
Congrats! I will advise that your spouse should retake his IELTS test. The sponsorship route (unaccompanying spouse option) should be the last resort. You can read the following posts.

Yeah thats the plan hes registering for 11 aug mod if he cant do better weve agreed for him to stay off for now while i go with our daughter. thank you

Elfmannisback:
If the husband can't get a lot from his next IELTS test, she should apply unaccompanying. That is the truth.

O whoa we have same results with idp i just posted mine congrats to you

ArabianRose:
Its Testimony time!

So i remarked my BC results, circled W and S, results came in around first week in June, too 10 weeks exactly, S got increased but not W, i felt so bad but at least i got my 15k back. I became confused and felt i was running in circles, i didn't want to write again, the emotional and psychological effect was hitting me big time, spoke to Newmum(you already know how i feel about you), she asked me to write again, she was even willing to proof read my writing (sweet soul), no one was optimistic about remarking IDP, given their track record, even though i maxed out the other modules (talk about CLB10 grin).
However, I made up my mind i wasn't going to write this exam again, and this was my response to everyone that asked. Secretly, i applied for MOD IDP remark! I couldn't tell a soul (not even @Stillz that was checking on me everyday), was just hoping on God, i really felt i deserved more than i got in W. I followed up with IDP Australia, the remark was done in 2 weeks and on 2/7/18 i got my result, and guess what? UPGRADE!!!!!! W went from 6.5 to 7, new score is 8.5, 8, 7, 8.5 for LRWS respectively, isn't God good?? after 3 tests and 2 remarks!

Help me thank God, its as if i just crossed the red sea! shocked

Good day every one

I am a silent follower of this thread and i have been reading and digesting since Jan 2018. It wont be fair if i don't give feedback on what ive gained from this forum. I sat for my first ielts with british council in Jan 2018 and my results were LRSW 7.5 8 7 and 6.5 (this was eventually remarked and i got a 7 in writting after 12 weeks of waiting) at this point i had already registered for march ielts with BC as well this came out slightly worse than the initial one even thou i aced listening i didnt do well in reading and writing this time LRSW was 8 6.5 7 6.5 (paid for remark its not yet out) My oga did this one as well and he didnt do too great at all LRSW 5.5 4.5 6.5 6. (this only gives me 8points unfortunately we don't have a degree to evaluate so he has to sit again and ace it he hasnt registered yet)
3rd ielts i registered with mod for 2nd june exam and i hoped i wont have to do this again. on the 15th of june results finally came out and i got LRSW 8.5 7.5 8.5 6.5 i was so dejected by i read some remarked writing in idp and got hes writing was upgraded so i went there paid and hoped for the best.

My people today is day the 8th working day. I emailed idp australia just yesterday but i didnt get a response. i Logged in to just check and see that my results has been upgraded in writing to 7. I am so overjoyed.

All documents have been ready since feb ECA and all. (2degrees and more) so as of now i have entered the pool at 429 which is low just hoping for the best and when oga re writes i can update the scores.

Hes suggesting we go ahead without him which would put my scores at 448 or thereabout as if he passes we can only get around 442 which i think is still good enough. Has any one successfully filed for a spouse with PR and it didn't take more than a year? as hes currently even busy in naijja to relocate. sorry for the long post i wanted to be as detailed as i can.
