Some individuals, celebrities especially, may refuse to pay this tax for various reasons.

Religion / "Why Muslims Don't Eat Dog Meat: Understanding Islamic Dietary Laws And Cultural by Extrastiv01(m): 9:00am On Mar 25, 2023
"Have you ever wondered why Muslims don't eat dog meat? Learn about the fascinating reasons behind this longstanding tradition in Islamic culture, and gain insight into the religious and cultural factors that shape Muslim dietary practices."

Muslims don't eat dogs because dogs are considered impure in Islam. Islam has a specific set of dietary laws, known as halal, which outlines what Muslims can and cannot eat. Dogs are considered unclean animals and are not permissible to eat.

In addition to their impurity, dogs also have a special status in Islam as loyal and valuable companions to humans. There are many stories in Islamic tradition about the Prophet Muhammad and his love for dogs, and how he taught Muslims to treat them with kindness and respect. For this reason, dogs are often kept as pets in Muslim households and are treated with care and affection.

It's important to note that not all Muslims strictly adhere to the dietary laws of Islam, and there may be cultural variations in attitudes towards dogs as pets. However, as a general rule, dogs are not eaten by Muslims because of their impurity and their special status as companions to humans

Business / Breaking The Sabbath: The Pros And Cons Of Doing Business On Sundays" by Extrastiv01(m): 4:20pm On Mar 12, 2023
Sunday Business Pros and Cons

Doing business on Sundays

In many cultures, Sunday is considered a day of rest, and for many people, it is a day to spend with family, participate in religious or leisure activities, and recharge before the start of a new week. However, for some entrepreneurs, the temptation to work on Sundays may be too great to resist. In this article, we will explore the pros and cons of doing business on Sundays and consider whether it is a wise choice.

Pros:

🔃Increased Revenue:
Opening your business on Sundays can potentially increase your revenue, as it is a day when many people have more free time to shop or take advantage of your services. This can be especially beneficial for businesses that operate in the retail or hospitality industries, as Sunday is often a day when people go out for brunch, shopping, or entertainment.

🔃Competitive Advantage:
By opening on Sundays, you may be able to gain a competitive advantage over businesses that do not operate on Sundays. Customers may prefer to patronize a business that is open on weekends and holidays, as it is more convenient for them.

🔃Flexibility:
For entrepreneurs who have busy schedules during the week, Sunday may be the only day when they have time to work on their business. By opening on Sundays, they can have more flexibility in managing their time and keeping their business running smoothly.

Cons:

🔃Employee Burnout:
Opening on Sundays may lead to burnout among your employees, as it is a day when many people prefer to spend time with their families or engage in leisure activities. If your employees are required to work on Sundays, they may feel resentful or overworked, which can lead to a decrease in morale and productivity.

🔃Limited Customer Base:
Depending on your location and the type of business you operate, opening on Sundays may not be profitable, as there may be limited demand from customers. For example, if you operate a business in a residential area, your customers may be more likely to stay home on Sundays and not venture out to your business.

🔃Ethical Considerations:
Depending on your religious or cultural beliefs, opening on Sundays may be viewed as unethical or disrespectful. If your business is located in an area with a large population that observes Sunday as a day of rest, you may receive negative feedback or criticism for operating on this day.

In conclusion, the decision to do business on Sundays should be made after careful consideration of the pros and cons. While it may increase revenue and provide flexibility for entrepreneurs, it can also lead to employee burnout and ethical considerations. Business owners should also be aware of their local laws and regulations regarding Sunday trading, as some areas may have restrictions on operating on this day. Ultimately, the decision to operate on Sundays should be based on what is best for the business and its employees, while also respecting the beliefs and preferences of the community.

Sports / I Was Close To Joining Manchester City -cristiano Ronaldo by Extrastiv01(m): 7:58am On Nov 17, 2022
Cristiano Ronaldo says he was close to joining Manchester City before following his "heart" by re-joining Manchester United.

The Portugal forward made headlines earlier this week after telling Talk TV he felt "betrayed" by the club.

The first part of the full interview was released on Wednesday in which he gave more detail on his version of events at Old Trafford.

"Honestly, it was close," he said of potentially joining City.

Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford from Juventus in August 2021 - 11 years after he left the club to join Real Madrid.

At the time it was reported he was wanted by City boss Pep Guardiola and, although Ronaldo confirmed the interest, he said he decided to sign for United after speaking with his old manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The 37-year-old added: "As you know, my history in Manchester United, your heart, you're feeling the way that you did before, makes the difference. And of course, Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I spoke with him. He said to me, 'it's impossible for you to come to Manchester City'. And I say 'OK, boss'."

'Young players don't care'
Ronaldo, who will miss Portugal's friendly with Nigeria on Thursday because of a stomach bug, criticised the attitude and professionalism of young footballers during the interview, accusing them of "not respecting" their older and more experienced team-mates.

"Their hunger [is different]," he added. "I think they have things more easily, everything's easy, they don't suffer - and they don't care.

"I don't mean only a few in Manchester United, but all the teams in all leagues in the world, the youngers are not the same of my generation.

"But you cannot blame them, because it's part of the life and the new generation, the new technologies that distract them."

Cristiano Ronaldo and Diogo Dalot
Diogo Dalot, right, was singled out by Cristiano Ronaldo as a player he admires
Ronaldo singled out his United and Portugal team-mate Diogo Dalot, 23, as one of the few young players he could praise.

Ronaldo also said Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro are other players he admires at the club.

'In Manchester United I can mention Dalot," he said. "He's young, but very professional but I don't doubt that he's going to have longevity in football because he's young, he's smart, intelligent and he's very professional. Probably Martinez, Casemiro is in his 30s, but I will say Dalot.'

'I'd never heard of Rangnick'
Just over two months after Ronaldo returned to United, his former team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as manager and replaced by Ralf Rangnick, who was named interim coach until the end of the season.

The German had been coach of RB Leipzig, Schalke and several others clubs in his native country and credited with influencing managers like Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel with his football philosophy.

But Ronaldo said he was surprised by the appointment.

"This guy is not even a coach," he added. "A big club like Manchester United bringing a sport directive surprised not only me but all the world."

Asked if he had heard of Rangnick, Ronaldo added: "No, of course not. Nobody, the people who I spoke to knew.

"I respect [him], all the coaches in my career I had to call them the boss, but deep inside me I never saw him as the boss because I saw some points that I never agreed."

'Criticism from ex-players probably jealously'
Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney
Cristiano Ronaldo was team-mates with Wayne Rooney in his first spell at Manchester United
Ronaldo also criticised Manchester United legends Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville after both had recently questioned his behaviour.

Rooney said last week Ronaldo risked becoming an unwanted distraction at the club following his refusal to come on as substitute in the home defeat by Tottenham last month.

And the Portuguese said of Rooney: "I don't know why he criticises me so bad, I don't know if he's jealous of me.

"I really don't understand people like that or if they want to be on the front cover of the news or they want a new job or whatever.

"Probably [it's jealousy] because he finished his career with 30s. I'm still playing a high level."

On Neville, he added: "They are not my friends, they are colleagues. We are not having dinner together for example.

"But it's part of my journey. They keep criticising me every time, so I continue my trip and I have to catch up with the people who like me."

Ineffective use of G-mail and other mailing medium like Yahoo, Outlook has caused a lot of misfortune for a lot of people and they don't even address it or maybe they don't even notice.

Most people have e-mail apps on their phone just for decoration. Occasional use of Gmail is bad, because there are a lot of disadvantages of not frequenting your mail;
•You tend to lose your potential customers
•Losing prospective jobs
Most organisations and companies we have nowadays are fond of using the emails to send messages to their workers, staff and also to their prospective staff.
A friend of mine missed two interview because he didn't check his mail

Culture / Why The Dutch Don't Say "Sorry" by Extrastiv01(m): 12:17am On Sep 26, 2022
The catch is, of course, that when the English say “sorry”, they never really mean it. There’s always a big gulf between what they say and what they mean (this is what makes English comedy so good).

If you bump into someone and they say “sorry”, they’re not actually apologising. It’s more like an interjection, an ‘oh!’ than a genuine expression of sorrow.

Sports / Reece James Is Better Than Trent Alexander Arnold by Extrastiv01(m): 1:26am On Sep 16, 2022
Messi versus Ronaldo is one of the argument that will never end till they kingdom comes but recently there has been a lot of disagreement between football fans about who Is the better right back(RB) between Reece James and TAA.

Reece James is a Chelsea player playing as a RB,RWB, RCB in a 4-3-3,3-4-3, and 3-5-2 formation respectively. He his one of the strongholds in Chelsea football club and also a key figure in England National team. He is a very versatile player that can also play as a midfielder and sometimes attack when short of attackers.

TAA plays for Liverpool FC. He is one of the best RB in the league and he is known for his attacking prowess when the team attack is not showing positives. He also plays for England. His crosses are out of the world. What a great player.

Knowing all this I still have a strong believe Reece James is a better RB than TAA because he is a more balanced player i.e his attacking and defending attributes are equivalent unlike his counterpart whose defending qualities are to be questioned.

England head coach, Southgate prefers to start Reece James over TAA because he(Reece James) fits more into his squad.

If you are still doubting, check the stats for the current season and see for yourself.

In Conclusion,TAA is still a world class depending on who is coaching..thanks and say no to violence ✍️

Guys please let's stop having romantic relationship with girls under the legalised age which is 18 infact it will be ok if you don't date a teenager at all

Most young girls nowadays have a speedy growth rate so do not be deceived by their big breast and behind .

According to the constitution, any sexual act with a minor (less than 18 years) could be regarded as rape with or without consent which is punishable by law.

Some of these girls might lie to you about their age..but you just have to do your research well so as not to fall into issues that can't be resolved

Career / Sex Is Now A Prerequisite For Employment by Extrastiv01(m): 10:35am On Jul 07, 2022
In present day Nigeria, sex have become a prerequisite to get employed. Why?

Nowadays if you don't offer your bodies to the manager of a top company or the CEO of an establishment you won't be considered for a job.

The female folks in this part of the world are mostly the victims of sexual assault and other sexual crimes. They are always at the receiving end though there are cases where reverse is the case

There is a common "belief" amongst our people here about using what you have to get what you want. This theory is wrong in this context because I believe we used our brain to get our various degrees from school, who says we can't use it to get a job rather than using our bodies.

Unfortunately, there are lots of sex-maniac out there disguising as a Manager or CEO looking for young and naive prospective employees so as to take advantage of them and explore all their sexual fantasies

The government have a major role to play when it comes to weeding out all these evil acts out of our system

Sports / Victor Osimhen Scored 4 Goals In Nigeria Record 10-0 Win by Extrastiv01(m): 5:46pm On Jun 13, 2022
Victor Osimhen scored four goals as Nigeria thrashed minnows Sao Tome e Principe 10-0 in qualifying for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles missed out on a place at the 2022 World Cup in Africa's play-offs in March but have made a perfect start in Group A as they seek a spot at next year's Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.

The victory away from home is the biggest win the west Africans have recorded, surpassing a 10-1 triumph over Benin in 1959.

Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis and Ademola Lookman, who spent last season on loan at Leicester City, were also on the score sheet for Jose Peseiro's Nigeria.

Napoli striker Osimhen, 23, now has 15 goals in 22 international caps.

Sao Tome e Principe are ranked 183 in the world by Fifa and had to come through a preliminary qualifying tie against Mauritius to reach the group stage.

The islanders were then thrown out of qualifying for fielding an ineligible player - but Sao Tome were subsequently reinstated just nine days before Group A got under way following a successful appeal.

Nigeria join holders Senegal, Algeria, Burkina Faso and Mali with two wins from their first two qualifiers, with the next two rounds of matches scheduled for September.

Powerful Super Eagles cruise to three points
Nigeria began their campaign by coming from behind to beat Sierra Leone 2-1 on Thursday, and Osimhen and Moses Simon did the damage in the first half in Agadir.

Osimhen was set up by Simon for the opener in the ninth minute and returned the favour before the Napoli forward laid on the third for Terem Moffi two minutes before the break.

Nigeria carried on where they left off in the second half as Osimhen grabbed his second three minutes after the restart and Stoke midfielder Peter Etebo netted a powerful free-kick in the 55th minute.

Moffi bagged his second on the hour mark and Lookman quickly made it 7-0.

Oshimen completed his hat-trick in the 65th minute then netted his fourth with six minutes remaining and Dennis rounded off the scoring with an injury-time penalty.

All three designated home sides on Monday are being forced to play outside of their countries because they do not have stadia fit to host international football.

Sierra Leone face Guinea-Bissau in Group A's other game (16:00 GMT) and Liberia take on Morocco in Group K at 19:00 GMT.

Liberia are set to stage their home qualifying games in Morocco - despite being in the same group as the North Africans and an unsuccessful protest from fellow Group K opponents South Africa.
