June Ambrose, celebrity stylist. Most times, she styles others better than she does herself. ![]()

This works too though a lil casual. Orange + Burgundy.

Orange + Burgundy. I'd say ditch the scarf unless you're a flight attendant. ![]()

Classy.

Nice for a plus-sized lady. If you're on the big side, a belt divides your body so you don't look like a bag of rice. ![]()

DVF makes cute dresses especially if you don't want a lot of skin showing.

Office fashion, job interview or Church. Uzoo has a nice thread for everyday fashion. I'll upload photos as I draw inspiration from pictures on the internet. I work at a "seriously conservative environment" ~ ~ (I mean boring ....black blazers...pinstripe pants). Whew! I need some spice in my 9 -to- 5 fashion with feminine tailored, elegant and sophisticated "still conservative" look (nice prints, pearls and pastels).Style :- Modern business-casual. Let the pictures inspire us. Its pictures only. If I could raid anyone's closet, whose will it be? 1. Olivia Palermo: Always on point!

Nairaland. ... Don't waste time on useless arguments. |
lacicrips: Where specifically can I get that in Lagos? I read it's a very good treatment for facial sweating.Any Pharmacy / Chemist should have it. Note: If you're going to use any essential oil like Tea Tree, make sure its 100% pure. |
For fuller, thicker and stronger eyebrows and eyelashes, Mix equal amounts of Argan Oil + Castor oil in a small cup (about .5oz) and apply every other night with a q-tip or eyelash comb. I try to curl the lashes first, comb through with an eyebrow comb and massage the roots. (you can add coconut oil, but it irritates my eyes so I don't use it). Trust me, it works! I get compliments ...... I dislike false lashes ... looks like a cobweb .... ewww ![]() |
I'm a huge fan of at-home remedies and anything natural or organic. I love trying new over-the-shelf products, but most times, start with stuff in the kitchen. Fruits, honey, toothpaste, etc do the trick. I sometimes ditch make-up so a great looking skin is a priority. *wink* I'll go first. ![]() For those with large pores, instead of spending money on pore-strips (biore), try the egg-white method. I break one egg open, separate the white from the yolk and apply the egg whites lightly over my face, nose, chin and forehead. Place thin tissue paper over your face. Let it dry for about 15 minutes and peel it off. It is supposed to remove all blackheads. You will see white messy stuff all over the tissue.... ewwww. Your face will look better immediately. To reduce large pores, rub ice cubes on your face. Place the ice cubes gently along your pores for 15 to 30 seconds. This will have a tightening effect on your skin. It's great before applying make-up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk4xdYt3ick ... more to come. |
J.Hud's new look is amazing. When I remember how fat she looked, I'm like ... I need to get my shape in shape! Arrggghhh. |
romania: Bn following and its bn interesting. Well done, ladies.Protein treatment - PT is a hair aid to repair breakage, add strength and give life to dull/damaged hair. When you stretch for long periods, your ends may become weak, break or shed so you def. need protein treatments. It makes your hair strong and easier to adapt to the challenges of stretching. Your hair may feel dry and hard, so you need to follow each PT with a DC. Bi-weekly or once a month is okay. Deep conditioning - DC must be followed right after a PT. DC is not for daily use. Regular conditioners can be used as often as you like. Co-wash - Wash your hair with a conditioner, not shampoo. I shampoo once a month. Wash my hair once a week. |
