It will be a miracle if buhari achieves the following by 2019. 1,Make a dollar equal to N202 2,Restore power supply to 5,000MW 3,Fuel back to N86.50 4,Rice back to N8,000/bag 5,Inflation down to single digit 6,Make our economy the 3rd fastest developing in the world(currently less than 15th in africa) 7,Restore about 3million jobs lost in the last 1year In other words,it will be a miracle for buhari to get things back to how Gej handed it over to him Nigerians are no longer asking that Buhari makes a dollar equal to a naira as he promised, Nigerians are no longer asking that he stabilizes the price of the crude oil in the international market (I still laugh) Nigerians are no longer asking that he bring fuel to N40/litre. Nigerians are no longer asking for free meal daily for school children. Nigerians are no longer asking that he pays N5000 monthly allowance to unemployed graduates(newsflash:they've increased by 3million) Nigerians now know that he couldn't wipe out bokoharam in 3months. Nigerians now know that he couldn't find the chibok girls in 6weeks(after wining, he looked their parents in the face and told them that he doesn't know where their kids are). Nigerians are now asking that he returned everything to how they were handed to him before the next election and quietly get away from there by 2019 |
They are free to defect to any party of their choice, but by law, they must forefeit their posts which they hold under their former party's ticket. The era of political impunity must end. The PDP should be made to conduct another election to fill the vacant seat. Anything other than this is a violation of the constitution especially as what would have been a factionalization of the PDP has been forestalled. P/s,Tony Nwoye was long a student when I came into the university,he was still a student when I graduated. Those who came long after us still met him. Nobody could remember what course he actually got admitted into. Never graduated till he dropped out for politics. He doesn't have much electoral value. |
Subway1011:...That would be after the curse of the whole nigerians had been laid on you to carry on behalf of the present administration. |
The rice in that apc plate is over-rated. The cost of a bag of rice has doubled since apc took over, which means that the rice in it ought to be slashed to half plate for the same price. |
This is a very commendable act by the state PDP. I didn't know that a party can actually believe that their chief candidate is wrong. And that's very bold. Can APC do this? Can they ever acknowledge that buhari is wrong in anyway. Has Tambuwal(apc sokoto state governor) not just announced that Buhari has fulfilled all his campaign promises with his one year in office. |
If this man was my father,I will make sure my kids don't go near him cos I wouldn't want my kids to be influenced into such a life of lies. |
Over the years,I have worked in the public(including political) and private sector. I have been opportuned to meet, work and interact with people in various cadre and positions. I have indeed met with various kinds of people and seen various types of reasoning. But in recent times,I have had to depend more on Nairaland to keep abreast with news and events happening in the mass and social media space. And I must confess that I have observed some 'heavily flawed but somewhat funny' reasoning. I will try and put down a few as humorously as I can. Feel free to add yours too. 1. Nairaland has shown me that there are people who;no matter the news posted, they will never comment on it,instead their job is to look for someone else who made a comment to quote and attack. You will never see such people contribute to the topic. No. They couldn't care less about the issue raised in the news, they can't even remember the information contained therein. All they seek is to find someone who has contributed to attack. 2. Nairaland has taught me that if you see a post and its in its 3rd or 4th page, don't bother, the thread has long been derailed from the subject heading by people who are locked in 'quoting and counter-quoting' argument. 3. Nairaland has shown that there is an association within it known as Name Checkers Association who has taken up the responsibility of verifying and 'sorting' every crime news reported on NL according to tribe. Going by their indices,if you come across a thread with crime stories filled with words like 'drugs, dupes white woman, concealed in suitcase etc',it will most likely be my igbo brothers. If the crime story is laced with words like 'ritualist, herbalist, cult, money ritual, evil forest',it has got to be my yoruba brothers. But if you come across crimes like 'suicide bomber, herdsmen,IDP,misappropriate funds, top government official embezzled, siphon etc',then its my brothers from the north. 4. Nairaland has taught me that there are actually people who form their opinions from the subject heading of the news. And its straight from the subject heading that they will launch their attack or response,it doesn't matter if the content of the news is clearly contrary to the 'misleading heading'. The subject heading is all they need. They don't have time to read the actual content, they are in a hurry to write. 5. Nairaland has taught me that there are people who can draw any topic into tribal bigotry. It doesn't matter what the topic is,trust them to always find a means of introducing a bigoted angle to it. And I mean,no matter what the topic is. I once saw a post on a Premiership match,I rushed into the thread to see that it has long been derailed into tribal bashing. "How on earth could an interesting EPL game degenerate into tribal bashing?" Only in Nairaland. Special respect must be accorded the masters in this area. Great men and women like pentium....,Ngene U......,Omen...... 6. The name of Jesus opens doors, but in nairaland, the name that opens doors is lalasticlala and you must approach his throne with offerings(stories) that contain these sacrifices; snakes, tonto dike, cossy orjiako,Femi Fani Kayode,Ini edo,Linda Ikeji etc. Without these, the gates of front page will not be opened unto thee. |
Nothing will happen to him. He's from 'over there'. The people that fleece on the nation's assets and resources since creation |
...Yet,the first thing you pushed on assumption of office was that they be allowed to increase tarriff from 14.20 to 21. You swore that we can not have power supply till the increase is allowed for the GENCO's. Since the illegal increase, power has dropped to the lowest in the nation's history(even before the avengers started their disruption). Till now, this govt is still running on excuses |
I think its best that we pray for a 'divine intervention' to step in and remove this man. At the rate he's going,by 2019,we will be like rwanda and our economy will be like zimbabwe. |
This 40 year old polygamist is turning a disappointment. And I really rooted for him, hoping that his young age will bring some dynamism needed in the state. |
omenka:Youngman,if I were you I would worry more about the rot your state is being turned into by the cursed governors they've been 'blessed' with. P/s,that you 'uganda' thing is a bit stale and now drab. Get more creative |
Its got to be between Chukwuemeka Chikelu and Frank Nweke Junior. Though am tilted to the former than the latter As for Lai Mohammed,I can only explain him thus: I was watching channels yestreday and they announced that in a few minutes time, they'll be having Lai Mohammed(and Adeosun) in the studio for an interview. I just went to my dstv remote control, scrolled to Disney Junior(my kids favourite channel) and set a reminder for a cartoon program for 6pm. Immediately,it was 6pm,the channel switched to Disney junior and my kids were happy,I just walked into my room to watch sports on startimes. I can't afford to have my intelligence insulted by the brazen lies of an old man who has smeared his conscience with hot iron |
If you vote for him,he will revive the aviation sector of the state. But seriously,I think there's something he knows that we don't know |
That's how petty our DSS has been reduced. When a daft old man from daura will go bring his daft old daura brother out of retirement to head the dss. What do u expect? |
mrvitalis:Please,if you can pass this message to buhari and persuade him to step down,we will ensure that a national honour(mfr, mon, con etc) will be conferred on you |
In 2011 when imo people voted Rochas of apga over Ohakim of pdp,Obj made this statement, "I gave you people a small thief, una say una no want, say na big thief una want". We didn't understand what he meant, now we know, painfully though |
900m! Just watch as this info will gradually be hushed up while metuh's N400m continues to be reference point for some people. North has really fleeced this nation far more than other regions put together. Govt funds is their industry |
[quote author=Stanlel post=46098337 this administration refuses to take responsibility for its own failures, it also wants to take credit for the success of others.[/quote]This aptly describes this present administration. Meanwhile,I was disgusted to see the list of things listed by buhari as his achievements in one year. Intangibles like meetings attended abroad and resolutions passed at such meetings. Resoultions which would have still been passed with or without his attendance. I saw in that speech a compilation by a retinue of aids frantically searching for what to sell to the nation. Also, like I keep saying,if buhari wants to know what the pdp did with the resources of 16years,he should just call a meeting of his FEC. 16 of his ministers served as PDP office holders. They should be able to tell him. Finally,I wish people(and I mean buhari fans) can read this Reno's write up objectively without attack on the messenger. They will appreciate the truthfulness in it |
Youngzedd:So you voted for this man? So you are part of the people that put us in this mess? And now you want to 'hustle hard and get out of this country?' Its a lie,You are not going anywhere in Jesus name. You must stay and suffer the consequences of your action. |
I am grateful to buhari for giving me power supply for 2hours for every 5days of uninterrupted blackout. ...What about you? |
A zombie can best be defined as that person who runs out to buy fuel at N145/litre to power his gen because he has not had light in days to listen to Buhari's speech, after which he jumps out to shout 'sai buhari'. There is no hope of redemption for such other than by deliverance |
Na wetin you suppose talk, you dey talk. Shebi na because Buhari don gree to give you one of his older daughters to be your 4th wife? Silly governor! At 40,you already have 3wives. Just gerrraaarrra hiaaaa! |
antispexish:Am not a fan of metuh but am begining to wonder at the recent fixation people are having over metuh. There are many people that were indicted in that Dasuki arms money looting, almost every major politician got. From the north mostly to even a few from the west(FFK,George,Obanikoro,Falae etc) and then metuh. Many has promised to return and others have returned. Why the fixation on metuh? Is it a ploy to tarnish igbos for an offence which majority from other tribes are guilty of? Anyway, let's get back to your question. How is that all his predecessors (shagari and now Jonathan)are wrong and never him? Any good leader must take up the challenge and build on it. Look again at Real madrid that won the UCL last night. In january, under Coach Benitez, they were 5th on the spanish league, losing points almost weekly, morale was low until Zidane took charge and in 5months,they won the UCL,finishing just a point behind spanish champions Barca. Zidane did not waste time blaming his predecessor(whether he's guilty or not). He went straight to stopping the further loss of points and progressed from there. That's how you know a true leader |
Some of these state governors are using the excuse of 'no money' to secretly fleece their states of developments needed |
Jonathan towers above Buhari anyday. Buhari spent 2years blaming shagari for his poor performance until the SMC led by Ibb removed him. People who were around then know that he's just doing his usual blame game of his predecessor. |
Don't shoot the messenger! Look at the message and see if they are lies |
At N145/litre,I can not afford to waste my hard earned fuel which I should use at night to keep my kids cool to burn and watch buhari churn out lies and further campaign promises |
If you want to understand Buhari's promises, just take the opposite meaning of whatever he promised. For eg,he promised the creation of 3,000,000 jobs in a year, but in one year, close to that number has lost their jobs. He and the Apc promised that fuel will be brought down to N40/litre but we didn't know that he meant an increase to N145/litre. We missed the '1' infront. He promised that 24hours power supply will be made available but we didn't know that(for d first time in my neighbourhood, atleast),we now have 24hours uninterrupted darkness. I now actually have 2hours per every 5days. He promised that boko haram in the north east will be defeated. We didn't know that he meant that they will be removed from the north east but redistributed across the nation as herdsmen(so he was still right). Happy Democracy Day,Nigeria. P/s,I didn't watch the man's speech. Had no power supply and won't waste my precious fuel of N145/litre to run my gen to listen to lies. ...And if you bought fuel at N145 to power your gen to listen to Buhari this morning, afterwhich you come out to shout 'sai baba',then know that you are certainly under an 'unnatural influence',freeable only by deliverance. Fellow Nigerians,we should have known that APC was a party built on lies and propaganda when they circulated this photo of the crusade of Reinhard Bonkke and tagged it 'the greatest turnout ever at Buhari's rally and in Kano'. That's when we should have known
|
Galaxyowerri:May God bless you. People like you deserve a place in my future govt. |
Seenyo:Bros,so u are part of d people that did this to us |
atirolu:Its actually not fayose. Its een an apc governor in the south west. |
