There is no single information ever emanated from APC that is not fraught with lies and deceit. What we have in apc is a band of renegades who have been watching the treasury of a kingdom from outside and couldn't believe their luck when they overran the kingdom and won. All they came for where the treasury and no idea or plan for improving any sector of the economy. |
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Statistician-General of the National Bureau of Statistics, Dr. Yemi Kale, to change the high unemployment statistics and reflect the rising rate of employment in the agriculture sector. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, said this on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television. Shehu said during a recent meeting with the Federal Executive Council, Kale admitted that the NBS was only focusing on the creation of white collar jobs and not the agriculture sector and the informal sector. He said the President subsequently told him to go and admit his error to members of the public and make appropriate changes. When asked why job losses were being recorded, Shehu said, “There was a departure last week. The NBS chief had addressed the federal cabinet and he made the admission himself that they had concentrated analysis over time on white collar jobs and they had not taken cognisance of job creation in areas of agriculture. “Rice Producers Association of Nigeria made the open claim and nobody has challenged them up until the time that we speak, that they had created 12 million new jobs. “When he finished addressing the federal cabinet last week, the government asked the DG of the NBS, go out there and tell the Nigerian public, you are just saying to us now that Jigawa, Zamfara, Kebbi and Ebonyi are recording the lowest unemployment rates in the country on account of agriculture. “So, the point is that the data collected which has formed judgement on the data that have been passed and misleading and I think there is now a convergence. The data has been unfair to the administration, it had ignored job creation in the areas of agriculture but that is now being integrated and Nigerians will be impressed.” However, a spokesman for the Abubakar Atiku Campaign Organisation, Mr. Phrank Shuaibu, who was on the programme, lambasted Shehu, accusing the Presidency of attempting to alter job statistics on the eve of elections. He said it seemed the Presidency was trying to cow the NBS like it did to the West African Examination Council when the registrar personally handed over a certificate to Buhari at the Villa. Shuaibu said, “The National Bureau of Statics came for EFC meeting and according to the President’s spokesman, the man admitted that he miscalculated. That is an agency funded by government, not an agency sponsored by any international organisation. “He has forgotten that this is not 1984. 2015 is not 1984. The world has gone digital but because they are operating an analogue system of government, they don’t know that even a 10-year-old can use the internet to find out statistics. “When the NBS came out with the figures about loss of jobs and how it was affecting the economy, nobody came out to defend the government. But just as the certificate issue was managed, they have pushed the DG to the villa and obviously dictated to him what he should say. “You cannot say that a government that is in power, the DG of NBS reeled out statistics, you did nothing to him, many months after and because elections are here, on the eve of elections, he is summoned to FEC and is asked to generate new figures. That is a fallacious tale and an affront on the sensibilities of Nigerians and they should apologise to us.” Incidentally, the NBS has failed to release the statistics on unemployment for over a year, citing lack of funds as the reason. However, the opposition has always insisted that the Presidency had ordered the agency not to release the figures until after elections. https://punchng.com/buhari-has-asked-nbs-to-change-statistics-on-unemployment-rate-presidency/amp/ |
The actions and policies of this govt always negate and contradict every known economic principle as well as common sense

I believe the likes of Femi adesina, Garba shehu, Festus keyamo will be pulling some strings by now, using their connections in the media to get an advanced knowledge of the questions. |
Emerging report revealed that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has secretly recruited 15 world class Academicians, Economists, Historians, others, to specially tutor its Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, for the 2019 Debate, allegedly. This is coming after the much talked about just concluded Vice Presidential Candidates Debate, which took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, with many Nigerians and Political Observers of the opinion that the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, defeated that of the APC, Yemi Osinbajo. Also, reacting after the Debate, the APC United Kingdom Chapter, warned the Presidential Candidate of the party, not to participate in the forthcoming 2019 Presidential Debate. Elsewhere, there have also been speculations that the APC Candidate will be a no show at the Debate, just as he did in the 2015 general elections, where he failed to show up to debate with the then PDP Candidate, Goodluck Jonathan. Some political Analysts, as well as some concerned Nigerians, have been of the opinion that President Buhari cannot participate in an Election Debate, for his alleged lack of knowledge of the current situation of the country, and also his inability to allegedly provide brilliant and workable solutions to all the problems facing the nation in all aspects of governance. Sources are of the opinion however, that the alleged recruit of these world class Tutors for the APC Presidential Candidate, ahead of the Debate, may be because the President will not likely be able to shy away from this much awaited and very important Debate, as his major contender of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has let it be known publicly, that he cannot wait for the much awaited Debate, to politically end the APC Presidential Candidate, and go ahead to win the 2019 general elections. https://odebalanelsonsblog.com/2018/12/17/2019-presidential-debate-15-world-class-academicians-storm-aso-rock-to-prepare-apcs-buhari-specially-to-defeat-pdps-atiku-abubakar/?fbclid=IwAR3fWoA4LRafqXl17qmnhN7KVYnjB2nVi4Xlob4z3gyoK4B1ZGEy6M-BCok |
News of boko haram attacks are being subdued in the news under this incompetent govt. |
If he stopped to tear it, it won't have been brought to front page of nairaland |
Instead of working on brightening the light of their candidates, APC concentrates on dimnishing others light |
Osibanjo was actually doing two things: Lying and blaming. Most of the claims osibanjo were reeling out were lies but the buhari people were trying to distract Nigerians by focusing on obi. |
litdutchboy:Angry child |
I have never heard that the mobile court found the person innocent. Anything the FRSC staff accuse you of is what the court will slam you with. If you as a motorist plead not guilty and insist on your innocence, the court will defer your case with your car in their possession. Those willing to plead guilty will get instant judgement of fine . As for the officer, there should be judgements too for officers who first attack motorists |
litdutchboy:Son, Obiano lied. |
Most of them that parade abroadee certificate are actually drop outs who got hooked to drugs, alcohol and wild life till they abandoned school |
They want us to forget that osibanjo was churning out brazen bare faced lies |
Women like Linda Ikeji at that age are the most desperate bunch. Once they see a single man that has more money than them and wealthy enough to accommodate their ostentatious 'levels, the raw desperation in them comes out cos they know such men don't come easily. |
One of the first things you learn in a business school is to know your peers in your sector aswell as your models/mentors. China is doing well in economic growth and prosperity, any wise man will understudy what they did differently whereas a foolish leader will ignore lessons of their success story and instead go for loans and free bags of rice like buhari. Note the difference |
He has been sent to bed by abba Kyari by then. Around 8am , they will bring him out |
Keyamo is supposed to market his principal, buhari but he rather spends more time talking of other party's candidates. Still looking forward to seeing the APC appointee that understand his job function |
The APC VP candidate, Prof Yemi Osinbajo claimed Nigeria Is producing 7000 Megawatts of Electricity (FALSE !) However, according to the umbrella body of the electricity distribution company in Nigeria; Association of Nigerian Electricity Distributors (ANED), While there is an available capacity of 7,000MW, what Nigeria presently generates is no more that 5,000MW. This is because there is insufficient gas to power the thermal plants due to gas line limitations. Osinbajo claimed Nigeria produces 90% of the rice it consumes (False !) Despite the APC government’s promised agricultural revolution, Nigeria is still perceived to the world’s highest importer of rice according to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). Also, Rice farmers in Nigeria have recently reported a drop in output since last year due to higher input costs, insecurity and widespread flooding in the main growing regions. Osinbajo claimed Cost of fertilizer has reduced (False). In a July report, Business Day newspaper reported the average fertilizer prices across the states increased with Urea rising by 0.64% & SSP recording an increase of 4.67% compared to average fertilizer prices of June, 2018. Osinbajo claimed Nigeria is one of the fastest growing economies (False!) A World Economic Forum GDP forecast for 2017 listed Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Djibouti as the only african countries in it's world’s fastest growing economies list. Nigeria did not make the list. Osinbajo claimed Nigeria has built six innovation hubs (Unverifiable) While speaking at the launch of the NorthEast Innovation Hub in Yola in June, Professor Osinbajo stated that the Federal Government would establish six innovation hubs across the country. But yesterday Osinbajo said the FG had established six of such hubs. However, this claim remains unverifiable as there is no report in the media to back this claim that six innovation hubs have been built by the government. . Imagine what their next level will be if they have nothing to show for the first one with all the funds they have expended and the debts they have incurred. I understand why Osinbajo had to tell so much lie, it's a difficult task to market a bad product. |
I don't blameĺ those VP candidates. Their principals were the economic egg heads like Muoghalu, Ezekwesili, unlike the PDP and APC whose VPs are the economic experts |
Osibanjo and apc will lie and still stand by the lie even when the whole facts and truth has exposed it. At worst they will send shameless kids like ngeneukwuenu to go and stand by the lie. No govt in this nation has insulted the intelligence and sensibility of nigerians than this govt. Osibanjo told us that 80% of our rice consumed and gotten locally? Even the pastors among them now lie like Satan, zombies lie ngeneukwuenu will be doing better than Satan himself |
I can see that all bmc members have a new assignment: Bring down Peter Obi. They are not even bothered about their candidate and his lies but fixated on dimming the light of another candidate |
Mace0lane:If we are to kill those who stole from govt coffers, igbos will be the least affected. If you have a conscience, you will know the truth |
Peter obi never said we were in BRICS. He was speaking hypothetically that if you are a member of Brics, you first of all as a nation understand the vision and how it relates to your country's vision. It didn't mean we are in Brics. Kids and advanced comprehension. Where is that kid called mynd44, come and see another attempt at ridiculing obi. Come take it to front page too |
Buhari is right now touching and pressing different parts of his body to see the one he will go treat in London by that date |
Then he's not fit to run a nation. |
You raided a couple's home and you listed 1 car, a laptop, their atm cards, their phones, mercury light and some dollars as the incriminating items found? The court will strike out this case for lack of merit. Efcc just wasted their time |
Mynd44:I have noticed that any newsbit that seeks to ridicule or defame the PDP or it's candidate is quickly sent to the front page. We all know your game but I will advise that you apply some modesty in your actions since you are a MOD |
El Rufai, the king of hate speech is complaining of hate speech. Meanwhile, the day he stretches his hand towards the man of God is the day he comes to an end |
Who is he leaving her for? Any man that sleeps with this one will get possessed by some of those demons they've been harbouring within themselves there |
On the contrary, I think APC members from the north wanted him dead. Buhari recently revealed that those who wished him dead were already lobbying Osibanjo to be his vice. If you are intelligent, you should deduce the following from that: 1. An Osibanjo's vice must be from the north. 2. The person must be of muslim extraction. 3. And a member of the APC. So I guess buhari if he still uses his brains should know that those who wished him dead are closer than he thinks |
Hes indirectly begging for support from the Fed Govt cos he knows such sycophancy works on this govt |
