chloe00:. Oversabi made me pass through ORD last yr.i was held for over two hrs, people were just been turned back anyhow and the officials there are quite aggressive, finally I was allowed in, since then I made up my mind never to take such risk. I witnessed two pregnant women turned back, while I was in Chicago, I was expecting a friend of mine too she came in through Chicago, she was deported straight away. I m going next month planning to go through JFK. My best advice to anyone going for child birth is never to try Chicago POE. |
ozymes:Thank you ma |
Hi guys, I gave birth last year March in Chicago, I used John stroger cook county hospital, my visa expired that same March while in the US, I missed the drop box so I and my husband decided to book appointment for interview. We had our interview may 7. Meanwhile I am pregnant but we have been using B1/B2 visa, and that's what we applied for again. After collecting our passports, the visa officer just asked my hubby what does he do, he said he was an engineer, he also asked me same question, I said I m a home maker. He said you had your baby there last yr, I said yes, he asked what date I told him he also asked if I was pregnant and I said yes, he went further to ask if I would like to give birth in the states. I said yes, he asked how long will I stay if I go, I said 2months.He said OK and just handed over the white paper to us to pick up our visa. We did not spend more than a minute with Him. We were so happy, that same day the rate of denials was so high, but God favoured us. Pls any Chicago mum in the house that has information on accommodation, I will appreciate your help, I will be in Chicago August 2.still planning to use John stroger. Thanks all and wish everyone good luck. |
