when you open coreldraw x7, it brings a window with welcome stuff. By the left, you'll see a menu, click workplace then LITE (it is meant for beginners)

OR
go to OPTIONS at the top menu bar, click it and you'll see workplace, choose lite. Got it?

I own a window 8.1 system that isn't 100% compatible with coral draw X3 because it is for 32 bit system. I came across 64 big software but its Coral draw x7.
I do not know how to use coral draw at all,
Can I learn with the X7 or must I begin with the X3

Two ways

Its either you have a site with blog and ecommerce integrated so as to serve as a platform for your love(writing) and also make you money

Or you build a site..which is going to look like a blog anyway..and link a blog to it

The site will serve as a formal location for business activities such as sales of books and and your article writing service while the blog serve as the location for letting out your bullets


The first may pay you well as you can integrate adsense on both side..site and blog

But the later can only take adsense on the main site and not the part

I doff my hat to u guys and your 'know hows'.
Please, I need all the advice I can get this issue. I'm a writer, specializing in romance novels cos its d money spinner in literature writing, but I'm capable of lots more. Some of u might know from d politics of this forum where i indulge in endless intellectual arguements aand others may know me from d literature section where I have a very popular thread for one of my books 'RUTHLESS BETRAYALS' ......(follow the link in my signature to see).
My problem is that I have gotten to d stage where I need an adequate platform to express myself.
As a writer now on my second book, I have fans already in and outside Nigeria. My publishers tell me I need to get a website to host my fans/display my work. But I need a blog too. Something like blogger from where I can launch my missiles at d general public and they know who is talking. I also have lots of ideas in abundance to offer, copy and paste is not in my dictionary.
I don't have d dollars or d heavy cash to get and manage a website so blogger is looking even more appealing at d moment..
(A new author like a new actor is not sought after because he is yet unknown. a new author must give out his work for free to make his name....no profits. I'm at that stage now hence d lack of cash )
I'm thinking I should get a free blog right off, get Goggle AdSense and when I have some hard currency or good cash, get the website then link both somehow.

I don't know how but what say u guys the gurus? What opinions have I and who will help me.

Airtel recently launched their own customer care whatapps angle like mtn but the thing is the two lines I've so far do not work.
They are genuine line but the users/agents never reply or seen to see it and they are often online.
For a whole month now my message is still there but unread.

Pls do u have such issues as I do ? I would really a working line because whatsapps' 'message and read reply at convenience' really suits me.

To do that you'd have make use of the pen tool..create a layer under the photo layer..reduce the opacity of the photo layer to say 40%..now on the new layer you've created, grab the pen tool and start tracing..the best way to understand this fully is to follow a step by step tutorial..you can search for one online but if that isn't good enough, come back here and I'll do a quick tutorial

So google 'convert photo to cartoon on photoshop'

Note that there are many ways to go about this (as is always the case with photoshop) but to actually get a cartooned look, you'd have to literally draw and colour things yourself but don't be scared cos you'll have the picture as a reference.

Hope I've helped in a way..like I said, come back here if things are looking too much to handle and I'll do a tut and walk you through.

isn't it possible to learn Photoshop by one's self? I got a younger brother with hearing problem. He's smart, can draw and is computer literate, he literally taught himself to use his new PC but he has no work and conventional learning is no good cos of his hearing problem.
I have searched high and low for PDF tutorials etc but can't find. only videos exist.

any hope for my Bros cos if he can use Photoshop superbly his prospects even here are endless. He learn by himself if given a chance. he always does

I have a job, online and I created it myself using my brain and PC. some inquires too perhaps...that's it.
