I pity you, you don't know what is happening in this country...

Oya read this...

Chief Ayo Adebanjo, leader, Afenifere disclosed that the reason why the South-East region had not ruled was because the Northern people did not want to give up power and had further devised a means to ensure that the Southern region remained divided.

"I asked Tinubu; do you believe they will make you president? They have asked Osinbajo to contest, they wanted to divide the West first, then they went to the south. I am appealing to South-South candidates; Wike and others, they are not helping the issue, they are helping the North; it is a game to divide us, even in the South-East. The North doesn't want to yield power and they know the way to do it is to divide the country. The problem is ourselves; let us unite" he said.

Igbo president is what Nigeria need right now

BUT

Not from APC
Tribalising political parties are one of the major tools that caused political crisis in Nigeria in 60's..

That is Why in this modern democracy, any political party no matter how small it is must have offices in all 36 states of federation and members must be from the 36 states across the country for inclusive sake to avoid repeating of what Nigeria went through years back..

As long as Igbos are members of APC, they have right to contest, vote and to be voted for in the party they are loyal to .......

Igbo President is the only key that will drive peace, unity and inclusion as well as national development; adding that 2023 presidency rightfully belongs to the South-East region.

Yoruba socio cultural group, Afenifere, the Middle Belt forum, Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) and other leaders in the Southern region have pledged their support for an Igbo president ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The groups stressed that an Igbo President is the only key that will drive peace, unity and inclusion as well as national development; adding that 2023 presidency rightfully belongs to the South-East region.

PANDEF
Edwin Clarke, Elder statesman and leader, PANDEF decried the attitude of regions who see themselves as "winners" taking it all, feeling that they own the country, and are born to rule; and that, except they rule, the country will burn.

This, according to him, was unjust and unacceptable.

While stressing that an Igbo president would guarantee the peace and progress of Nigeria, the elder statesman pointed out that the South-East, like any other region, had the men and women, who are competent whom Nigerians would be proud of, to occupy the position.

Clarke said, “The Motto of Nigeria is "Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress". Where is the Unity I ask, where is the faith in our beloved country; where is the peace; and are we really progressing? Let us not deceive ourselves. I am a strong advocate and believer in the Motor of our dear Country, and that is why my doors are open to all. But are we really working towards the attainment of this Motto? You cannot marginalize and oppress a people, and expect them not to speak out," he said.

The problem is ourselves; let us unite" he said
.

Dr. Pogu Bitrus, Chairman, Middle belt Forum who delivered the keynote speech, described as illegal the ambition of the South-West to seek the presidency, after Obasanjo ruled as president for eight years and Osinbajo ruled for eight years as vice president.

He stated that by design, the zoning and rotation policy is supposed to make it possible for each of Nigeria's six geopolitical zone to occupy the seat of president for eight years over a 48-year period.

Politics2023: Nigerians Must Challenge Leaders Over Public Fund, Peter Obi Fumes by Ezeama400(op): 8:51am On Apr 09, 2022
Obi who referred to the reported 75bn he saved for Anambra state while also investing in critical infrastructure said that he “cut down the cost of governance and above all, I insisted from day one that we must save money.” and that he would do same if voted as the President of Nigeria

While responding to the alleged mismanagement of funds by his successor, former governor Obiano, he said “It is the people. I have lived in the Western world, the people are important when it comes to checks and balances.“He said the people have a right to demand accountability and reject policies that do not work for them. “But what you see here is that people, knowing that things are going wrong, are celebrating it,” Obi added.

The former governor of Anambra state stressed that Nigerians across states must demand accountability from their leaders from time to time.

Obi also noted that he would be able to cut down the cost of governance by not only cutting down the salaries of legislators but also that of the executive. He assured Nigerians that if voted in as President he would be able to convince the legislators with his sincerity as he would invest the resources of the country in important areas of the economy.

He said that Nigeria’s economy would thrive if it would invest in Youth entrepreneurship and education so that it could provide for the fundamental areas of development, health, education, and standard of living. He claimed that he would execute governance with ease and clarity of purpose if voted as president in 2023.

Obi lamented the spate of insecurity, and the Abuja-Kaduna attack, he said that investments in security should be a pre-emptive action by the Federal Government.

Money politics, fraudsters hindering Nigeria since independence – Peter Obi
“You don’t wait for thieves before you put a lock on your door. Our security system is below what it is meant to be in terms of equipment and investment. Security is the first line of intangible assets. It is one of the factors that investors will look at when they want to engage your country,” He added.

He said that if the government had put in place the needed security infrastructure the Kaduna-Abuja train attack would not have happened. “the government needs to do more and respond differently.”

While proffering solutions, he urged the Federal Government to find ways to provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youths, Obi said, “We have natural security and critical security. National Security, people must have a means of livelihood, today we have 33% Unemployment rate, if you combine it with the underemployment rate you have 65%. You are going to have security problems because this group is in their productive ages, When you provide them with jobs then you can now provide critical security,” he said.

Look at this clown asking for Peter Obi's achievement, are you daft ?. What is Anambra without Peter Obi ?
Ofcourse another criminal and moronic politician who sees Peter Obi as a threat has listed you on his payroll to do a dirty job that will definitely lead you to your perpetual disgrace..

Pls for the purpose of readers...

Below is what Peter Obi achieved in his first two and half years as a governor...

I will still come bck and update you guys more..
[b]Anambra was the first State to commence Sub-Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa. At a time many other Governors were leaving huge debts, I left the equivalent of $500 million Dollars in investment as well as local and foreign currency, including $156 million in Dollar-denominated bonds.
For the first time in the history of Anambra State, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of notable countries such as United States, Britain, Russia, European Union, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Canada, among others, visited the State. Before my tenure, Anambra was practically a pariah state blacklisted by the Diplomatic Corps and international development partners.
Development partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, DFID, the European Union etc., which hitherto were not in Anambra State started working with the State. Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in development partnership and commitment to reforms for good governance.
He was recognised as Best Governor by the Millennium Development Goals Office (OSSAP-MDGs) and the UNDP in the implementation of their programmes in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under him did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects.
The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria rated Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country.
The State’s ground-breaking return of schools to their original owners – Voluntary Agencies (Churches) on 1st January 2009, and subsequent partnership with the Agencies in Education, saw the State move from 24th position out of 36 States to Number One in National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations for three consecutive years. This made the World Bank to commission a study, led by the renowned Prof. Paul Collier of Oxford University, on this revolutionary partnership and phenomenal achievement.
The State also entered into strategic partnership with the Churches in the Health sector. This symbiotic relationship resulted in a tremendous boost to health care because of the services offered by health institutions owned by Voluntary Agencies, while the State restored grants to the agencies and made available to them more than 50 million Dollars in various types of support.
Through partnership with the Church in the Health sector, his Government funded the transformation of -:

His Government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are now being performed.

His Government won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (1 Million dollars) as the best-performing state in immunisation in the South-East. With complementary funding from our Government, they used the money to build 10 Maternal and Child Care Centres across the State, particularly in rural communities, in partnership with the Churches.
The State was the first to procure and distribute more than 30,000 computers to secondary schools, including 22,500 from HP. The Managing Director for Personal Systems Group HP Inc, Mr. FabriceCampoy described the deployment as the biggest of such projects in the Middle-East and Africa.
Anambra State Government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which the Head of Microsoft in Nigeria (Mr. Ken Span) described as the biggest such deployment in Africa so far.
The State provided Internet access to more than 500 secondary schools, which the CEO of Galaxy Backbone (Mr. Gerald Ilukwe) characterized as incomparable to any in the country.
More than 700 buses were provided to secondary schools in the State by our Government.
Boreholes were provided in schools all over the State.
Numerous classrooms were built in all the 177 communities of the State.

17 As part of the efforts to turn around the economy of the State, a number of companies were attracted to build their facilities in the Anambra State. A case in point is SABMiller, the 2nd largest brewery in the world, which built their first Green Field facility in the State, which is today one of the most successful facilities they operate globally.

A number of other companies followed the SABMiller initiative and were all supported and encouraged under our Government; a good example is INNOSON Motor Manufacturing Company, from which our government bought more than 1,000 vehicles.
Anambra State for the first time started close collaboration with recognized government security agencies (the Police, Army, Navy, Department of State Security, Civil Defence, among others), offering them various types of support including provision of more than 500 security vehicles. The improvement in security was phenomenal, such that the former IG of Police (Abubakar Mohammed) lauded Anambra State for not witnessing any bank robbery in my last three years in office.
To further enhance security, Anambra State provided at least one security vehicle to each of all the 177 communities in the State as well as various organizations such as markets and Churches.
His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka.
His Government commenced the planned development of the Igbariam Campus of the ChukwuemekaOdumegwu-Ojukwu University, including the fencing, construction of internal roads, electrification, construction of the Faculty of Law, Auditorium, Administrative Block, Faculty of Agriculture, Management Building, among others).
His Government attracted the World Bank support on erosion – National Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) – to Anambra State.
His Government was the first to do Poverty Mapping in Nigeria, as a guide for the effective implementation of our poverty-alleviation strategies.
His Government, for the first time, undertook the aerial mapping of Awka as well as the production of Structure Plans for Awka Capital Territory, Onitsha and Nnewi.
During his tenure and with his Government’s support, Anambra State became an oil producing State.
He built the first Secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were hitherto scattered around the State.
His government commenced the development of the ‘Three Arms Zone’ comprising Government House/Governor’s Lodge, Legislative Building/Speakers Residence, and Judiciary Building with Chief Judge’s Residence.
By the end of his tenure in 2014, more than twelve (12) health institutions, including two hospitals, had secured accreditation; when we took off in 2006, no health institution in Anambra State was duly accredited.
Anambra State was the first to undergo national peer review, which scrutinised State Governments for good governance, through the State Peer Review Mechanism (SPRM), an initiative of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the DFID.

Politics2023: We Need Wealth Creators, There Is No Money To Share Again - Peter Obi by Ezeama400(op): 6:40pm On Apr 06, 2022
Former Anambra state governor, Mr. Peter Obi, has said he is not desperate to be President of Nigeria, but that the country needs wealth creators and not sharers.

He also made the point that the country needs wealth creators and not sharers.

Obi disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja shortly after officially intimating the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s National Working Committee, NWC, of his intention to vie for the Office of the President in the 2023 election.

He said: “Our country is now going through a difficult time. I am not desperate to be a President; I am desperate to see a better Nigeria.”

On the insinuation that he is actually fronting for Atiku Abubakar, with whom he ran on a joint ticket in 2019, Obi dismissed same.

He noted that his background in the private and public sectors is enough to convince Nigerians of the kind of leader he is.

“You have to check my trajectory as a person, look at all the people that are contesting and view my background.

“You will probably see that I am the only person who has a very unique background.

“I am a businessman. I have chaired corporations in this country, including the Security and Exchange Commission, SEC and so many quoted companies and I have been a governor.

“It is for you to go and check all those places and see what I was able to do and ask yourself who is the right person to take leadership of this country at this difficult time,” he added.

He decried the state of affairs in the country, noting that in the past few years, Nigeria has been in the news for the wrong reasons.

“We have what we call natural security and artificial security. The natural security deals with job creation.

“You need to put food on people’s tables to ensure that they are not doing the wrong thing.

“If they don’t know where the next meal will come from, the tendency is that they will become a tool for anything.

“So we need to employ people. I know what to do in puting money into micro, small and medium scale enterprises.

“I have experimented this in a small way people can see. Otherwise how could a small state like Anambra end up on the day I was handing over not owing salary, pension?

“No contractor who executed his job, raised certificate or supplied us goods, was being owed.

“I have N77 billion which is over $500 million at that time in the bank. I know what we can effectively do to turn around the situation.

“We are now on top of the list of the most fragile states. We are now on top of the list of the most terrorised states sitting behind Yemen and Afghanistan.

“We are the capital of poverty in the world. We now have more people living under poverty than most big nation’s combined. We now have several millions of out-of-school children.

“Unemployment is 33 per cent officially but when you add under employment, it is about 60 per cent.

“Of these are the young ones who constitute the asset and the engine room of their productive age.

“People now spend 100 per cent of their salary to feed. It is a crises situation. What will somebody like me do?

“We need to move the country from consumption to production. There is nothing to share again.

“We now need wealth creators, not wealth sharers. We have been sharing wealth for a long time, we need to start creating wealth,” he added.
