Politics / Re: Lot Of People Migrated From The SE Just To Vote In Lagos - Lagos INEC REC. by Ezemistic: 3:18pm On Feb 10, 2023
This poster or the INEC REC of Lagos need to be sued for Hate Speech.
Come to think of it, why do people ascribe a state to a tribe in a country of over 77 ethnic group, and Lagos been the first Capital of Nigeria, what do you expect to see in Lagos after over 3-decades of been Capital of the Country. You don’t know so many generations of different tribes will remain in Lagos? because their Life started their.

Also come to think of it, in another way. Does it mean all tribes should only reside in their states, are we dividing the country or what? Are we not free to live in any part of the country as a Nigerian?

Development is a product of diversity. If the population in Lagos is not their, the patronage and economic boost will not thrive to the level it is now.
Today, CANADA is building their population with different tribes all over the world. This is for the diversity that will promote the development in their country and boost their economy in diverse ways.

Please the reason for education is to help us understand all of these, so we can promote peace and progress of our communities and country at large. Let’s shun this hate speech and tribal war, it won’t help our dear nation.

God bless you all

is possible to fill 6-months VISA for my wife and daughter even though i have already filled 2yrs for myself? and still travel together?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Ezemistic: 9:47pm On Jan 12, 2019
Pls I need your help.
I just finished applying for UK Visa for Myself and including my wife and daughter as people traveling with me. I have also paid the VISA fee for 2yrs Visa. But on registering TLSContact Process, I saw a message on the site that implies that I have to also fill a separate application for my wife and daughter (5yrs old). Does it mean that I will pay separately for their VISA fees (my wife and daughter) and book separate appointmentsfor them?

The bank can give you a letter to that effect. My friend got one from Zenith yesterday addressed to Travelex. Hopefully she will get the forex today...

Also, without boarding pass, they wont give you. Infact, after payment, the dollar will be given to you at the boarding gate... (that's what they started this week o)

Hello mummies. I ve been following this thread as a visitor on naira land but decided to join naira land tonight to be able to post this information I found out at the airport in Lagos.
For those who want to buy PTA from travellex at MMIA in Lagos, pls get your BVN CARD from your bank and take it along with you with your passport, visa & boarding pass. New rules and surprisingly, no queue.
I will be fulfilled if this information will help at least 1 person. I ve learnt a lot from this thread. I appreciate everyone.

Hello people, been stalling on sharing my birth as I was waiting to receive all my bills. Had my baby in July through c-section delivery at Sisters of Charity hospital, Buffalo in New York. For those interested in birthing in New York, bills are
Hospital: mother 4861, child: 1491 for self pay.

Doc: (used Buffalo ob gyn) I was quoted 2200 for c-section and 2k for vaginal delivery but ended up paying1450$. I met with the billing manager and she billed me based on the number of visits I had. I had only 3 visits with them before my surgery and she said 1k is their cost for surgery.
Epidural: 800 on the condition that I pay before surgery. Their initial quote was 3k. Thank God I called before the surgery.
Am still waiting for the Paediatrician bill for hospital visit
After discharge Paediatrician visit: 153$
Ultrasound:130$
Hiv: 130$. It's compulsory for one to do the hiv test.
In all, God really showed himself and one thing I learnt is we could always ask for additional discount. All thr best to everyone. The phone numbers are on the website.
For the doctor's office, I was rotated between two doctors. the one that took my delivery isn't so patient friendly, they spend little time with you as they are in a hurry to attend to the next person. But they know their job. So if u need a doctor that would gist with u, u could check another doctor office.

Thanks for sharing your experience in Buffalo NY. Pls can you help me with where I can stay? I have being checking Airbnb.com but most apartment seen are highly priced, and do you know which area is better for Naija people where i can see our fellow naijas?
