We IPOB members got the message. Since IPOB High Command cannot cancel election boycott, they moved the referendum to Feb 16th. This means, no sitting at home again. FailBuhari 16th, no going back on our 6 million votes for Atiku. |
paq1:It is already on locked down for Atiku. Even last election we voted about 2 million and SW voted about 4 million. We gave all our 2 million to PDP making GEJ to win with a difference of 2 million while Buhari won SW with a difference of 580k votes. SE is more strategic than SW. |
garfield1:Orji Kalu is my own brother. I have a lot to gain if he wins, but he won't. The reason is simple. His election is the same day as Buhari's. So any vote for APC will be viewed as vote for Buhari. In the history of this country, the Senators that win election are mostly those from the party that won in the Presidency in that location. Nobody has time to vote for Atiku in Presidential, then APC in Senatorial and then PDP in Reps. When APGA tried "Vote PDP for President and APGA for Senate and Reps". They lost all their NASS seats. If Atiku wins Abia North, my district, OUK will fail. |
garfield1:Are you aware Aba banned T.A Orji from entering the city and each time he enters for any official function he was pelted with stones and satchet water? Aba protested against Ikonne and he was removed by T.A Orji. Compare Atiku's outing in Owerri and Buhari's Enugu + Onitsha outing. It was a success for Atiku. The only living soul that can shutdown SE is IPOB and Failbuhari 16th, 6 million votes are guaranteed for Atiku. |
ClearFlair:Even if he wins everywhere, not Aba. If Aba rejects him, SE will reject him. |
garfield1:Umuahia is the hometown of NK. OUK is hated in Aba even as Governor. Aba is the warrior of Ndi Igbo and provides leadership for Biafran nationalism. If Buhari is popular in the East, Aba will tell but watch how we will shutdown SE when Atiku visits Aba sanctioned their own King and removed him as Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers for just endorsing Buhari. His son Prince Ikonne ran 2 times as Governor in ACN and failed woefully in a city his Father is an Imperial Majesty. Aba is the heartbeat of Ndi Igbo, the symbol of our bravery. |

garfield1:He couldn't pull a mammoth crowd in Enugu and Onitsha, na Aba him wan pull mammoth crowd. |
1shortblackboy:Don't deceive yourself. Did IPOB order a boycott when Atiku visited Owerri? When Buhari visited were there anyone in the stadium? |
allthingsgood:That is all PDP need to trigger USA interference. It was the same strategy Obama gave to APC and they openly told GEJ they would that. |
Kingwizzy16:All PDP has to do is reject the election result and declare a parallel govt. |
garfield1:NK has picked up his PVC. He will fly in to Afara Ukwu just to Atikulate. But you sound like someone in sifia pains. You must be a yoruba moslem. |
I am aware under Buhari, herdsmen have massacred Edo people more than ever. Next level might be you. |
Now watch how IPOB will not issue this order when Atiku visits. If IPOB really issued this order, Buhari should just forget it. Only Orji Uzor Kalu and his 300 zombies will be chanting their demonic 4+4, while IPOB will be singing 4+0 when eating the Ofe Nsala. Ndi ara. |
Hypocrite. He hailed OBJ when he wrote a letter to GEJ but condemned him when he wrote to him. He hailed Tambuwal when he decamped from PDP, but condemned him when he returned to his party. |
The Senate was scheduled to reopen tomorrow to deliberate on Buhari's suspension of the CJN. There were credible intelligence that APC Senators were planning to disrupt proceeding and create chaos for DSS to interfere like Amechi did in Rivers leading to the lock-up of the Rivers House of Assembly. Saraki dribbled the APC and approach the Supreme Court for interpretation. This technicality now allows the case to be heard at the Supreme Court at first instant instead of challenging outrightly the power of the President to suspend the CJN in Federal Court. With this move, Saraki eliminated the long time it will take to hear and conclude on this case based on experience of what happened in Kwara during his tenure as Governor. This move also removed the pressure from Senate and placed it on the Supreme Court who will set a dangerous precedent should they interprete it to favour Buhari. This will automatically stripped the judiciary of their independence and place them at the mercy of the Executive. With the sentiment currently in favour of the CJN, and the NJC rejection of Tanko as CJN, the Supreme Court justices are likely to declare Buhari's action as unconstitutionally specifically to protect their independence. This landmark verdict will water the ground for Buhari's impeachment now triggered by judicial process. Even if APC blocks the impeachment, but two things are certain: 1. The CJN will resume duty as the constitutional CJN of Nigeria. 2. The battered image of Buhari will be further battered before the international community. |
Why are APC jittery nah? Why are the afraid of legal interpretation? Their intention was to disrupt Senate proceeding and Saraki pass them all. |
SalamRushdie:Tanko is not a member of NBA. We will know his fate 2mao |
PearlStreet:Yorubas are predictable politically. They can't give beyond their trademark 40% - 60% vote mix. Throw a plate of ewedu to them and they will betray their entire generation. Leave 2 in a dark corner, and they will fight each other for the skull. |
tollyboy5:Yoruba sophistication with Mc Oluomo as their enforcer in chief. I haf dai. Agbero sophistication. |
Collins10:I was at the burial. His body was received at the Abuja Airport by over 11 cultural troupes from different African countries. After the reception, he was flown direct to Enugu Airport were SE Governors Forum and Ohaneze Ndi Igbo received his body and handed over to the King of Ogidi. This was after the academic procession by UNN. At the burial, Jonathan was President, President of Ghana was present, 3 other countries sent representatives and Peter Obi was the MC. His family donated 163 Million Naira to St. Philips Anglican the burial service was held in. That church was built by Achebe's father as were told by Achebe's son during his speech. GEJ and President of Ghana promised to rebuilt the primary school Achebe attended as a joint Nigeria-Ghana collaboration. Shagari wasn't given a state burial, Ekwueme wasn't given a state burial, Awolowo wasn't given a State burial. Only Ojukwu was. Achebe was buried with honour. What again are yorubas asking for?

Ezniteadin:You guys are so much bittered. Kpele. Soyinka writes plays and Amanda writes prose. How do you expect a Playwrite to influence a storyteller? |
I am anti-rochas and everything he represents but APC is making a mistake here and Rochas sef is greedy. We told him Alaigbo is not Yoruba land where one man has over 32 million people in his pyjamas pocket. |
I am 5%, my votes are meaningless. |
Satellite or not, US already told us in 2018, May 9th, that they are planning a transition in Nigeria. All PDP needs to do is to declare a parallel govt after the election and it will be a done deal. UK currently have issue with the dullard, Israel is not happy with him because of Palestine, Iran hates Buhari most. It is over for thief Buhari. |
globemoney01:We didn't vote for Obiano, we voted for Ojukwu. PDP came distant third because of Peter Obi decamping from APGA. Tony Nwoye in APC was former PDP candidate when Peter was in APGA. |
gidjah:Your head dey there |
Yoruba moslems need the APC ticket most, give it to them. We can't re-enforce a failure. We rather try our chance with PDP. |
President Atiku, don't worry. |
helinues:This yoruba moslem is in sifia pains |
