seunmsg: This is not about mouth running. It is about doing the right thing in the interest of the judiciary and the country. There is really no point trying to fight a lost battle - the judiciary will be the loser. Onnoghen cannot continue as Chief Justice, he should resign honorably. You yorubas Moslems are something else. You guys keep making yourselves enemy of the South. A time will come when you will need help or solidarity from the South but you will not get. The question is did Buhari follow the process in removing him? There is no constitutional provision for suspending a CJN. The same way you cannot suspend the President and Senate President is the same way you can't suspend a CJN. Imagine, MIddle Belt that has nothing to do with the South is actively identifying with the South, attending all meetings and abiding by the resolution. With this new alliance, Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, PANDEF (ND) and United Middle Belt Forum, we don't need SW in Southern matters again. |

Politics › Re: A Lawyers Submission On The Suspension Of The CJN. Must Read. by EzeNri(m): 9:16am On Jan 27, 2019 |
seunmsg: Onnoghen is just a shameless person, if not, he would have recused himself from presiding over the Supreme Court and NJC immediately the matter started. If he had done that, there would have been no need for his suspension. But no, he wanted to preside over his own case. If FG had appealed the decision of the court of appeal stopping CCT from hearing the case, who will constitute the Supreme Court panel that would have heard the case?
Even those arguing that NJC should have been allowed to discipline him, who would preside over the NJC meeting? Even when it became obvious that NJC will consider taking a decision on him, he postponed the NJC meeting indefinitely for no reason. Why should such a crooked character be allowed to preside over the highest court in the land?
Onnoghen lost the moral right to continue in office the day millions of undeclared foreign currencies was traced to his account. There is no point fighting a lost battle. He should resign immediately and save the judiciary from further embarrassment. After running your mouth, Buhari will still reverse the matter and then follow due process. |

They should go and first with the corruption cases in judiciary before we can take them serious. Be ready to wear your wig when NBA shuts down the court. |

LordCenturion: Don't know why people are crying around because of the removal, when the title isn't a family royal stuff like a kingship where one family rule forever, this is a Republic government, people serve, and people go,during obj era,he indirectly remove some governors like fayoshe,CJN need to be suspended till when his matter will be clear... As for me and my households, we are supporting sowore, but if buhari win, so be it but never involved myself in something that will bring PDP back to power, not to talk of Atiku of all people, enough of old faces please... There is no way u want to clean up the mess that people won't see u as an evil, like the way they label buhari as a dictator.
Yes, it's normal, u can't just fights those ones that are doing everything to make sure that u get to the power directly ,u can just find the way to always caution them and punish them indirectly . Just look at trump,he knows that some members of his party are not a Saints, but he only criticised democrats publicly. Even if you were in buhari shoe, you will do the same, there are many corrupt officials under Jonathan, but he never punish them, even those ones that coordinate the immigration recruitment exercise that led to several graduates death never get punish,u can't punish your supporters but you have to let them know Ur agenda so that non of them can break the mutual agreement,so those that are not satisfy with it can leave the party just the way Atiku, saraki, and others leaves, including obj that always criticised government that didn't favour him.
PDP are a crooks that know how to play their game very well than other political parties because they are very matured in criminal activities,.. Europeans,US or UK shouldn't interfere in our issues, they are the ones that started this mess a century ago . Besides, what is the essence of gaining independent?, they have many issues of their own, so they should face it, there are many dictators in Africa here and around the world whos has been ruling for the past 3 decades, they have nothing to say to that.... Hypocrites Stop pretending Yoruba Moslem. |

Why wailing about Buhari's lopsided appointments when power is coming to the south in 2023.
Karma is already waiting Power is not coming to the South in 2023, stop deceiving yourself. PDP is fielding either Kwankwaso or Tambuwal in 2023 to run against Osunbande/El Rufai. All the gods of Yoruba land cannot defeat that ticket. |

etin06: Nigeria is a funny country. Let the NBA go to court and challenge the action of the president if they feel he acted contrary to the constitution rather than issuing this nonsense they called resolution. The NBA that has been silent over how the CJN got $3,000,000 and postponing the NJC meeting indefinitely has not woken up to call the NJC for the suspension of the acting CJN what a show of shame. It's now very clear the judiciary is the most corrupt organ of govt . They are not going to any court. They are shutting down the court. |

Imortal001: Igbos always miscalculating when its comes to politics. Igbos are far more ahead of you. If Buhari wins, we have sizeable number of Ndi Igbo in APC and in 2023, we will battle SW for the ticket or support a SS. The same 2023, PDP will still field North/South ticket. In your very eyes, you will see Buhari and the cabal supporting the PDP Muslim candidate. If you think all the top most Northern politicians decamped to PDP just for 2019, then you are naive. But if Atiku wins it is a game over for Yoruba. Worry about Yoruba Moslems putting all their eggs in one basket. |
