Shekarau has challenged my notions about the people of the North once again.
There is HOPE FOR NIGERIA! |

Great way to end the debate Shekarau! |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 9:01pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Ribadu lost this debate.
Buhari is a little cautious and ambiguous.
Shekarau clearly won this debate. |

Every time Ribadu opens his mouth, ACN is losing more votes.
The moderator is doing a good job controlling the candidates and the crowd. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:53pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Every time Ribadu talks, he sounds like a fool.
Even Buhari does not sound like a fool compared to that joker Ribadu. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:51pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Shekarau talks about his inclusive government in Kano. Interesting response. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:47pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Ribadu needs to shut his mouth. Arrogant fool! |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:43pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
I need more information Shekarau. I task all Nairaland members to research this man and give us a report. |

I really like the moderator. She has done well.
I see politics in her future. |

jason123: My people VOTE FOR ANYONE OF THEM EXCEPT GEJ!!!
I like the part where the candidate said, " there is difference between military rule and civilian rule. The so called north has not ruled democratically". Ezeuche can you hear that It not about regions, its about Nigerians!!! Haven't you been seeing my post recently. Buhari and Ribadu has not impressed me but Shekarau has been doing a good job. I need to see Shekarau presidential platform though, but this man is doing a very good job. |

Shekarau has done well! |

I like the MODERATOR.
A very tough QUESTION! |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:33pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
I think many Buhari, Ribadu and GEJ supporters are upset.
Shekarau is a dark horse candidate in my opinion. |

fstranger3: But not a popular answer. His explanation is wack and elitist though. It was not a popular answer, but I wouldn't call it wack and elitist. More like paranoia in a way. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:31pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Seun: Buhari is clueless too!! I agree as well. Maybe it is poor debating skills. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:29pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
eku_bear: Shekarau has a big advantage for me in that I can actually understand his English easily.
Ribadu and Buhari. . . it is a struggle to understand their language Your ears are not trained for Nigerian tongues. Mehn you would not survive in Lagos or even in Ekiti if you had to live there. Buhari and Ribadu are not hard to understand. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:27pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Very tough question for Shekarau. I know how many Africans are suspicious of vaccines from the West.
He may have lost points, but I understand his point of view.
The man has still done well in this debate. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:24pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
A very good question for Shekarau.
He did not support Polio vaccinations. I want to hear his reasons. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:22pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Shekarau knows how to debate.
Good job. |

PapaBrowne: Nice one Khadira, Buhari sees nothing wrong in our education system!! Another reason why he should not be elected. Only a fool would say such errant nonsense. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:18pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Gbawe: You just seem to find problems with everything Ribadu does !! Even Obama and western politicians do it . I.e try to get a vital point in after time has elapsed . It is nothing to brand anyone arrogant over . Cool it man . Your dislike of Ribadu is palpable. Can you please hush. Not everyone is going to support Ribadu. I had high expectations for Ribadu, but he is not doing well. I did not have the same expectations for Buhari. Shekarau towers above them all. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:15pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
eku_bear: Nigeria is a weird country though. Fashola is wayyy more qualified than any of these three guys. But I guess for various reasons cannot run.
All three of these guys so far are just blathering. What makes Shekarau unqualified for the presidency? Fashola will have to wait. Let him continue to do go things for Lagos. You are talking about things you do not understand Americana boy. |

Graduates that can't write will be a nice topic. Many of them can be found on Nairaland. |

Ribadu is definitely an attack dog. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 8:04pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Shekarau is making SENSE!
It is a pleasure to look at his poise and confidence as he approaches a question. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 7:58pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Someone told Ribadu to soften his voice. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 7:56pm On Mar 18, 2011 |
Gbawe: Your obvious bias is off-putting . At least he is "throwing around facts" rather than vague generalisations . In the books of most balanced folks , "throwing facts around" is certainly better than glossing over issues with generic talk that expose a lack of detailed knowledge. Calm down. Buhari is not doing well either. Shekarau is the only person who is performing well in this debate. |
Politics › Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by EzeUche2(m): 7:54pm On Mar 18, 2011 |

Kobojunkie: @Poster, I thought we saw threads claiming the President and his vice finally agreed to the debate. What happened? Stop messing up the chat room on the Ribadu link! |
