Beaf my brother, I hope you have come to realize which people who are against GEJ's presidency.

We in the East are in full support of his plans.

People are getting afraid, because he may turn his attention to the South-South and South-East to correct past wrongs.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Ohanaeze Lists Conditions For Fashola’s Endorsement by EzeUche2(m): 5:42am On Mar 04, 2011
If Jonathan loses, the South-South will not be happy. And when the South-South is not happy, the rest of Nigeria will not be happy.

That "person" is trying to start trouble. And it seems like he is stalking me. I think that is very weird.

Agreed. But I don't think our leaders are smart enough. Maybe Ohanaeze may say something.

Malcolm X was a great man.

He spoke the truth and he loved Africa.

Solomon227:
Buhari was a military head of states with maximum power to introduce sharia he never did because that has never been his desire. There was no single religious clash throughout his reign as the head of states. He consistently refuted the propaganda that he hates xtians.

I challenge you to come with a documented evidence where Buhari has publicly or privately shown disdains for xtians and christianity.

If he was a bigot like some of you still belive he would not visit almost all the Churches in Lagos and other southern states to tell them he never hated xtianity. He even chose a running-mate from the vineyard.

My brother open your eye. Why do u think IBB, Atiku, Ciroma , and others (all moslems) are finding it difficult to support him? He is simply not interested in who and what you worship but asking you to give him a chance to pull this nation out of d dungeon PDP has plundered us into over years.

Will I vote 4 GEJ simply because he is a xtian like me? No because I know he gave out his plane to a day-light murderer, he visited a convicted looter and hosted a welcome party for him , he imported dust-bin from UK, he has almost finished all the foreign reserve with nothing to show for it.,.,.,

Calls for 'total' Sharia in Nigeria
2001-08-27 21:32

Lagos - A former military ruler of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has called for the introduction of 'total' Islamic law across the country, reports said on Monday.

Buhari, who ruled Nigeria from a coup in December 1983 to his ouster in 1985, told a seminar in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, at the weekend that the strict Islamic law code known as the Sharia should be introduced in full across Nigeria.

"I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports.

"God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," Buhari said.

When words are uttered like that, I can never take him seriously. The man believes in Sharia and that is one of many reasons why I can't support the man.

I'll take my chances with GEJ.
PoliticsRe: Wahala Dey Oh! Buhari Leads On All Polls by EzeUche2(m): 12:37am On Mar 04, 2011
If GEJ loses, just think of what will happen in the Niger Delta. I shutter to think what will happen next.

I am more afraid of Buhari than GEJ. Buhari believes in Sharia and that is something no candidate in a secular nation should believe in.

I have no job to be at peace with ibos like you always claiming what does not belong to you. Until i razed Alaigbo to ground level No Relenting.
You wont relent to my people are slaves to your people. That is what you meant to say. Either way, Igbos in Lagos have a right to demand representation.

Now get over it.

And they will continue to voice their commands.

Abeg, whoever educated you, you should ask them for a refund.

With such shoddy reasoning. . . we may as well suspect GEJ of bombing his own rally!  grin

After all, "why shouldn't GEJ not be suspected of this heinous act"?
You know nothing about Nigeria. Simply visiting Nigeria on vacation does not equate to living in Nigeria. How can you talk to someone who was born and raised in Nigeria about the state of MY country?

Do you even know where this state is located on the map?

Of course CPC should be considered a suspect ALONG with OTHERS.

and he frankly does not give a damn about nigerians

they had advance warning of the october 1 bomb blasts but chose to 'go on with the show' rather than warn nigerians of the danger
Ok, I understand you have a problem with GEJ, but the way things are going, I don't think anyone can stop these troubling events occurring throughout Nigeria.

This could happen to any Southerner who wants to be president of Nigeria. The North is using everything in their arsenal, to paint GEJ as incompetent.

Look at the words that were uttered by some of them saying they would make Nigeria ungovernable.

Look at the Dumbo that knows Geography, you don't even know that the Tropical Rainforest is a general classification. The ibos the last time i checked were in divided between the Mangrove Swamp and Dense forest? Who told you YORUBA land is not in The Tropical forest? What a dumb conclusion. Did you know where the Tropical Rainforest stretches to? Even it is more visible in the lung of the world and Congo than Nigeria. See the Dumbo that want to engage me his better in a Contest on Geography!

Instead of people arguing about why Beaf is right or wrong, people should be worried about how bombings are the new norm in Nigeria.

If you all are not worried, you all should be. April is coming soon.

Either way, I could care less about Lagos.

I see nothing of value in that slum. However, I will say that Igbo rights must be respected.

The fact that Ohanaeze has asked for more Igbo involvement in politics does not seem to be too much to ask for. We already contribute a lot to Lagos. All jokes aside.

Yes, it is good for Nigeria. People fought to keep my region in Nigeria, so we Igbos have spread to other regions in Nigeria.

Deal with it.

Yorubas have shown themselves to be the sole ethnic bigots in Nigeria.

Hausa people perceive Yorubas as tribalist. Ijaws perceive Yorubas as tribalist. Edo people perceive Yoruba as tribalist, Igbo people perceive Yorubas as tribalist. Everyone does.

Igbos are seen as expansionist.

You either treat us with kindness/peace and allow us to ply our trade, or annihilate us in battle.
