Ileke-IdI:You want some too? ![]() Igbo man fought Hausa in their territory. I guess you haven't heard of how we Igbos dealt with the Hausa in their own town of Kano. They tried to meet us with machetes, we met them with AK-47s supplied by an Igbo gun supplier and massacred them. And let us not forget my brothers down in South Africa met the mobs who wanted to kill foreigners with AK-47s as well. Sorry bluetooth, but the Yoruba are the weakest link. Good bye! ![]() |
jason123:Like I have been telling you Mr. "Itsekiri," your people lost to the Ijaws. You shouldn't even show your face on this thread. How can your people allow the Ijaws defeat you in your own turf? Now the Ilaje are going through the same thing. |
Ileke-IdI:Yes, our property has been returned to most Igbos. Port Harcourt is firmly in Igbo hands, so what are you trying to say? Ijaws fighting Yorubas. This is not the first time we have heard this nor will it be the last. |
10cirenoh:Yes, we are all watching. Ijaws know who to pick a fight with. Binis, Igbos and Ibibios, showed that we will fight back. Let us watch the Ondo people react. I hope it is swift. And no I cannot even imagine the Oba of Benin being kidnapped or any Bini chief being kidnapped by Ijaws. Bini people are not cowards. |
~Bluetooth:The Yoruba did nothing. Just a gang up of various groups on one ethnic group. This is a man-to-man fight. Lets see how the Yorubas fact a warlike ethnicity that learned all their tactics from the Igbos of the hinterland. |
Oh shut up Ileke-Idi. You are a wounded lion. Ijaws made your people run, so maybe you should talk to the Ilaje people to grow some balls and fight back. The other majority groups are watching closely. |
See any difference between these people? https://www.stephanfaris.com/Nigeria/graphics/Bakassi_Boy.JPG Well there isn't really any difference. The first picture is an Igbo man, and the second picture is Ijaw militants. Let the Yorubas know they are facing our cousins. |
jason123:Shouldn't you be telling that to the Ijaws? Or are you scared? ![]() |
Look at these Yoruba posters react. You can tell they are embarrassed that their kinsmen ran from the Ijaws. I used to laugh at the Itsekiri getting their arse kicked by the Ijaws, but now I respect them, because at least they didn't run like their Yoruba cousins. ![]() |
Ileke-IdI: I guess you have forgotten who was the FIRST president of Nigeria. But I know you and Nigerian history is not good. Who owns Port Harcourt? That was where the abandoned property saga happened. Let me give you the answer, Port Harcourt is in Igbo hands now. And the Ijaws know that the Igbos run Rivers State. Guess who is the governor? It is an Igbo man. Now worry about your own backyard. |
Chyz*:No need to feel ashamed. Just imagine if this news occurred in Igboland. The Yorubas would be delighted with what had occurred and jumping for joy. |
10cirenoh: ![]() Bini people have showed the Ijaws that they do not fear them. Igbo people have showed the Ijaws we do not fear them. Ibibios have showed the Ijaws that they do not fear them . Yoruba run from the Ijaws. At least the Itsekiri fought them, even though they lost. |
Onlytruth:Ya! The same people who are scared of Igbo domination in the East are showing the Yorubas that they do not fear their domination. ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Do not give yourself that much credit. You are just leading your men into battle. We know how Yoruba women have more "balls" than their men. |
alex101:Very true. ![]() Yoruba people, it will be alright. If you ask the Igbo nicely, we may work as intermediaries between you and the Ijaws, our cousins. That is the least we can do for the Yoruba for allowing us to make money off their people. |
Arysexy:Do not make me die of laughter my brother. I am laughing too hard right now. Stop it! lol ![]() |
Chyz*:Ileke-Idi started it with her nonsense trying to insert the Igbos into this mess. Blame her for all the subsequent actions of Igbo posters after her post. We could not allow that woman to go unanswered. We had to give her a "taste" of her own medicine. |
Run for the hills Ilaje, the Ijaw are coming! Maybe the Ijaws are the new Vikings for Nigeria. When Yorubas see their boats, they start running. Even communities not under attack! https://www.vanityfair.com/images/politics/2007/02/poar01_junger0702.jpg |
TewMuch:Shows how much you know about history, but that is another topic. Let us discuss how you will "try" to deal with these warlike people. The other majorities (Igbo and Hausa-Fulani) are watching you and your reaction. Soon everyone will want a piece of Yoruba land. The Edo will lay claim to parts of Ondo and Ekiti State, Hausa will march to the sea, Ijaws will lay claim to the coast of Yorubaland and Igbos will have a city-state in Lagos. ![]() |
Onlytruth:Maybe I should update that picture. This is what they will see soon. ![]() |
Good to see once former allies fighting each other though. Middle Belt vs. Hausa-Fulani Yorubas vs. Ijaws Maybe this is payback for Odi and the killing of their leader Adaka Boro. ![]() |
I am just enjoying this. Look at how the Yoruba are trying to save face. Their king has just been kidnapped in the last few days and they are going back to history. Soon the Yoruba will see this along their coast. ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Well it does solve a purpose though. It is a win-win situation. If the Yorubas attack the Ijaws, then the Ijaws will look to the Igbo for support. If the Ijaw succeed and defeating the Yoruba, then that will weaken the Odua Nation. But this is all hypothetical and no Igbo is thinking like this. We are just bystanders watching to see what will happen next. |
Chyz*:You are correct my brother. Ijaw and Yoruba is a much better topic. Itsekiri have been subdued, now it is the Ilaje turn. Maybe the Ijaw will succeed in what the Yoruba led Biafran forces could not do. Capture Lagos! One town at a time. ![]() |
TewMuch:Oh boy now you have done it. Jaja of Opobo, the most powerful king in the Niger Delta was an Igbo man. Ijaws dealt in slaves, but they never raided Igbo communities. Igbos fought other Igbos, just like Yorubas fought other Yorubas. These Igbo clans that were victorious sold them to the Ijaws along the coast. Simple as that. Do not try to change history TewMuch. They are kicking your arse in your own turf. And they did not violate us in Biafra. Some of them fought on behalf of Biafra, however they did betray us. And you see what is happening to their region now. Asari Dokubo a name you should know father supported Biafra. Yorubas stop running and fight them. A minority will conquer you. Ha ha ha! |
Ileke-IdI:You still dey yarn nonsense. I keep on telling you to provide us with sources, showing the Ijaws fighting their cousins the Igbos. You have yet to do so, which means you have no proof. Ijaws know who the masters of the East. But I guess they don't think the Yoruba are the masters of the West. Now they are claiming Lagos! ![]() |
Onlytruth:I was thinking the same as well. Whoever can control the Ijaws have a very potent fighting force. Maybe we should help our brothers in the creeks. Many of them have Igbo blood running in their veins. Asari Dokubo did extend the olive branch to us and asked for our help. |
Yorubas hate the Igbo so much, they will even bring us up in a thread that has nothing to do with us. Now Ijaw = Igbo to them. Both names begin with "I" and they both come from the East of Yorubaland so they must be Igbo. I am dying of laughter. |
These Yoruba posters are talking about some fictional attack by Fulani herdsmen in Enugu that is supposed to happen, yet they do nothing about an actual attack in their people's land, and the subsequent kidnapping of one of their kings. Have these people no shame? |
jason123:I don't know why you are laughing. The Ijaws already kicked your people's arse. And OPC did not even come to your rescue. Maybe you should look to the Igbos in Delta state for help, because the Urhobos also helped the Ijaws. |
ndu_chuks is one dangerous man. lol How many languages does this man speak? Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and maybe Fulani. |
Ileke-IdI:You give us too much credit o! See your conspiracy theories. You are starting to sound like an Ijaw person. Are you trying to tell me that the Igbos are using the Ijaws as a proxy to handle our conflicts with the other majorities? Soon the some of the Yoruba posters on Nairaland will be blaming the Igbos for using the Middle Belt people as proxy against the Hausa-Fulani. ![]() |

. We Nigerians know them, its only the outsiders that would actually think they (igbos) are brave
