Enough of these blame games. I can bet you that the notoriety of fans in such act does not limit to the north.
It can happen to any derby in the south. Let's stop these blame games and face the reality.
With the preponderance of evidence here, I think the home team should be blamed for letting such own goal.

Nice to see Enyimba back to the continent. It is not easy to be playing away from home and yet finishing 3rd.
Watch out for next season. Enyimba will rule again. As for the CAF confederation cup, I pity Enyimba's opponents because a crocodile belongs to the sea and not the lakes.
Just tell me where those small fishes will hide when they will be preyed on.
Career / Re: Mass Retrenchment In My Place Of Work; Am I Safe? by Ezi39: 1:33pm On Sep 10, 2017
It is inexcusable that such a glaring error found its way past the scrutiny of the poster. His exasperated comments suggested that he wrote it under trauma but that does not have anything to do with a glaring error like this.
The critics here are truly objectionable because a teacher who is making such a glaring mistake can cause havoc to the future leaders.
In another poor defence, the poster responded by saying that he perused a career in Mathematics. The excuse is not tenable because writing in English is not an exclusive preserve of those that majored in English. It is an "all comers" affair just as politics is not an exclusive preserve of those that majored in Political Science.
I would have kept my censorious thought of the post, the poster's being provoked by those who are correcting him made me to add voice to this.
I am also a teacher and I know the difference between writings that are rife with errors as a result of ignorance and the one that is written as a result of having little or no knowledge of grammar rules.
Religion / Re: Should A Woman Call It A Quit Because Of Interdenominational Clash? by Ezi39: 6:56pm On Sep 09, 2017
Rebekkah:
Christians should never divorce. The only grounds for divorce or separation God stipulated was Infidelity.

She's blaspheming against the Holy Spirit by saying she was given ministration to move out of her holy matrimony; a covenant only breakable by God!

Timothy was raised by an ungodly Greek dad and a christian mum. see what he did for his generation. many of us have parents with different religious beliefs! With mutual understanding each can pursue their different goals. this race is personal. Religion should not be the basis in any marriage. The foundation of marriage is Love & respect. God is Love!

She should return and be submissive to her spouse before she spends eternity in burning sulphur!

Meet a man of God for counseling. Both must come to a mutual agreement

I was shocked when I heard her say that she packed based on the instruction of the Holy Spirit.

I have heard from the two and the husband's complaint is nothing else that the woman should quit that particular church. Also that the father-in-law has been poking nose into their affairs thus trying to make him sequacious.
Religion / Re: Should A Woman Call It A Quit Because Of Interdenominational Clash? by Ezi39: 3:21pm On Sep 08, 2017
Hier:
The Holy Ghost through Paul said submit, through Peter submit said the same thing. Why marry someone you won't submit to?

Submit means his authority is final and you do things his way except you agree or otherwise

The woman said that her packing was due to the direction of the Holy Spirit.

They were both in one of the orthodox churches when they married but the woman later changed to pentecostal.
That is how the whole thing started
Religion / Should A Woman Call It A Quit Because Of Interdenominational Clash? by Ezi39: 1:12pm On Sep 08, 2017
To my fellow christians, a woman recently packed out of the husband's house. The marriage crashed as a result of interdenominational clash.
QUESTION:
1. Was she right to pack?
2. What is your advice to the two?
3. Is it biblical for a woman or a man to call marriage a quit?

Education / Re: What Is The Difference Between B.sc Degree And B.sc (Hons) Degree? by Ezi39: 5:51pm On Sep 04, 2017
OTAIFOHJ:
The difference is clear...

"Bsc(Hons)" is only for graduands who completed their studies without carryover while 'Bsc' is for graduands who got extra year because of carryover and must have probably gotten lots of carryover in their previous work.

In the same vein, "Bsc(Hons)" is also for exceptional students who graduated with excellent grades...One who graduated with pass might likely not get (hons).

You are misleading the public

Charkin is a cool place. Especially for BOSIET/HUET and Seamanship/Seafarers courses.

I would recommend three things though:

1. Ensure they improve the attitude of some of their staff. Especially the receptionists at the accommodation blocks.

2. They need a place for recreation urgently. Especially, recreational swimming and a gym.

3. Wi-Fi. They need a good one. Through out the duration of my BOSIET refresher, it never worked. The kind of customers they get are the ones that can't do without Wi-Fi. The moment we check into anywhere, it is Wi-Fi to send mails and stuff.

I had dropped these in their suggestion box. I hope they take heed. They should ask Falk Prime about it's lost glory.

I recently applied to lecture there. Please how do you see the place in terms of service to lectures?

does anyone here know how those schools operate? what are my chances of working with them? i only have a degree in education and some experiences. what do you think these schools require of their teachers? what are the things i should expect at their interviews and tests?
Your having degree in education is a sure way to get the job. Also IGCSE and TRCN is needed in some cases to get the job especially those ones in Lagos island.

Can you people stop playing politics with the future of Ebonyi youths. So upon all the call by Ebonyi indigenes both on social media to stop this loan Dave is still bent on borrowing this huge amount of money just to build a ring road.
Why has your governor refused to disclose how this loan will be repayed, why borrowing from an islamic bank, does Dave actually know the implication of borrowing such money from islam that have been trying to build the biggest islamic school in Ebonyi which has been constantly rejected by ebonyians.
Right inside your heart do you actually believe Dave wants to build a ring road, even the amount he is budgeting for this ring road is double compare to what last administration budgeted for it.
What happens to ndibe beach bridge in Afikpo that will link ebonyi to cross river and other investment that will help to improve the economy of the state, is ring road our major priority? recently the state house of assembly approved a whooping 2.5bill for the building of ecumenical centre in abakaliki which rose questions from all and sundry on the importance of the project to the masses who are living in penury.
Umahi has proven to be a lazy governor who only thinks about borrow no matter where its coming from, is he trying to osunize ebonyi state, even if he must borrow to develop ebonyi like he claimed why borrow such amount of money for a ring road, what happens to ndide beach bridge, investing in industry, completion of the international marke n international trade center, building and renovation of our public schools n hospitals which many of them are in sorry state...
No matter how he tries only him can not develop ebonyi, there is always a next administration.
Ebonyians say no to further loan
Ebonyians say no to islamic loan
Ebonyians say no to misplaced priority projects.

We will continue to kick against this move by Dave to plunge us into loan n mortgage our future.
We all know the crowd you are talking about were a rented crowd, unless you are not from ebonyi state will you not know what Dave is capable of doing.

NB i am a fan of Dave but i dont agree with him on this loan issue even the ecumenical centre was a misplaced priority.

Jobs/Vacancies / A Call For Protest. by Ezi39: 10:02am On Aug 29, 2017
Fellow Nigerians, if you graduated after 30 years, you can bear me witness that getting employment is a difficult task. While many have got by falsification of age, those who quibble on moral ground are yet to get it.
This is a double standard that has not been given attention for a very long time. I am writing this because I am a victim.
It is on this note that I am calling on concerned Nigerians to muster so we will go and occupy the National Assembly until the law makers give it a nod.
There is nothing wrong in employing a thirty something and even a forty-something-year old man. After all they have their mates who are already working in the same place that they are being denied work.
What really matters is the individual ability to work. Fellow Nigerians, I am using this medium to muster people so that we will go and protest for this age discrimination in Nigeria.
As we all know the only impetus needed to get our leaders to quickly do things right is protests and strike.
Wake up and join me in this because many are dying in silence because of frustration of their inability to secure job after graduation because of the age barrier placed by most job employers.
There is a growing consensus that the situation is dire-and looking bleaker everyday. There is nothing wrong with a forty-year old man working and retiring at sixty. After all he is the one that will not have a long reign like his colleagues that started at a younger age.
Please help syndicate this to nairaland website so we can get plurality of opinions on how to storm NASS the next few days.
