For those aspiring to be lecturer with even first degree. Though it depends on your course.

Please who knows about the university? Even as a Lagos resident, I'd like to apply and also don't mind to relocate if considered.
Any PH guy in the house to tell me more of the campus?
Religion / Re: Why Some Born-again Ladies Are Finding Difficulties To Get Married by Ezi39: 8:17pm On Aug 27, 2017
There is this restriction placed for young guys that are living in one room. Most pentecostal churches don't allow guys living in one room to marry until they make it room and parlour.
It is one of those things that is pursuing guys that cannot afford it away from marrying.
Romance / Re: How To Get Married On A 20k Salary! by Ezi39: 8:58pm On Aug 22, 2017
Let us be realistic. N20K a month cannot sustain a family of two not to talk of the one that has produced children.
Even the government that is paying N18k minimum wage knows it but loathe to admit it.
I am presently living above N20K and yet cannot cope. Despite the case that I am a single guy who does not smoke, drink, or womanise.

Education / Re: Mum Invades School With Thugs In Abeokuta, Beats Up Teachers For Caning Child by Ezi39: 7:04am On Jul 25, 2017
Olisa Metu once did so and he had since received a national disgrace for it. Teachers are not meant to be dealt with when they carry out discipline. Even the Bible says "spare the rod and spoil the child. "
I have witnessed many harassment of teachers by some parents and it did not end well with those children. This should serve as another lesson for those that are yet to give teachers the honour they deserve.
It is only those teachers that are harassing students sexually that deserve ill treatment.

Business / Re: My Experience With A Flea Market Vendor In Ladipo Market by Ezi39: 1:31pm On Jun 24, 2017
Next time he will keep off when he sees me. He used casuistry in an attempt to convince but he met his match. If you don't want them to to besiege you with offers, continue walking when they want to move in front of you.
Just tell me how someone will be making N1,000 or more from customers and he calls it an ideal business. It is not justified at all.
Business / My Experience With A Flea Market Vendor In Ladipo Market by Ezi39: 11:49am On Jun 24, 2017
As usual, the boy came swarming around me like a bee. When the realisation hit me that he was out to cause inflation, I became careful and complied with him. This I did for him not to notice my plan.
Soon we entered a shop and he asked the dealer how much he was selling the electronics I wanted to buy. The moment the dealer quoted the price, the flea market vendor asked me to bargain it. I knowingly came down in order to upset the dealer. At that juncture, the flea market vendor favoured me with a sign.
We walked out only for him to persuade me to buy the electronics. Knowing that he was out for inflation in order for him to collect whatever that added to the the marked price, I staged a walkout and he followed me.
At a stage, I dislodged him and went to another shop that was just very close to the one he led me to. Guess what! I bought the same electronics at exactly what I bargained!
The realisation shocked me into silence when I figured out that the flea market vendor would have made a cool N1,000 from me!
This is a boy that accosted me on the pretence of helping me. He told me all kinds of stories about fake goods in that market and how some dealers are selling some fake goods. He assured me that he would help me get a better electronic.
What really surprised me was how the dealer let me walked out even after bargaining to the marked price. Is this not causing 'bad market' for him? How can a dealer let his customer leave just because a flea market vendor want to make money. This is foolishness.

Education / Opinion: These Are The Category Of Protesters Against TRCN by Ezi39: 3:43pm On Jun 19, 2017
TRCN stands for Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria.
1. Some Private School Owners: There are many mushroom schools especially in Lagos. The proprietors of these schools are only after anybody that can accept their peanuts. Such proprietors are among the people that are kicking after the 2018 deadline that has been set by the professional body.
Such proprietors don't believe in professional. They believe that anybody can teach and as such they employ based on who bargain less with them. After all those who police external exams are not immune to bribery so they can always capitalise on them and justify their employment of quack teachers.
This same set of proprietors are not happy on the technological development that exam bodies are upgrading to because they will be no room for cheating during exam if WAEC and NECO apply the same JAMB technique.

2: The Non Certified Teacher: These are the second group of people that do not want TRCN. It is akin to showing them the exit so this is why they are protesting against the 2018 deadline. They are in many private schools and they hardly search for another job because they will not be considered.
So if you know of a teacher in a private school that is not paying much and the teacher does not want to leave, the teacher may be one example.

3: The Born Teachers: Unlike the number two above, teachers in this category are qualified because they have their certificate. But one thing you should know is that teaching is an exclusive preserve of those that have NCE and B.Ed. Any teacher without this certificate is a dabbler in the profession.
So some of them don't want to comply with the directive of the TRCN management which is directing the to enrol for an additional one year programme and get the requisite knowledge (teaching methodology).
This set of teachers are found in both public and private schools. They are are also scattered in the higher institutions. Their protest is that they have the requisite qualifications but they have failed to understand that they are not exposed to teaching methodology. They are dabblers.

TRCN stands for Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria. The body was implemented to curb quackery in Nigerian schools. The much ado about it in our national discourse is as a result of the following:
1. Some Private School Owners: There are many mushroom schools especially in Lagos. The proprietors of these schools are only after anybody that can accept their peanuts. Such proprietors are among the people that are kicking after the 2018 deadline that has been set by the professional body.

Sports / What Is In Nigerian League? by Ezi39: 1:05pm On Jun 11, 2017
If you are following Nigerian league you'll bear me witness that there are no top clubs neither do we have juggernaut that can go unbeaten in a relegation threatened home.
It is always win at home and lose away. Though there are few away wins and sometimes draw but they don't come easily.
What do you think is responsible for this lackluster performance of club sides in Nigeria? Is it because we are a football nation that everybody knows it or what do you think is responsible for some high profile clubs not picking away points in even away that is home for a relegation threatened club?

Education / My Advice To Admission Seekers Who Are Hoping To Work With Their Certificate by Ezi39: 5:44pm On Jun 01, 2017
Having graduated university some years back and still remain unemployed, I have the following advice for those who are hoping to work with their certificate in Nigeria:

1. AGE: There's age discrimination in Nigeria so before you consider that admission make you are within the age range of 16 to 19 years. This is because most employer of labour are now after fresh graduate that are not more than 24 years of age.
Even if there state the number of years of experience they still place that age hurdle.

2. GRADE: Insist on finishing as a first class graduate but if not possible go for Second class higher or upper credit. This is because most employers of labour are after grade. They don't care whether it was obtained by the one we call 'sorting' or it was obtained through cheating. Ask those brilliant graduates that finished with second class lower credit they will tell you more.

3. PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE: This is another hurdle facing job seekers in Nigeria. The earlier you join your professional body the better for you. Make sure you obtain it upon graduating to make it easier for you. Example is COREN for engineers, TRCN for teachers., etc.

4. COURSE OF STUDY: No course is more important than another but some will fetch you job faster while some will delay your getting job offers. In fact the whole thing epitomises the proverbial quote in Animal Farm that "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others. "

5. CHOICE OF INSTITUTION: Where you graduated can affect your job search. Also some schools can delay when it comes to issuing certificate. Your certificate must be intact for you to secure a well paid job. So Insist on school that don't delay when it comes to issuing certificate. Finally avoid school that is prone to crisis which always result to strike.
These are the basic requirements that are for those seeking the right ways. The remaining ones sound bizarre but are also the factors that are considered before you'll be landed some jobs.
