Thanks for this information. Do you have any idea how much this induction fee might be? Planning on registering next week and would like to be prepared. Thanks
It depends on your qualification. For first degree holders, everything is around N9,000. I paid a thousand Naira for induction when it was N6,000. Almost half a decade ago.

Hello people. Good evening. Please I would like teachers who registered with TRCN recently to kindly give me a rundown of the procedure and requirements for the registration. Also, how long does it take to get the certificate? Kindly help me out. Thanks
It depends on where you register it. The whole thing is being processed in Abuja after the registration.
It takes not less than six months to be processed. Also sometimes there may be delay that can prolong it to even two years.
The good news is that once registered, you will be issued a receipt that will cover you until it will be issued.
You will also pay for induction.
Requirements include your credentials and a passport photograph. Thereafter, you'll be given a form to fill your academic profile in chronological order. Lastly, a referee will be needed also in the form you'll fill.
The headquarter is in Iyana Ipaja for those in Lagos

APC is foolish to have used this blacksheep to gain popularity.

He betrayed his dad when he was still alive.
So I am not surprised.

He is a traitor,
A mistake of birth; Ojukwu disowned him severally.
This fool does not even command the respect of his immediate family let alone Anambra state.

I'm happy for him sha,
This is an avenue for him to enrichen himself.

Even with your praises, NUC still rank other universities ahead of UNILAG. This is to say that those criterion are not enough to take UNILAG to where you place it.
The perfidy in which Lagos schools engage in order to help students pass exam is enough to rank Lagos schools low.
I came to Lagos to witness a corporate cheating in public exams. Since then, I'm looking at the certificate of anybody that graduated in Lagos schools with askance. UNILAG is not exempted.

Investment / Have You Ever Been Considered Rich And Yet You Don't Have? by Ezi39: 2:51pm On Nov 02, 2017
Growing up as a 'big' boy, and later made it to one of the big towns in Nigeria has made many, especially, those that I grew up with, to consider me rich.
This is even when I don't have car, investments, etc. to show. Each time, I travelled to my village, they are always some people swarming around me like a bee.
Guess what! They are always inundating me with financial request. At a time, I asked myself how those that have made it, are coping with such people.
They are importunate in nature and only care for that money that they did not work for. What a cascade of problem that rich men face everyday!
Folks, share your experience.

Romance / Re: My Girl's Strange Behaviour At Different Times Of The Month by Ezi39: 6:03am On Oct 31, 2017
I have one that has constantly behaved strange. She has never told me her stance clearly. Though she had never visited me, she always likes me to be the one that will come over.
She stayed in her sister's place before packing to her brother's place. I have been to the two places. The last time she kept me off was when I intervened on their family crisis. After two years, she has welcomed me back. Since then I've never tried settling their family matters to avoid a repeat of what happened before.
I have been advised to leave her and find someone else but I can't just heed to such advice because I love her and wish she reciprocate.
I am not a flirting type and as such, I did not waste time to propose my candid opinion of marital prospect to her.
Still unable to secure job, she has been using that to give excuse, but accepted that she would follow me for introduction when I'm ready. My fear is that the job is not forth coming, and I don't know if she really loves me.
Who is this girl please?

Romance / Re: Ladies, Can You Get Married To A Non Degree Holder? by Ezi39: 10:46am On Oct 26, 2017
Whilst some posts make some valid points here, they miss some key points. Non degree holders nescience of current will always cause them to not know the savoir-faire needed in most occasion.
I have a friend that married one, and he is always seeking advice from me in order to know most activities of the wife. He is stumped on how to control the wife because the wife is ahead of him educationally.
Even his authoritative presence does not solve the problem because there are things that the wife must decide for him. Sometimes the wife will manipulate him by using casuistry to conceal her real motives.
I adjure guys not to take interest in women that is not at par with them in education. Imagine my guy is now submerged by feeling of dubiety.
For me, it seems to have a double standard when it comes to a non degree holder guy marrying a degree holder lady. May be it should be better the other way round.
Romance / Re: Ladies, Can You Get Married To A Non Degree Holder? by Ezi39: 7:20am On Oct 26, 2017
One problem with marriage of this kind is the difficulty the girl will face in making the husband's people believe that she's not the one in control. The husband's people always believe that their son's power is illusory because those who have degree are said to be knowledgeable.
I have a friend that married a HND holder, and she is facing the problem I stated above. So it's for the girl's good to go for someone that is at par with her in education, when it comes to marriage.
I kept hearing from my friend's family members that the girl inveigled him into marrying her so she would be the one in control.

These folks you are calling up and down are in a civilized society, they are in developed country where they learn worthy skills without a degree and are very fluent in English, the non degree holders here mostly can't even make a correct sentence, most of them. So I wouldn't want to be in a situation where I will keep correcting someone's grammatical errors and blunders, thereby making me feel embarrassed and ruining my image which means a lot to me. Also why I said our thinking level won't be the same is because most of these non-degree holders perceive you as acting or feeling big because you have a degree and they don't, I don't know if you are getting my point, you can't give him your opinion or advice as a husband without him saying "Is it because I didn't go to school" or reminding you of him not being a graduate, there is this inferiority complex they carry around , I'm not cut out for that shiit.

Also I never made mention of one having a degree will make him automatically smart, going to school or being in school is a guide not really what makes you smart.
Point!

a guy was introduced to me sometime ago that he needs help with a job.
As God will have it ,I was able to link him up with one. He was accepted and told to come for a meeting{not even interview} as he was from me and i know the employer personally.

This is the annoying part, The meeting was scheduled for 10am. My Employer called me by 11:15am and complained that he is yet to see the guy that was supposed to be offered the job. He then later called and said the guy just called around few mins to 12pm saying he is on his way..."imagine". 12pm for a meeting slated for 10am. and evenso as d employer said, its not that he is even there yet ,he said he is on his way. My friend said he told him not to bother anymore.

The guy (unemployed guy) later called me saying they told him that he shouldnt bother agin after telling him to come yesterday.. He was trying to tell me to help attend to the matter..

I was annoyed and asked him was he late??...and you know what the "yeye" guy said

He said "u know one cant cheat nature". meaning he slept off.. Imagine ,,jobless for over five months if not more and you finally get a break and your lame excuse is "sleep' ..If that was what i did you darn well will not have me to even consider asking to help out. I sent him a strong worded text message. and told him not to bother reaching me again.
Your points are not enough to condemn a job seeker as you say here. As far as I'm concerned, if I've a better offer I'll always go for it. Who knows whether the job seeker you describe here had a better offer.
I once once told by someone to go and take up the job of Sales Executive in insurance company, but I rejected it. If the person that sent me to go there later say what you are saying now, I will not take the person to be lazy.
The truth is that the job you linked him is one of these jobs that the pay is not encouraging. Giving another job let's say in Chevron, he will prove you wrong.

Politics / Re: "Ojukwu's Lies Sparked Civil War In Nigeria" - Yakubu Gowon by Ezi39: 4:03pm On Oct 25, 2017
Gowon signed the document headlong without considering the implications. He returned home only to be told that what he signed cannot favour the people of the north. They were congruous in their decision to adopt that Aburi accord, but Gowon reneged on that promise.
This singular act will forever hunt Gowon. His days may be long because sentencing an evil one takes a long time. It is now left for him to repent and do the needful.
He should be ashame that his nescience of events in Aburi caused a
civil war that reached a vitriolic level, killing over three million nationwide.
He is suppose to be issuing a mea culpa now. The dauntless late Ojukwu will be forever be remembered no matter the lies Gowon tells.
Gowon should know that he and the core northerners were allies in that war, but since their friendship has turned to mistrust when that war ended.

gidgiddy:

Its possible for an NCO to be promoted to the officer corps. Ironsi, Ademulegun and Philip Effiong were all NCO's before becoming officers. However, a lot of consideration has to go into it such as the age, intelligence and experience. An NCO has to pass officer exam, go for officer course and must be usually younger than 40.

This giy was just promoted and given a commission just like that.

I wonder if his name had been Emeka Chukwu, they would have rushed to promote him in the same way?

Buhari, OBJ, IBB all enter Nigerian Army with school cert but ended up in General cadre. But when today youth join with same qualification he would be lucky to get Sergeant in 30years. These leaders have really messed up with the lives of our youths
Then there was no NDA, and also no DSS enlistment those days.
These days, graduates enlistment has eclipsed such promotion.
