i have never attended such job fairs, especially in china, totally waste of time. too many irrelavent applicants, insolent and stupid company representatives, jobs with pittance.

they treat you like a precarious dog.

anyway, all famous companies are not seriously looking for recruits, they attend for the purpose of advertising their companies.
Well, I didnot know the ones you attended, but the one I attended, the representative were courteous.

Job fair is not really a place to advertise product rather trade fair as they know that people looking for job most likely cannot afford the products especially high value product.

What I can agree is that some of the companies came to look for marketers for their products and services in respective countries. And that is still a job if you are interested in sales role.

Ofcourse it is not easy to get especially without good command of Chinese. Those I know that got the job offer are proficient in Chinese language.

Nonsense.
Hello,
I think it will be more appropriate to create a thread for this your comparison.
Please and thank you.

Keep the application and contacting potential supervisor rolling in.

Time waits for no one.

Some schools even have December as deadline.
So hurry!

Hello everyone,
Away from all the unnecessary arguments.

I attended a job fair( infact two) these past weeks.
It was nice. Some of the companies are even recruiting permanent staffs from international students not just internships.

I interacted with a couple of them. Most of them are interested in students graduating soon.

A good mastery of Chinese is definitely an advantage.
So it is not all bad.

Good day all.

Thanks for your efforts and helps on this forum.

I am thinking of applying for MSc scholarship in a suitable Chinese university. However, beyond the study time, I am thinking long term.

What are the chances of staying back in China for employment after my study?

Your helps in responses would be greatly appreciated.
It is possible. Not guaranteed though

so , how is your days in china? are chinese people really hospitable as you first mentioned after you newly been to china ?
They are not bad.
But interaction is generally limited with foreigners because of language barrier. But if you can break through the language most are fair.

Boss please I will like to enquire, Between Study plan and research proposal which is more preferable for Chinese Government Scholarship??

Also when filling CGS form online in CGS website, how many years of study should we include?? 2 or 3??

Because I know 1 year is for Chinese language preparatory.
You just need a statement of purpose i.e. why you want to study the course and why do u need CSC.

Number of years specified by the university you are applying to.

Hello FA13. I've been silently observing and finally I have a question again. Concerning the transcript, how do I go about it? I apologize if this question has been answered before now. For instance, the university I graduated, if you apply for transcript, they'll send it straight to the school you're interested in. How then will I be able to notarize the transcript? And also, there's the fact that I need to attach it to the other documents I'll be applying with.
Now, there is the option of student copy of transcript which I can apply for and do all the necessities but will the school recognize it and accept it?
Thanks FA13. I'll appreciate it if anyone else that can help out with a reply does. Thanks everyone.
Yes.
They will recognize the student copy.

Hello everyone. I applied and got admitted to a Chinese university for masters programme with CSC funding. During application process, information was just very sparse. I had to glean the internet to get the needed information which wasn't that easy.

I summarized my application process and know it will be useful for vast majority of people that will be applying for upcoming admission cycle.

Hello here,

Now to Academics talk.
Well the Chinese take studying serious : cheesy. Nevertheless if you have a good background here, you will thrive.

As they dont really have any religious or serious social commitment, studying is main thing for Chinese students and classes do run till like 9pm including Saturday if need be.

Their love for white cars here is something else. May be because there are no dust on the roads to make the cars dirty often. Popular brands range from Volkswagen, Mercedes, Hyundai, Nissan to their locally made brands like BYC.
Toyota is not so common as we have plethora of it in Nigeria. I have not seen any Toyota Hiace bus here. Few Prado exists though.
