NiklausAkins: You have to use a federal/state clinic. The whole tests and fee should be about 15k-20k(Hiv,syphillis,xray etc) Ecg and Xray are the two most expensive test. But if you know someone in hospital, they'll help you cut cost and you will end up paying about half.
Did my own in Stat Hospital Akure. Thanks for the answer. But all those HIv, Syphilis and co. is it important? Are u going to attach it yo the form? |

I was like, "is it that they are not seeing my application?" I just turned off my data and slept off. So i woke up yesterday morning and turned on my data only to receive two emails from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute that i have been admitted for their PhD in Chemical Engineering with full mouth watery funding. Am super excited about the offer! But i am still waiting for Ga Tech and Minnesota so i will just wait. Fall2019, we're going somewhere. Congrats... |

StupidInyamiri: The fact that #Atiku is been considered alternative to #Buhari shows we've a serious problem in this country. You can't wish better Nigeria then go back to same people that put us in that mess despite seeing an obvious progress in Rail, pension payments, food sufficiency etc sad! I agree with you that we have more qualified people in this country than Atiku and Buhari. But for you to say we have food sufficiency during this regime shows something is wrong with you. For me any alternative to him is a welcomed development. Be reasonable. It has never been this bad. |

Back then in school people sit close to me to copy my work during exam and I let them as long as u don't distract me while writing. No harm in helping pls. These exams have cut off marks m if u don't make it, u should not stop others from making it too. About the difficulty in the tests by dragnet, truly what they do in trying to make the test difficult will even endear more clients to them. Common fellas, thousands who met the academic qualifications applied for this jobs. The recruitment will be very tidious to these companies if most people pass their test as they only need less than 1% in most cases. Passing these tests requires smartness, swiftness in problem solving and resilience to pressure which are things needed for a work environment too. If u feel u can't handle dragnet then don't border writing. Even McKinsey PST which is the world most difficult test still has thousands applying yearly despite only less than 0.01% passing them. It should also be stated, what ASUU is demanding is an unfulfilled commitment of the PDP. As it stands now, the Buhari's administration has made concessions on their demands. It is unfair for ASUU to go into negotiations stiff necked and refuse to find a common grounds.
Students are suffering and now ASUU is holding our Democracy hostage. You guys can not just see truth and say it. Always partisan, blaming PDP up and down. domex007: hi guys
i have been a nairaland follower since 2013.
i am sorry my testimony is coming late. i hope it helps raise the hope of nigerian youths seeking greener pastures here.
i have been denied USA student visa in 2013, 2014 and 2015 i then turned my dreams to canada (paid my school fees in full and was still denied student visa in 2016 after waiting over 3months) at this point my money was almost finished and my family started advising me to start studies here in nigeria
i enrolled for yaba tech part time program while i also chased my travel dreams in Germany. i was also denied visa to germany because i couldn't raise the 8,800 euro blocked account.
at this point, i was frustrated and desperate, but the work load from yabatech and my business kept me from depression.
immediately, after my graduation in Yaba i decided to give USA one last trial knowing fully well that i will be denied but i kept on pushing forward
my interview went thus: first, my interview was for 6;30 13th august 2018 but for the first time i got to the embassy very late and i was not scared or nervous. it rained heavily that day and the rain no pity me at all. i just protected my documents and went it. i was very cold and feeling sick. i just wanted to do my interview and leave. i was bending down to make my self warm and was almost sleeping before the person behind me told me that it was my turn.
My interview was very long.........
my interview: (a Beautiful black american woman): VO: Hi there. are you okay? Me; Hi. yes i am fine. i am just cold. with fake smile on my face. VO: oh okay why are you going to the USA? Me; for my undergrad studies in Business Administration and management VO: when did you finish high school? Me; 2012 VO; what have you been doing since: Me; I went for a computer diploma program for a year. then i started applying to Universities in US, Canada, Germany and Nigeria. Things didnt go as planned with the Abroad studies so i went for my National diploma in yaba that took me 4years. VO: Why did you choose to continue studies in US? why not nigeria? me: the educational system in nigeria is really poor even though it is affordable to study in nigeria. my program for example is suppose to be a program of 2 years but due to the strike and poor educational amenities it will take me longer time to graduate here in Nigerian university. And i believe in the proverb; "what is what doing is what doing well"
I also thank all Nairaland members especially Amefrica, Gravinton, Stewee, Kunlebal, Walspring, even Justwise as i Welcome myself to AMERICA Congrats. Victory at last. |

HigherEd: Rubbish! Stupid school! You just made life a little bit harder for them. If they apply for competitive scholarships in the UK with their counterparts from Covenant who got awarded first class in the same English department, they would lose out because you chose to deprive them of what they deserve and could easily have helped them triumph over any competition for jobs.
If public schools continue in this manner then they would soon discover they have the monopoly on producing poverty stricken graduates. Oga keep quiet. Candidates are accessed based on many factors. The department might have done something wrong, it will not stop them from getting whatever they want. All students that I know that get accepted into ivy league schools, non is from Covenant. |

If PMB was not too soft on opposition, only if he had decided to pay PDP back in their own coin, Osun would have been won somehow by APC.
