Germans or white are considered for ALL jobs first!
Being in the system doesn't mean you know the system very well
Do you think the engineers and doctors don't face language problem toohuh Or even programmers.
Don't come here with bad energy
You are very wrong saying history, politics, or America studies graduates cant get a job here. You are 100% wrong
princejck:
You just prove my point, from ur list it’s hard for foreigners to get jobs with those professions...I am in the system and I know.

Germans or white re consider first for such jobs than blacks believe it or not...

Secondly your language must be top which is very difficult.

Don’t follow this guy he doesn’t know what he is talking

The reality is different from what u see online
TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Fabcol(m): 9:53am On Jan 29, 2020
Lol
I can imagine what your thoughts are about American studies.. read the content of a course before making judgement, don't judge a course based on how the name sounds, cause 100% sure that's what you are doing.
American studies is an interdisciplinary degree, combining history, politics, literature and the arts
Now what can one do with this degree, I would list a few
*A Writer
*A Boardcast journalist
*A public relations officer
*Translators
*A TEACHER
*Editors of all kinds of media
*Customer relations and investor relations managers for companies,
*human resources
*Administration work
*Research assistants
And the list goes on

Bro/sis, every single degree taught in Germany can land you a job if you know what you are doing and can speak the language to a good extent. Everyone wouldn't/can't become an engineer or an economist or a doctor

princejck:
I accept students shouldn’t study what they don’t like or just for making money in the future. But I disagree when u said every course has job opportunities, especially for foreigners....tell me where some who study North American Studies will work in Germany.

Areas to find better opportunities re

Engineering ( One must be very good intellectually especially with maths and physics) here ur broken German will do as long as u good with what u re doing.

Wirtschaftswissenschaft ( Economics), u need very good German skill

Sozialwissenschaften( example Nursing, working with Amt, medical departments and public relations, hotels etc) here u need a very good German skill in writing and speaking

Courses like history, language, politics don’t bother wasting ur time

TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Fabcol(m): 5:40am On Jan 29, 2020
Every single course done in a German University has job opportunities in Germany.
So apply for something you have passion for and you are sure you can study. Alot are quitting and being exmatriculated because they chose what people said would give them job after studies and not what they love and can study . Moreover its even very difficult to get admission/visa if the course isn't related to your bachelors
Getting a job in Germany is majorly dependent on your proficiency in the Language. Also learn a programming tool used in that field and you are good to go
spacofadan:
My question is really brief. Pls can somebody tell me few courses one can read that have job opportunities in Germany after M.Sc

NECO is 100% accepted
ERCROSS:
Please, who knows if one can use NECO for HZB ( higher education entrance QUALIFICATION) rather than WAEC.

Not at all
I just went to see how siegen is and see some palz
Bamstar007:
I thought people just move to their preferred destination... is there any form of process now because I’m heading to a different place from where I got my visa
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Fabcol(m): 6:19pm On Sep 08, 2019
So guys, it has really been a wonderful, fun one week in Germany(from moving out of siegen where my Visa was processed to paderborn, getting accommodation in a miraculous way, activating my hostel fire alarm while learning how to cook stew via video call from a wonderful princess here cheesy, teaching my flat mates our pigin English in exchange for German lessons, etc.). Settling hasn't been easy but we thank God. Once free I would drop my little experience and advise to incomings and as usual answer as much questions as I can. To every hopeful, please!! don't give up. The system works here. To summer applicants, fire on! It's worth it

Reporting from paderborn cool!!

vivianobas:
My dear wonderful family, my package finally arrived yesterday evening via DHL.

My special thanks goes to God Almighty for his unending love and faithfulness.

My testimony will not be complete if I don't mention all those who walked with me on this journey. Heybaby my sister from another mother, Fabcol who was always willing to help and advice me. Ahmed who funded my block account and restored my trust in humanity/ Nigerians. Stateboy8080 who was ever willing to render a helping hand plus all the numerous Nairalanders who shared in my joy, pain and confusion. Your collective selflessness has made this group the envy of all.

For everyone waiting for AD, AM and Visum at this point, I pray that God Almighty will perfect everything that concerns each and everyone of you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Special greetings to everyone who sacrifices time to respond to queries endlessly. May God bless you all.

Handwritten was clearly stated on the checklist(A4 is preferable).
The number of pages doesn't matter. Just make sure whatever you write makes sense
tejaf05:
Hello,

Does the letter of motivation needs to be hand-written on an A4 paper or you can type it and print it out. I'm a little confused. Also, how long should it be? Thanks.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Fabcol(m): 12:42pm On Aug 17, 2019

anthonanik:
Please Gurus in the house I salute you all.

Please help me out with the format.. Please great family
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Fabcol(m): 8:39am On Aug 17, 2019
1) depends on the courier you are using. DHL is around 18-26k(very realiable), FEDEX is around 14-17k(realiable too), TNT, Aramex are like 10-13k and has good reviews, Nipost has cheap options (as low as 2k) but at senders risk
2.)all public Universities in Germany except schools in Baden-Württemberg(who charge as low as 1500euro per semester) offers free tuition
Go through daad.de and search for schools, ensure you use the advanced search option and choose 0 tuition
jkzie:
Good morning Great Minds,
Please, I really need clarification on 2 spot;
1). How much does it cost to send documents to Germany?
2). How can I know i have been given scholarship (tuition free) by my prospective school?

Thanks.
