They would ask for it 4-8weeks after your interview if successful 4-8 weeks after your interview, if successful, you would receive a mail(AM) asking you to forward your international passport and travel health insurance. Boss733: Anybody please reply. Why are they not collecting the international passport original booklet at the embassy during interview? Or when will they ask for it. |

Well the booking portal is still working perfectly, so just book and be hopeful, if u v booked already then commit it all to God and hope for the best. Embassy does this almost every winter and still release dates Anuch: Good day all. I will like to know what the embassy is saying about AD. Are they saying they no longer give dates to new bookings or to both ppl that have booked earlier and to those intending to book. |

I read that some people booked last week and used Nov 1 as start dates and they got dates for Sept 23. Should I cancle and rebook? My enrolment period is Sept 13, but could be extended to October 30. Please help a brother out.

It takes 4-8weeks generally(could be more could be less). A lot of factors could result to getting your visa late and also getting it Earlier I know someone going to Hamburg that has gotten AM already and someone going to same Hamburg that has been waiting for over two months now. You can't predict exactly how long cause a lot of factors are involved. Just work with the general period (4-8weeks) okechukwujames6: Guys please is there anyone here who can shed some lights on how long it takes to process the visa after interview for someone going to Hamburg, just want to have an idea cos of deadline wahalla. Please help to answer if you can. |

You are on track.. Start serious prayers on getting appointment date. I noticed hamm enrollment deadline is August(and I guess thats what u used as start of study when booking) if u miss getting date this July then.... vickmor002: Good morning my people, my people. Please I need your urgent advice, I got my AL from the university of applied science, Hamm Lippstadt, Bsc. I quickly applied for visa appointment under category A, owning to the fact that I already have my 1st degree with 2nd class upper. Please, will there be any issue using category A, since am not going for masters now?
Has people excelled through this before??
I got reference no, although still planning for extension. |

Since the school already Confirmed your admission you should book for appointment ASAP. I would advise you send a mail to the school if you enrollment can be extended to Nov(then use the extended enrollment deadline as start of study while booking) If your bachelor's falls btw 1stclass to 2nd class lower, then book A if not book B Yes, you can attend your interview without funding your block account. You just go with the Transfer information document(you would get this file(PDF) after opening the block account, it contains your account details) but I would strongly advise you block your account before the interview to avoid any delay on your visa processing Letter of motivation should be handwritten neatly on an A4 paper hapiday: Hello House, Please I am new to this german student visa stuff, i have been selected for a Msc program already, now waiting for my admission letter which the university promised to send next week. the program is starting on 21st October, Please do i have to wait for the letter before boking a visa appointment ? While booking, which category should i choose - A list or B? Should my letter of motivation be typed or handwritten? Can i apply when I have not funded my Blocked account? I will appreciate very info i need to make this a success
Please I seriously need your guidiance... |

Print out the mail from the embassy confirming you can do your interview with it(just in case). Tho you wouldn't have any problem am sure.. The appointment mail ends with Paulinus. stephanie94: Good morning guys, there is an issue that is seriously bothering me. All I need is your advice.
Due to my low cgpa, I decided to channel all energy into applying to both bachelors masters courses. I got the Bsc AL first and I booked appointment for bachelors category B, and I later got a date. Now I have masters admission and I'm so excited about the course and school but I don't know if can use my Bsc AD to go for my masters AL. I asked the embassy if I can use my bachelors appointment letter for my masters interview and they told me to go ahead that I have no problem. But considering whats going on with appointment date scarcity, can there be an issue on the day of my interview even as the embassy has given me go-ahead to use the bachelors category B appointment date for my Msc interview.
Please I really your input. Cc Fabcol Chriswazo adheir deutchmann dailydolar and the rest of you guys , help give me advise that would reset my brain, I don't wanna make any costly mistake. |

Simple!! fibe: Someone suggested "we all should put calls through to the embassy, make them aware of our ordeal and tell them the possible solution to it. They should format the booking system and leave only those that have their interview in the duration of 1 week"
This is one sided. Mind you most people with AD have AL. (,correct me if I'm wrong)
For those who are canvassing for our voices to be heard. I Still feel if you have any issue contact the embassy not making plea for a public rant. Im not sure if granting visa is a fundamental human right.
People who have passed through the system are suggesting for a calm approach. I guess their period was more demanding than this. We are all under pressure but let's be rational before making decisions that will mar future prospects
My opinion. |

Also for those who have done their interview, how many days after the interview are you normally expected to hear back from the embassy regarding the status of your visa application / approval? |

I feel it's cause of the bank charges

Its not advisable to staple, paper clip is better. Oga Pauli will arrange and staple in his own way(there is a way he staples the application forms and put other documents inside).. even if you stapled other documents don't staple the application forms Philfit: Are we allowed to staple? And if we have already stalled would we be sent out? |

Use the checklist, but put the two photocopies behind its original so accessing both the original and photocopy would be easy when a document is called out For sop.. Your address on the top right, while the embassy address on the left Greatgrace19: Hello nairalanders, How do I arrange my documents when going for my interview at the German embassy.
