Nigeriayouthmov: This is the time to build the structure of labour party against 2027. If we had labour party governors in Edo and rivers State and LGA chairmen, we won't be bullied like we were in the just concluded election.
I am from Edo and I have plans to run for any office at all just to hold it for labour party and most preferably LGA chairman or state house of Assembly. Who have an idea his much the form cost and process involved. Suggestions needed urgently!!! Go to sleep jor, we must restore our mandate, we get structures already. The masses |

The fact remains that Nigeria is yet to mature for a real & outright democracy where d will of d electorates would yield results. I have come to realize that d kind of naija politics is d one which u have to be so rugged & be ready to play dirty stuffs. (The experience of GEJ as a sitting president can't be easily forgotten)
Like someone has pointed out already, Naija politics is never for d Cool & Calm guys among us, otherwise; they would run streets for someone pikin.
May God Bless d incoming government notwithstanding. The gentle strides of a tiger should not be mistaken for cowardice. Obi is a very calculative and smart mafia I know. He doesn't make noise and he plans till the end. Who believed he will campaign in the most deadliest part of Northern Nigeria. Obi fought cabals in Anambra to finish. Go and ask. They know we are about to get better. They know BAT cannot be controlled by external forces....even at that, they will still congratulate him whether they like it or not. Many countries sent delegates to him last year so don't you worry. Don't think this gives you any hope of not being governed by him. By 2027, 2023 Obidients will vote for his second term. Utopia |

In 2015 immediately after Buhari was declared Nigeria's President-elect, world leaders and foreign countries immediately congratulated Buhari and praised Nigerians for good elections:
Flash: April 2, 2015 President-elect General Muhammadu Buhari was receiving congratulatory messages from world leaders among who are the leaders of The United Kingdom, UK, France, Rwanda, Somalia and Niger Republic.
President Goodluck Jonathan received the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Michel Arrion, while the European Union Chief Observer, Santiago Fisas and the Deputy Chief Observer, Hannah Roberts was among those who visited President Jonathan.
In their separate messages, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, President Francois Hollande of France, Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, Rwandan leader Paul Kagame and Prime Minister of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou congratulated General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory and Nigerians for conducting a credible election that would ensure a peaceful transfer of power from one elected administration to another.
Among those who visited to felicitate with General Buhari in Abuja were former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, former Vice President and chieftain of APC, Atiku Abubakar and his wife Hajiya Titi Abubakar and the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield and accompanied by US Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador James Entwistle, among others.
Now: It is almost 10 hours since Nigeria elected her new president, no congratulatory messages from World leaders, only Ganduje, Mai Mala Buni, Omo-Agege, Buhari,Lawan that are congratulating Tinubu... a whole President-elect of Nigeria... what's going on. orohbiro: Atiku left PDP 2014 to support Buhari, Tambuwal left PDP 2014 to support Buhari, Malays and saraki left PDP to support Buhari,. Ayu left PDP to support Buhari. Even Obasanjo support Buhari Wike make sure he stayed back at PDP to stab them in.both back and front. APC is now a bone Nigerians can remove in their throats those who crave for change Buhari has done the pepper, Tinubu is coming with his own brace up guys You are right, Wike successfully avenged for GEJ and also finished his betrayals Tambuwal, Obaseki, Okowa and co. But hear this from me, Wike is not in full support of Tinubu, when the time comes na Wike fit scatter show for Tinubu. Wike no send anyone Papa, he is just loyal to his feelings at any given damn time. Politics › Re: (personal Opinion) PDP Is Relegated in SE by Faber(m): 3:37am On Mar 01, 2023 |
Billionaire2: First of all I want to congratulate ‘in advance’ whoever is pronounced the winner of the presidential election and all winners from all parties in the senatorial contest. As a liberal I want to be as neutral as I possibly can irrespective of the mixed reactions towards the results coming from inec. In my opinion, I think PDP as the biggest opposition party killed its chances of defeating the incumbent APC when they went against their zoning rules and selected Atiku (a northerner) in the primaries, not minding that the outgoing president is also a northerner. This move was backed by some northern party oligarchs in their bid to ensure that the north retains power not minding the dangers ahead. While APC was fighting to retain power even going against the wish of some party members by selecting a Muslim/Muslim candidates, PDP’s primaries as the main opposition was more of the north retaining power than the party defeating their main rival APC. In the end all the aspirants and delegates went home with huge envelopes and Atiku(a northerner) emerged as their candidate. Wike and co were betrayed, Obi defected to Labour Party. This paved way for the Rise of Labour Party. The south east has been a stronghold of the PDP since 1999 but the results coming from that side clearly indicates that LP has taken over the region, even sitting governors were defeated in their own constituencies. The gubernatorial elections is going to be interesting… Once again congratulations to the winners. PDP will never win elections again in the South East, our party now is Labour party. Just like Obi made APGA strong, he don introduce Labour for us. We don leave PDP for Wike and co. Next elections Labour is taking over Edo State, Imo State and Anambra. Enugu and Abia already in the bag. |
Politics › Re: South South Or North Central: Who Is The Latest Betrayer? by Faber(m): 3:26am On Mar 01, 2023 |
kaylardz: By supporting president Buhari against Jonathan, Southwest wore the tag of betrayer between 2015 and 2023. This time around, the easterners relied heavily on south south and North Central region to return Peter OBI as president. Unfortunately, the south south divided their votes and gave a good percentage of it to Bola Tinubu while the North Central overwhelmingly voted the candidate of the APC. The question therefore is which region is the new betrayer of the south east political interest in Nigeria? South south or north central?? Mind how you talk, South South is made up of Edo, Cross River, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa. Edo delivered, Cross River delivered, Delta the same, even GEJ delivered his Polling Unit to Obi. They never voted PDP and APC na the work of their governors. They are with us and are still with us. Don't divide us, we are one Obedient Family. |

Politics › Re: How Wike Helped Atiku Become President by Faber(m): 1:38am On Mar 01, 2023 |
Sweetberry123: Now we all know there'll be a rerun as Tinubu failed to achieve 25% in FCT. The rerun would be between the two candidates with the highest number of votes: Atiku and Tinubu. Now if you look at the difference in votes between Atiku and Obi, it is around 900k or so. From what I gathered Rivers voted very heavily for Obi. With a voting strength in excess of 3m, there's no way Obi would not have gotten 1m+ votes in Rivers. Had Wike not done anything, had he not rigged rivers election, the rerun would be between Tinubu and Peter Obi, and we all know Tinubu would win, as the North would be united in their phobia for an Igbo presidency and deliver Tinubu. But now the rerun would be between Atiku and tinubu, and all those Obi supporters would return home to the PDP, thereby giving Atiku the presidency. Expect Obi to be in court telling you he won the elections, both in Rivers, and met in 25% in many states and was rigged out....omoh Obj will drag INEC like tiger gen. But in a situation where what you said plays out, all Obidients will deliver Atiku massively. Something is telling me, INEC will declare Tinubu President and leave all man to go to court |
