Haaland is like Van Nistelrooy. Players who are at the right place at the right time. They have an instinctive reading of the game. Every move is interpreted in their minds in terms of its overall outcomes. Every footballer has that ability. It's just that theirs is keener and finer.

Good. Van Nistelrooy wasn't rated despite his goals cos he lacked ball playing attributes like Henry, Van Persie etc. Haaland is good but he is nothing special. Gabby J is what special means!! Thank you!

Liverpool tabled almost 40 million for him 2 years ago but Villarreal wanted 60m. Playing for Everton will give Liverpool the opportunity to examine him closely. Is Gabby J not scoring at Arsenal now? Or do you mean Arsenal is a better team than Mancity? You should know Pep was playing him out of position. He lost confidence in his abilities to be an out and out striker. Haaland can't play any other position except number 9 unlike Gabby J. At Arsenal he has nothing to fear and you can see his qualities now!

You are the olodo here. He is a striker that cost more than 50m and you expect him not to have positioning. Seriously? What special about his goals? Aguero was the last out and out City striker and he scored better goals for City. So what's special in his goals?

But Gabby J goals are of special quality now at Arsenal. The coach did not believe in him. Haaland is not better than Gabriel Jesus in anything. Dribbling, hold up, pressing, passing etc Gabriel J tops him. He only tops Gabby J in height and stature.

Haaland has the brain of a striker. In adition he hasvthe physique. He isbperfectly crafted to be a striker.
His brain understands the striker role perfectly. Like inzaghi he can beat offside traps. Like yekinu he can shoot from any angle. He can finish one on ones. He us mobile, his movement is intelligent.
The only weakness i see is thatbhr can't take freekicks and its not even necessary

If I possess his stature and playing for a team like Mancity, I will be scoring hattrick every game! He can't dribble. Can't hold the ball well. He scores from normal strikers movements. Nothing special in his goals. Absolutely nothing. He offers nothing special to City. Even Umar Sadiq will score those goals!

I just read from another Spanish Source, El Chiringuito TV that Everton have indeed asked Villarreal CF about Chukwueze BUT HAVEN'T MADE AN OFFER YET.

They further said if a good offer arrives for Chuks, that Villarreal will surely negotiate his departure.

Of course, the focus is Kvaratskhelia. I just like the way he shoots the ball. It's graceful. Reminds me of Van Persie! I just wish Oshimen can shoot like that!

Yes. I read this article. It was actually focused on Kvaratskhelia's vertical playing style (And it's effects on how Napoli plays now) than on Osimhen but this part of the article really highlighted the ever improving motion-intelligence of Osimhen in the final third.
Napoli MFs need to do more to really find Victor and ofcos Victor gotta keep fine-tuning his shooting technique. He will get there coz he just keeps improving with every match.

Opta-Analyst's Sam McGuire did a great Job on this one.

Oshimen always makes the right moves, but the Napoli players hold on to the ball for far too long. If Oshimen improves his shooting technique then he might win the ballon one day!

Wrong. Wenger has once used Iwobi as a CM at Arsenal. I trust it was a Cup game.

Also, Lampard used Iwobi Post-Afcon in Central Midfield for a couple games before finishing the season with Iwobi at RB in the last few games of 21/22 season.

Post-Afcon under Lampard with Iwobi featuring in Central Midfield for a good number of games was where the Rejuvenation/Further evolution of Iwobi began.

And this switch to Central areas is something I advocated for and mentioned via twitter post-Afcon just before Lampard made that move.

So Peseiro only came in and consolidated on it. He was not the first, My good man. Credits to him for continuing from where Lampard stopped with Iwobi before the 22/23 season began.

The Toffees flattered to deceive at times in Lancashire, but they ultimately got the job done through Demarai Gray’s breakthrough on the half-hour mark to confirm their place in the third round. The talking points were certainly few and far between, but a recurring theme has generated further weight tonight.

The prevailing notion on the Goodison Park terraces midway through last season was that Iwobi was simply not good enough to inspire the club up the table and hoist them from the relegation murk, but now, the conventional wisdom has shifted, and Everton fans will tell you he is one of their more important players.

Much like Joelinton changed his fortunes by reinventing himself as a tenacious midfield operator, Iwobi has undergone a similar transformation.
The once polarising winger has shifted the Merseyside narrative and is now Lampard’s trusty No. 8. Incredibly, only Declan Rice (32) has managed more ball recoveries than Iwobi (30) this season among central midfielders.

Paserio is the man not Lampard. He trusted Iwobi in the midfield 2 against Mexico, Ecuador, Serrialone and Sao Tome. No other coach in history has ever played Iwobi has number 4 or 6. Paserio was the first not Lampard, please!

There was a time in the first half Oshimen pointed and made a run but the guy did not pass, instead, he held on to the ball and later passed backward. Oshimen was visibly furious! If you are actualling watching the game you won't make this statement!

Not actually. The pass was delayed because of Osimhen's movement to the outside of the defender.

If he pointed forward, even the dumbest player will thread that pass into the space where he pointed rather than to feet.
