Onyekuru is not needed on that list. I think Balogun was called to make Akpoguma feel at home. He won't play. Aribo has played every game for Eagles except Sao Tome he needed a break. Alhassan deserves a call up even though I don't rate him highly. Other than that, the list is cool. You don't just discard the core of a team. You do it gradually. Even Southgate invited Maguire and Shaw. Frank played some minutes in the last 2 games for Brentford. He has been phenomenal in green white green jersey. He deserves his call up. It just a friendly match 4 good midfielders are enough.

Why should one even reason that because you have Alhassan and Onyedika, the experienced guys should be discarded? Musa came in against Sao Tome, and you could see the maturity in his play. Etebo can be omitted, but Onyeka is making the bench, which shows he is active. Onyeka has started 2 matches for Nigeria, and he was the best player on the field in those games.

Of course, Oga KOG! Onigbide was pushing Ejide before Enyeama came out of nowhere. You don't discard what you have for what has not been tested. Even Onigbide still started Ike in the first two matches at the 2002 world cup despite his horrendous performance against Senegal at AFCON 2002. Open the camp and let everyone compete.

Peseiro should search for good keeper and if he believes it's Okoye and Uzoho,no issue but one thing is sure they are very average and not good enough for eagles.

Onyeka, Etebo, and Musa are still needed in the Super Eagles based on their last performance in the National team. You don't just discard and replace National team players! You rebuild little by little.

Sadiq so far this season has performed extremely well,so saying he had poor game just against man utd meant nothing,it's my opinion not general opinions.

CF not getting passes or midfield not functioning might be due to CF position or movement on the field of play.The Sadiq I watched against man utd can do better cos watching all his matches this season,he was unplayable even my number one picked amongst Nigeria CF so far this season.

His positioning how? He was moving all the time but the passing were poor. How many shot at goal did the entire Sociedad team even had in the first half? One and it came from Sadiq. How many shot at goal did the guy that replaced him had in the 2nd half? None! Why blame Sadiq? The entire team was porous in that first half.

Truth be told he had a poor game,substituted after 45 mins should tell you that,having a knock I don't know but so far this season,Sadiq has really impressed.

How did the guy that came in for him performed too? I don't know what you guys expect of him with no one accurate pass. Did he missed any big chance? No. Did he missed any half chance? No. So, how was he poor? Sociedad could hardly pass the midfield in the first half. Whoscored.com rated him 6.2 and the guy that replaced him had 6.3 despite Sociedad being more attack minded in the 2nd half.

Sadiq tried his best. He received little to no service. His runs were not spotted. Even the coach had to lecture one of the midfielders on how to pass the ball on a counter to him. Created an opening out of nothing with a cool leg over to shoot at goal. He was nothing close to horrible. Who knows maybe he had a knock?

Kyle walker Peter's goal was similar.

RB salburg goal was also similar but left side of the pitch.

I don't have time for trolls. Even a blind man knows they are in no way similar. Oshimen hassle the ball alone, ran towards goal alone diagonally and passed to a free teamate who should have scored. My boy did what was right. Against Monza he shot from similar position because his run was forward and no teamate in sight and scored a beautiful goal. All the videos here are similar to the Monza goal. Thank you!

If Osimhen kicks the ball with his right foot just 1 - 4 centimeters to the left of the ball's radius the ball will go towards Alisson's left side...

if Osimhen kicks the ball with his right foot 13 - 20 centimeters to the left of the ball's radius and aims towards Alisson's right side the ball will spin and create a curling effect which will curve the ball past Alisson.

Both times the keeper rushed in. Osimhen didn’t have to bend the ball with his left (Which he can do) all he needed was to pass the ball into the far corner with his left. He could also go the opio route and nutmeg the keeper or he could give him the eyes and slam the ball in the near side. To say he only had one option is just wrong. If the net was so open for his teammates they would have ended up scoring.

Zambo scored with his left not his right. For Zambo not only did the keeper block the far post with his positioning, there were 2 defenders that would have been on the line if he went there.

Zambo positioning allows him to shoot with either foot. If he missed no one would have blamed him cos he had no other options. Oshimen doesn't have that option. He would have to shoot with his weaker foot. Why take that route when a teamate his free. He did the best thing. That decision should not even be up for debate.

Allison was close, before he will hit the ball with his left Allison will have gain more ground on him. He would block it either with his foot or body. He made the best decision. I don't understand the reason for this argument. His teamate was open why take that risk with your weaker foot. You just missed a penalty and then decide to shoot with a weaker foot when there are other options. No now!

Thank you for this picture. You can see that the keeper was closing Oshimen down and the only way he could score was to bend it with his weaker foot. The position of his body makes that near impossible. Oshimen run was diagonal cos of where he collected the ball from Gomez, and there were acres of space to pass for his teammates facing an open net. Why then should he risk shooting with his left when he can pass to a colleague facing an open goal?

Zambo had control of the ball cos it was a one-two pass. He has acres of space and good body positioning to shoot with his right foot and no teammates were in sight. Oshimen made the right decision so was Zambo.

Point of correction! That was not our worst AFCON in history. We came fourth in 2008 without 2 red cards.
The last 2 AFCONs that we won were pure luck. The one in Cameroon and the last one in Ghana. In the one in Ghana, we beat Cameroon and South Africa on penalties after playing two soulless non-scoring draws.
We played some of the worst football in our history.
The Ivorians even stopped us from participating in the last Olympics.

This guy took over last year. Defeated a solid Ivory coast and Ghana team with a team made up of 80 % new players to qualify for AFCON.
At AFCON, his team forced the host to penalties with nine women.
The Morrocan stood no chance even with 10 women.
Forced Canada to a draw. Played the United States game for game with almost 6 starters missing.
The man is building a formidable team. Give him time!

Game ended 2-1 to the USA but we lost gallantly. But Randy must go after NFF elections on 30th September. We are tired of his poor technicality. Next friendly for Falcons is in October with Japan.
