Subzero047: Iheanacho being put in midfield because we don't have enough midfielders, reminds me of a certain coach We have midfielders. Onyeka and Onyedika are on the bench. This is how we have been playing under Paserio. |

Nwakali is needed in the Super Eagles. If Iwobi gets injured who wil create play. Aribo is more 8 than 10. |

KINGinVAHALA: If Argentina plays Brazil again, with all the top players they might still ends up not scoring a goal except through penalty. It seems you haven’t watched Argentina plays most after winning the Copa American. That team is rugged, dogged, fights and wins all balls and hardly concede, better still they plays for each other’s now. Imagine pairing Romero and Martinez as central backs, 2 Vidic like defenders and having De Paul(I think this guy is so underrated) as their box to box midfielder Martinez commits unnecessary fouls. I don't really rate him. World Cup is different from Copa where they play rugby football. VAR dey! |

A player that makes the bench is active. Not playing the real game doesn't really matter. It is only Nigerians that protest against bench and 30+ players. Messi, Giroud, Modric, and Ronaldo are still very active. charlesemeka85: imagine bench warmer and clueless maguire starting ahead of everton’s coady, tomori and even Roma’s smalling? |

mostob: You can't have a Midfield duo of Iwobi and Nwakali especially against a top team like Algeria. Both of them are not so good defensively which means our midfield will be an expressway. In fact, Iwobi and Etebo played well because Sao Tome was a lesser team. Iwobi and Nwakali do mark now. Go watch their games. Also, it depends on the coach's tactical prowess. Football has evolved. One of the CB can step into the midfield to support. The wingbacks can also slide into the midfield to add more bodies since the formation allows for natural wingers to dominate on the wings. |

Alhassan will flop in Super Eagles. I have watched him play. I don't see him fit the profile of a National team player. However, Nwakali will excel in JP system. He is the type of DM/CM he needs. Can pass, shoot and dribble. I would have loved to see Nwakali and Iwobi's midfield 2 against Algeria. |

He won't turn us down. Stating that he can play for us through his grandparents on National media is a plea to us. We just need to call him up. Akpoguma captained their under 20 and played in a better team yet was not capped. Germany will never extend an invitation to him. charlesemeka85: and the nff shouldnt work hard in convincing him to play for us if he is really what jpes wants? At 23 he is yet to be capped by the Germans, a good pal of lorient’s hit man moffi, and been offered the opportunity to have a good international platform to showcase his talent with one of Africa’s most successful teams, so what made you think he will turn us down?
Even if he turns us down I see nothing wrong in reaching out to him again and who knows he may hv a change of heart much later and switch to us
Lookman is a good example |

Where did I write that Haaland is lucky? Please can you quote the post? Emmy450: u preferring Gabby to halland is ur personal choice, and doesn't necessarily mean he's better.most managers would outrightly pick halland over Gabriel Jesus without thinking twice.. PS: he's not lucky, he's clinical & precise |

Please Joebie, who is/are on that list without merit? Joebie: The problem is there is bias in the system. Selection is not strictly by merit. NFF will only hire coaches that will allow them to interfere. When Peseiro learns his lessons and wants to put his foot on the ground it would be too late. |
