I apologize. Went back to read it again and saw it.

19CannyMum:
The original question was can a couple create two profiles?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fadia: 2:51pm On Mar 06, 2019
Okay. Thanks for clarifying.

My understanding of the initial question was that they wanted to "APPLY" (e-APR) separately even though they're husband and wife not that they were entering the pool to get ITA. I think we just misunderstood ourselves with that "apply" word.

BishopHNO:
Creating profile isn't getting ITA let alone PPR. Besides, they don't have to accept 2 ITAs but one and decline the other in the very unlikely event that both get ITA. Therefore, there will be no 2 PPRs as only one profile will be used for PPR processing.

Hope above helps with your question.

However, above may not even be the case assuming one has good scores that can fetch ITA going by recent trend. But where they're exploring PNP option, great strategy to have both profiles as you can't be certain of the profile that will have nomination.

I have not seen or heard anywhere it's stated it can't be done or a misrepresentation.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fadia: 1:58pm On Mar 06, 2019
When I find one, I'll post it. But if you say they can apply separately then what happens when both applications are approved and PPR/COPR is ready to be issued? How would they go about it then?

19CannyMum:
Your answer would be yes. Both spouses will answer yes.

Kindly post source of your assertion that one family cannot have two profiles.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fadia: 12:39am On Mar 06, 2019
No I did not. I just put her bank account number and name in the LOE

Ologunsunny:

I actually stopped thinking of this immigration wahala... Till DH left me 11 missed calls. And we have just 2 weeks to plan till our medicals expire. Would be back for detailed breakdown.

Ps the waiting is close to a year
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fadia: 5:14pm On Mar 05, 2019
No, husband and wife cannot have two different profiles. If you are a family then you have to apply as one.

What would be your answer when you're asked if you're married and if spouse is accompanying?

19CannyMum:
Yes husband and wife can have two different profiles.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fadia: 5:10pm On Mar 05, 2019
Hi, I don't think it should be an issue as @topsmamen already said but if you still feel strange about it and want to avoid overthinking it, you can tell your uncle to send it to either of your parents and they can transfer it to you. I think its usually easier to do gift deed from parents (just my opinion though). That's how I did mine and I also attached a copy of my bank statement showing the transfer from my mum's account to mine.

chukwuemeka275:
Hi, does anyone know whether doing a gift deed from a Canadian person (my uncle) will be flagged as an issues?

Please can someone who is in ICAN Professional stage get their Transcript evaluated? If yes, and if anyone here has gotten theirs evaluated, what was it evaluated as?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fadia: 9:41am On Feb 19, 2019
Good morning, everyone.

Please for the people who evaluated with WES after their WAEC wahala started, did you include your secondary schools as part of the "Institutions" or not? And was WAEC scratch card required for both certificates (the person is using two degrees)?

My friend is in the process of applying for WES and we're both confused with the entire thing and because I didn't have to evaluate my WAEC when I was doing mine, I have no idea how to go about it.

PLEASE HELP
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by Fadia: 10:09pm On Feb 16, 2019
Yes, it is. WES evaluated mine as equivalent to a 3-year bachelor's degree program.

quille11:
Hello guys,

Great job y'all doing!

Is CIPM acceptable for express entry?

If no what other professional certifications is acceptable.

Thank you

These links could also help answer a few questions. They are from the EE thread. You should direct your sister there too, vast information.

TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Fadia: 4:50pm On Nov 27, 2018
Does this mean she's currently doing her masters and not undergrad? If yes, and she already has full time experience from Nigeria, then by all means she can go ahead and use that.

Like I said before though, what I'm not sure of is if she can start the process while she still maintains a student status. Hoping someone would shed more light on this.

Trizadove:
Also, what about her work experience here in Nig? cant it be of use if she gets letters from her employers?
TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Fadia: 4:46pm On Nov 27, 2018
Please see answers in bold below

Trizadove:
wow
thank you so much. but she is working as a student. doesnt that count? She has to be have been working full time continuously for 1 year before it can be recognized. It must also be paid work.
please i would like to know the other requirements needed. does she needs the IELTS too? if yes, can she do it in Canada. Yes, she needs IELTS and Yes I believe she can do it in Canada.
would she be needing her statement of account here in Nigeria again? she doesnt have any money there....lol I believe she would only need the statement of account for whatever account she plans to use for her POF (which I'm guessing would be the one she's currently running, or otherwise)
i appreciate the knowledge you have shared. please help me answer this if you can. thank you
TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Fadia: 1:24pm On Nov 27, 2018
I haven't landed yet but from what I've read, it doesn't necessarily have to be processed from Nigeria. She can start the process there in Canada but she however has to have a legal status at the time of processing. I'm not sure if she can start the process while she's still a student though (I stand corrected). She has to finish school first, get a job and maintain it for at least one year (this is assuming she doesn't have prior work experience) before she can proceed to apply.

Trizadove:
good afternoon landed seniors
My sister is an international student in Canada, she has been asking me to find out how she can be a PR in Canada.
please can you give us heads up on how to go about it. i told her i know about the EE stuff, but has to be processed from Nig
please can you suggest how to go about the PR application from within Canad. what to apply for, requirements and what it takes.
thank you

Please has anybody tried upgrading their ECA report with WES in recent times? I am trying to upgrade to the course-by-course evaluation but they're saying I'd have to submit an entirely new application.

Please anyone who was able to upgrade without starting over should kindly shed light on how you were able to go about it.

You were able to get PTA with a one way ticket? I thought they only gave PTA for return tickets?

eclectic139:
I think 4/5k can't remember what the limit was. But I know they gave me the limit allowed each person.

I’ve not landed yet but my tecno phone didn’t work in the US. My dad had the same issue with his too, so you might want to have a back up plan

Walebayo:
hello landed colleagues... do tecno phones work in canada?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by Fadia: 2:04pm On Nov 14, 2018
People before now have gone through this route and gotten their PPR.

Just imagine a scenario where you had already set your wedding date since like early last year (before you started the EE process) and your wedding date happens to fall AFTER your AOR date, would she need o write IELTS? Definitely not. because at the time of submission, you are not yet married and you'd only add her to your application as a "SPOUSE" AFTER your AOR.

thats the reason why IRCC asks if your family composition has changed when they're issuing PPR, so that they can give your NEW family members PPR too.

SHE IS NOT YET YOUR SPOUSE

survivor1986:
No offense but I doubt it. How can they give both of us PPR even without her writing IELTS? Adding her without her IELTS drops our points below 440 ordinarily. So I strongly doubt if IRCC will allow us to bypass the need for Spouse’s IELTS by simply marrying her after AOR.

I wonder what their reasons for selecting only those hospitals are but yes, with the increase in number of Nigerian applicants, we really and urgently need them to increase the number of panel physicians. It is highly frustrating having to go through this. I'm just hoping and praying it doesn't get to the point of having to decline the invitation.

olajide21:
Isn't it time for Applicants from Nigeria to collect signatures and write IRCC to kindly increase the number of Panel Physicians in Nigeria? We would inform that how frustrating it is to get booked, hopefully they should response positively. There are qualify hospitals all around the nation.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Fadia: 9:39am On Oct 23, 2018
Please is there anybody that has a free slot for medicals at any of the hospitals? My friend has about a month left to submission and the hospitals are fully booked until further notice. Please we would really appreciate any help we can get.

You don't need the hard copy to submit your application. I only collected the soft copy and that's what I uploaded.

Homguy:
GOOD day fam, I am at studio 24 and they are charging a a bill of 1,500 naira for soft copy and 1,500 for hard copy. Which is advisable? Do I pay for only soft copy or is the hardcopy better? I intend scanning the hardcopy though as I cannot pay for both.

You should use what is on your employment letter i.e what it is called in your organization. The NOC is just a guide and it can be called various things in different countries.

livings110:
Hello everyone pls i need urgent help with this Pls in drafting my work reference letter for Canada PR should I use the tittle of the job (Sales Executive) as it is called in my country or should I the Canadian noc tittle (account manager)?
