Explicit01: I don't think the equator passes through ghana, it should be the Greenwich meridian that passes through ghana and this imaginary line also passes through uk, so your hypothesis doesn't hold. Do your research...the equator passees tru Ghana,is a well known fact. |

LaurelP: Its mostly in Africa where men have made women to feel like gods. Go to the western world and you'll see dat women infact do and say dis things more dan d men.
I don't know it its illiteracy or too much nymphomaniaism dat is worrying us, making us fool ourselves in front of women! I hardly tell a girl I love u, even if I do. Yes, there are other ways by which I communicate it to her in a subtle manner and b4 u know it, she'll be d one telling me I love u. But when u kip on saying it to her, it becomes common. I do more of showing dan saying it. Bro.is not even an African tin,is mostly Nigerian women mentality;I mean just cross Boarder,go to any neighbouring African nation,it is totally different, byt naija babes behave as if they do men a favour. |

Nice work, but I don't realy agree on two points: 3.Can you hear me?...sometimes you do that ,not necessarily to know if someone is hearing you,but just a way of connecting and affirming their attention. 7.shutin off appliance....I believe there shud be order and docurum in some gatherings...there are instances where such gadgets affects the audio system, and I know wat am talkin about..not using your fone for few minutes of presentation will not kill you,..if you are not there to add to or to learn you can as well keep off! |

optimiza: hmmm, quite a logical arguments i hav witnessd on nairaland. insults and abuse reduced to bearest mimimal. i belive in attacking arguments instead of persons. the stakes for electioneering are high and sampled public opinions on the web is the best as witnesd in advanced countries.
should this election be free and fair,i see a greater Nigeria. Notwithstanding, having adoptd buhari as the man fearless to tackle coruption and indiscipline in nigeria, choosing a VP wil not b dificult. whether its fashola, or okorocha, i jst want change. if pdp wins dis election nxt yr, it wil be that without pdp nobody can win election thats why if u opose theirs failings they kick u out. i am not happy with the level of zigzag in this country. let Apc consult well with leaders of SW and SE to see who gathers more suports. Apc must also use statistics of previous election results to knw who to pick
God bless APC God bless Nigeria And god bless you! |

APC will never chose its vice from the southwest, because that wud mean "dea-on-arrival"fortheparty in the East..they know better than you,so they won't even try it,that's to tell you ,is not how hard you work, but about interest an "alignment" |

ilugunboy: Bro....in politics you get what you worked for and not what you think you are entitled to.
In my opinion, SW have earned the right above any other zones. How Are you kidding me Why don't you make another southwesterner the president for another 8years...since na only them sabi work |

ilugunboy: ...he is from Cross Rivers state...prior to this desperation by the PDP camp with introduction of tribal and religious card to the polity, Donald Duke could stand a chance...however who in Cross River will follow him and work with him in APC...in other words...what does his primary constituency brings to the table in term of electoral value.
The truth reality is that the SW is the stronghold of APC ...and where it VP will mostly likely emerge from.
APC is not strong in SS nor SE.....but very strong in SW and strong enough in NW and NE.
Any VP choice from SE or SS because of religion consideration will result to a GEJ win. Good points, but do you realy think it will be fair to the south easterners,to be relegated and marginalised to the extent of giving a vice presidential ticket to the southwest, after Obasanjo(from S/west) has been in power for 8years,yaradua(from north)for 2years,then Jonathan(from S/south)for 6years then southeast,no presidency,no vice-president how does that work?plz am not a tribalist,..just stating the obvious.so as a political scientist..the game plan for APC shuld be to consolidate on their strong-hold in the west, but then try also to encroach on PDPs strong-hold,which is south-east..by ceding the vice-president to the East..any other game plan will be a "game-crash" |

oduaboy1: Any attempt to put an ibo man on that ticket amounts to gross political miscaculation.Even if you put jesus on that ticket, this people are still going to vote enmasse for Jonathan. But that is the only option they have, not pikin the Vice presidential ticket from the East, wud mean "dead on arrival"for the APC... |

kingingkinging: Please whenever you want to prove a statement or sentence as a wrong one, always endeavour to make it expressly done, not a shallow work like this. What rule of semantics, concord, tense principle, lexis and structure, etc that proves the clause wrong?
The best you can do is to punctuate the clause for the person very well i.e ( When he said it, I was like, ok, let us go to my house' ). That is a complete sentence and it is reasonable. Well punctuated and succinct. But the man or woman in question made a verbal expression , so, your opinion, to me, on this, is irrelevant.
You have only successfully created an unnecessary thread. What is wrong there?
Some sentences are correct provided they are used colloquially only ie. verbally and informally but people tend to say they are wrong even when they don't have a proof on that.
You cannot be a better Christian than Jesus please. Even the brit use words that are informal when they are applicable. Well said! |

This cud perhaps change your mindset :"a large portion of the OXFORD DICTIONNARY was written by a MURDERER FROM A MENTAL INSTITUTION"...source:@factbook..wat does that tell you about the English language? Infact I was listening to the BBCnews,it said that the english language, has been able to survive, largely due to it's ability to evolve and adapt to changes instead of been static..so tink again..all this our follow follow don too much, nigeria is old and big enof to have it own version of the English language, known as "Nigerian English",so get use to that |
