if the police feels the rally would be hijacked by hoodlums, then it's left for them to provide protection, it's not only to carry hand bags for politicians wife that they are good at "you can't beat a child and still tell him not to cry".... words of Adams Oshiomole during occupy Nigeria rally against Jonathan

and what are they feeling like? African countries and confused leaders. can they ECOWAS OR USELESS AU do same to well equipped army like Egypt, SUDAN and Cameroon? because of if one is talking of democracy, These countries don't even have one, now compare to Gambia and Jammeh who atleast conducted an election. they have seen small country to flex muscle. "swegbe" "Nigeria:the only country that imports what it has (oil) and exports what it doesn't have (democracy)"... Condolesser Rice |
ehie:I thought as much |
olaolulazio:and you think men don't suffer from breast cancer? |
phones are basically the same, even more so when more of them are Android base. the only major thing that differs one phone from another is the installed APP. the manufacturer keep churning out same thing with little or nothing special upgrade |
madridsta007:if in all I said, you still couldn't grasp my point, it's quite pathetic |
Paulpaulpaul:any tiny mosquito bite usually ends with malaria... guess our blood is too sweet, maybe more bitter leaf soup Wil turn the blood bitter ![]() |
there's absolutely nothing wrong with someone going for what he or she stands for.. even more so when such is expressed within democratic bounds a certain man floated "YOUTH EARNESTLY ASK FOR ABACHHA" and we didn't kill him, even ADOLF HITLER had his own supporters, not to talk of Devil, so how much more Buhari? I campaign wholeheartedly for Buhari to the extent that my brothers from the East excommunicated me. the greatest benefits of 2015 elections was that for the first time in our democratic experiment, we were able to remove a siting government from power thereby demystifying the so called power of incumbency... still can't forget Tony Anenih boasting to the whole world that PDP WILL RULE NIGERIA FOR 50 YEARS!!! now if as a party they have learnt their lessons, it left for them to convince Nigerians to bring them back if not let them wallow in their misery. as for APC, they have another two years to "run amok" after that "se Gobe" I sure regret voting APC, but I certainly do not regret voting out PDP. |
nothing new, it can only be from Kenya. |
you people will stop at nothing to disparage Tuface. when Tunde Bakere and rest of APC organised their carnival against Goodluck Jonathan, you never showed who were behind |
for pension China would have been better destination |
What is wrong in importing arms if they met the requirements? |

mofeoluwadassah: the yoruba name has no meaning? |
mofeoluwadassah:babe what is the meaning of your name.. looks unique |
shobroy10:even if they do, some time we need to differentiate a party platform from and individual's antecedents |
if they have access to nairaland account, many people would be fired based on the hatred and tribal e-war on this platform |
that is life, one man's meat another's poison. we Africans and our constraint mentality, can't forget my yoruba pastor telling me that "I am arrogant for not prostrating" to greet her, she didn't care to know that I am not from her tribe, my tribe is egalitarian, "we respect but do not bow" and doesn't by any means make me arrogant |
what you did in secret we now see in the open.. we have always known you came to power to compensate your kinsmen, and you succeeded in doing that.. that one busy talking about life savings, as in our Commonwealth gotten from Babangida #life-savingsmyfoot |
number 13.. so out of point. go read the history of high heels, it was originally meant for Men who work in abattoir |
A leading Nigerian actress has been banned from the Hausa-language film industry because of her "immoral" behaviour, the main industry body says. Rahma Sadau caused offence by "hugging and cuddling" pop star Classiq in a video, it added. The industry, commonly known as Kannywood, has been under fire from conservative Muslim clerics who accuse it of corrupting people's values. They regard it as taboo for men and women to hold hands or kiss in public. • Africa Live: More on this and other African stories • Nigeria's shelves plans for film village • A hunger for romance in northern Nigeria Ms Sadau, who is said to be on a holiday in India, has not yet commented on the ban imposed by Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (Moppan). Its chairman, Muhammadu Kabiru Maikaba, told the BBC Hausa service that the ban was "total". "This is not the first time that she has been doing these wayward things. We have been warning her, but she still went ahead to dent our image," he said. The Kannywood star appeared in the video with Classiq, in a song entitled I Love You. In it, the Nigerian pop star is smitten with a vegetable seller in a market, acted by Ms Sadau. Initially, she rejects his advances, batting him away with a bunch of vegetables, but he eventually wins her over. They hold hands and engage in a bit of cuddling that would be considered demure in a Western film. Rahma Sadau and Classiq Rahma Sadau and Classiq Rahma Sadau and Classiq In a statement, Moppan said it hoped Ms Sadau's expulsion would serve as a deterrent for other actors. Its code of conduct requires actors to avoid doing anything which violates Islamic and Hausa culture, reports the BBC's Isa Sanusi from the capital, Abuja. Many people in northern Nigeria felt she had gone too far with Classiq in the music video, he adds. Classiq cannot be banned because he is not a member of Moppan. BBC © 2016

Peter Obi said we should take back our country from these "task masters" and the best way to do that is to ask how much does this guy receive for constituency projects and how much in reality has he put for good use? stop donating 100 thousand as if it's your personal money, and use prayer solicitation to cover up... our leaders keep stealing from us and asking us to pray for them ![]() my prayers, God punish wicked politicians! |
this is height of tirany! what is Dogara feeling like? |
Tolexander: as in seriously are you saying partisanship is their livelihood, meaning they don't do anything else outside of politics? that would mean that Arsenal supporters are been paid and sustained directly from the Emirates? |
we elected our leaders to so our problem, with the believe that God has endowed them with the ability to do so, but they instead are asking us to pray to God to solve the same problem? isn't better we ask God to remove their brains, since is of no use?
|
michaelandre:in using your brain, you should have known that landmass is of no essence to same development you're canvassing. |

Shymm3xx:True USA has more debt than GDP, but implosion will never happen, the reason been that The US borrows in dollars, and dollars is the world's legal tender and dollars belongs to the US..that simply means they can print as many dollars (call it bond or whatever) to settle their debt, but a country like Nigeria can not print naira to settle it's foreign debt, so in essence they-the US are owing "nothing" |
what useless landmass that doesn't put food on people's tables, Japan with it's tiny landmark is richer than African. even to cultivate the huge landmark and feed our people is too much to as for, so of what use is it ![]() |
