Talibans are product of Pakistani religious schools that indoctrinated refugee Afghan children during the wars with the Mujahideen and foreign powers.
They crossed into Pakistan as minors. Most of them don't even know their villages, their parents or lineage. Their allegiance is to the Taliban movement.
The first time they fought any battle was when they came to fight the Mujahideens (Indigenous Afghans fighting for their land over the decades).
Its like saying BokoHaram are Indigenous owners of the north. Where do you put the hausas?
