Wish you all the best bro.
If it were some other people they wouldn't make the best out of their lives with the little they got.

I see you have been able to sustain yourself in the past months by the grace of God.
Having next session school fees at hand is also great. I salute and admire your courage.

I have this feeling that you are made for more... You are made far more than just ordinary lives and that you will look at today and smile at the challenges.

I will also like to advice that in today's labour market, skills is very very essential.
I don't know what you are studying but that graphic designing skills you have is money right now and they get jobs easily.

This apart, you can really start on establishing yourself right now by delving into web designing, content management and the rest.
I pray that you continue to be inspired and that The Lord God Almighty continue to come through for you.
Thank you sir for your kind words. I w surely heed to your advice. I'm currently learning joomla on a thread here on Nairaland.

Good morning family! I have a lot to write and a lot of people to thank for contributing in one way or the other just to make me a better person and to put me on the right path to my destiny. The love and care I've gotten from here is so great that I lack words to use in describing it but I'm sure history will reserve this kind gestures in my heart forever and God almighty will help me to follow your steps and reach out to others in the future.

48 hours ago. I didn't know I will be handling my own laptop as the case is now but thanks to you all, I have my own laptop now - ready for business.
Some days ago I got a message from Ifyalways informing me that someone here had shown willingness to raise some money so I could get a used laptop but that she was considering adding up to it so I could get a new one instead. This got me so humbled and I didn't know how I could just scream in appreciation.
The good news however is that I was called on Thursday afternoon by a delivery agent who asked me to come and pick up my package from lagos. When I got there, the package was a BRAND NEW Samsung ATIV book 2 laptop with a 15.6 inch wide screen display, 2GB RAM, 300GB hard drive and a duo core processor. As I type this, I have been able to set up the laptop and it's working wonderfully well and ready to go.
.
.
I don't just see this as a gift material gift, I see this as a call from everyone here saying 'wake up, and take your destiny in your hands and be good.' You all have succeeded in starting me up with something great and I can assure you that by the grace of the Lord who made me and had also designed my destiny, you all will always be proud that you did this for me even without knowing me in person.
.
.
Of course this post will not be complete without me thanking everyone and those I can remember their username such as Sauer, Dominique, Ifyalways, salsera, elitebook, zeemoore, ewuro5, shooze, alutacontinua, and a host of others. Please forgive me if I didn't mention you but just know that God who sees in secret will bless you openly. And even if you choose not to be blessed, it's too late. I'm praying for everyone here that the next time you need any form of help in life, before you call for one, 200 people will answer. God does not owe debts so because of this good works, God will raise men and angels to help you also.
.
Thank you all.

EducationRe: So Many People Will Get This Wrong: What Is The Opposite Of Red? by Fant(m): 11:40am On Aug 23, 2014
Tosdam: My uncle that works in a construction company shared his interview experience with me some hours ago and I wish to share it with you guys here too.

Uncle Joe sit me down and tells me why so many graduates flop in an interview questions these days. He tells me how so many graduate prepare hard for an interview but get soak with shame and embarrassment after the interview. He further picture how the best student with the best result still strive hard to have a pass mark in a cheap interview question.

Interview is not about showing your skill in calculus but expressing how fast and the level of your intelligent quotient.

Now, let me share you one of the top most question asked by an employer in a construction company.

Question:

The opposite of white is black, what is the opposite of RED?

Note: This is an interview question. Uncle Joe was the only luckiest applicant that got it right and got the Job........
I can tell you there is no single correct answer for your question. Since this is an interview question you will need to make a guess of the possible answer which your interviewer may have in his head. Your sure bet will be green.

I will describe this in the following perspectives.

WEB DESIGN.
In Web design, the colour code (hexcode) for red is #FF0000. The opposite of this will be #0000FF which will give you a Blue.

SCIENCE
In chemistry we know that acid is the opposite of base. When acid is applied to a red litmus paper it turns blue and vice versa.

CAMERA
if you switch your phone camera to negative and focus it on a red object,, your camera will show the object as green.

TRAFFIC LIGHT.
In a traffic light, red connotes danger which green connotes safety.

CONCLUSION.
Your interviewer may not know a thing about Web design, science or picture editing. But since he uses the traffic lights almost everyday, his ignorant mind will tell him it's green so you are the one who needs a job so your sure bet for getting the job will be to dance to his ignorance - that's how you pay your bills anyways!

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Militants Overrun Prestigious Mobile Police Training College In Gwoza by Fant(m): 11:47am On Aug 21, 2014
onatisi: They took over the town, hoisted their flag and appointed an emir ,and they have repelled nigeria army offensive to retake that town 5 times already, and they have been in gwoza for almost 3 weeks now. The simple plain truth is that this boko haram issue is gradually getting out of hand and control
The problem is the government is not holistic in its approach to terrorism in Nigeria.
If they want Gwoza fine! Make announcement for all innocent citizens of that town vacate the town within a specified period. After which the Nigerian military should destroy the entire town, I mean bombard the whole town. Simple!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unemployed Disabled Graduates: What Is The Way Forward? by Fant(m): 11:04pm On Aug 20, 2014
Toluwani2: Unemployed Graduates with DISABILITY: what is the way forward?

In our society, no organisation wants to employ people with disability, what is the way forward?
The way forward is to believe in God who created you and also believe in yourself and your ability. You will also need to discover areas where you are good and make a name for yourself. God made all disabled persons with one or more special ability to do something that others have difficulty in doing.

I am writing from my personal experience. You see, I am partially blind but the irony is that those with their full sight do consult me for their computer software and Web Design troubles. Funny enough is I didn't attend any special school for coding and programing, it's not even related to what I'm studying in school.
So by the time I graduate I won't need to beg for employment, all I will do is to show myself to those who understand the value of what I carry and even if I don't get a job I don't mind because I have something in me that can have me stand on my own.

Bottom line is, getting a job is about substance not about physical disabilities or ability. And if you don't get a job then bring out the one in you.

Oh this reminds me of when I finished my secondary school and since admission was not forthcoming I decided to take a job as a teacher in a school.
I could recall the headmaster of the school asking how I intend to write on a chalkboard for students with my poor vision. I smiled and told him I can and thank God he believed it but only decided to try me out in the primary section. Within 2 months I was promoted to the secondary section. I ended spending 4 years in the school, and when I finally got admission and wanted to leave, the entire students weeped bitterly and I was awarding during the graduation ceremony as the best teacher that school has ever encountered.

I wrote at length here because I want to encourage somebody. Good luck.
