Christianity EtcHappy Happy Birthday To Bishop, Dr. David O, Oyedepo by Fant(op): 1:56pm On Sep 28, 2010
The founder of the famous Living Faith Church {winners chapel}- Bishop Dr. David, Olaniyi, Oyedepo turned 56 yesterday.
He was born on september, 27, 1954. Since then, it is of no doubt that from the day he was born, God has indeed been faithful and we return all the glory to God for the life of His servant_ Bishop David Oyedepo.
After a long drawn vision of 18 hours on May, 2nd 1981, the LORD opened the seal of faith to Bishop Oyedepo, and also gave him the mandate of liberation thus:
"The hour has come to LIBERATE the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of FAITH. And I am sending you to undertake this task."
http://davidoyedepoministries.org/aboutus.
Since this great mandate, many lives have been transformed via inspirational teachings.
Personally, I give God all the glory for impacting my life through this ministry jer 3:15 {LIVING FAITH CHURCH}.
I therefore want to use this medium to say a very warm congrats to Bishop David Oyedepo for successfully turning 56
may the grace of God Almighty continue to abound in you for ever. AMEN.
Please send your wishes.
STRICTLY FOR REASONABLE FOLKS.

Praise God,
i don't know how to really express my joy for this great thread.
I simply stopped visiting This section of NL {RELIGION} because i said it was not contributing anything to my spiritual life since all i get is some useless threads where God and His servants are are openly criticised without fear.
But today, God directed my eyes to this board again and what do i have here? A wonderful thread like this. I have been searching for something like this. I hope i didn't miss much since i came in very late.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Jobs/VacanciesOnline Test Scam. Jobs Seekers Beware by Fant(op): 6:51pm On Sep 21, 2010
It is very unfortunate to find that everyday, some unscrupulous fellows are plotting how to cheat people. But the good news is: if your are wise, you can always know their tricks. And i have swon to deal with them using my God-given wisdom.
Kindly ignore any unsolisited mail that requests your friendship. Upon your acceptance, the next thing they tell you is their live storry. In which they claim to be refugees in Dakar. They also tell you that their parents are dead, but before their death, some good sum of money was deposited in a foreign bank on their behalf.
So, they want you to help them transfer the money into your account.
THIS IS WHERE THE SCAM BEGINS.
Secondly, i have been receiving some very interesting mails inviting me for online test so as to be considered for employment in a bank or other high places.
This kind of emails always begins with "Dear applicant" whereas you did not apply for any job like that.
They will then tell you to click on a link in the mail usually:
http://dalarchi.com/screeningportal.htm to participate in an online test.
If you click, they will begin to tell you some attractive things. When they have gotten you interested, they now tell you to log in using your access code.
You are requested to go and pay some money into the account number which they shall give you. This so-called codes cost 3k for six months,
THIS IS WHERE THE SCAM BEGINS.
You will never get anything through them.
BE WISE.
PoliticsRe: Mass Failure In Neco Exams Again by Fant(m): 5:56pm On Sep 21, 2010
Let me lend my voice to this topic.
It is an undenyable fact that most of our students today {even those in tertiary institutions} are generally unserious. They no longer see hard studies as a tool for success in examinations rather, they go for the "easy way."
however, in some cases, these educational cows in the sector contribute to the failure of some of these students.
Let's not forget that every student now wishes to go to the university, and in a situation where the government can not provide educational facilities that can absorb these students into the tertiary institution, what then do you expect- they will do all they could just to frustrate the dreams of these students via the O level result knowing too well that without a good O level result, they would give up on their tertiary dreams for that year and start thinking of how to re-sit.
I had this experience in my days. I don't mean to brag, but the truth is: during my primary and secondary school days, my position has never exceeded 1st, 2nd or 3rd. But when it was time for WAEC, I wrote my heart out but when the result came, all i could get was just 4 credits and without English. This completely frustrated my tertiary potentials for that year.
However, the next year, i came back and showed them the substance i was made of. I cleared everything, having my results nicely decorated with A{s} and B{s} and WAEC could'nt stop me this time.
Lots of my clever friends have also had this experience.
So let's not only blame the students but also the government who knows that if many students happen to pass, the number of students who will be seeking admission will increase beyond their capacity which means a shame to them.

i know that God speaks to people who genuely seek His face.
Now, if God truely spoke to you, then! Happy are you because "Blessed is him whom the Lord choses and causeth to appear before His sight"
so, i admonish you to do exactly as He commanded you. But next time, post such topics as this to the Religion section to avoid unnecessary comment from some fellows.
GOD BLESS YOU.

@Rhino.dm:
you dared to say my God is poor? If not for mercy and grace, your destiny would have been closed this night as i am reading your blasphemy {LUKE 12:18}.
However, God is giving you a second chance to denounce your evil comment here on this thread and now. You may not have a third chance because the holy Angels are already set to destroy you but mercy and grace is still keeping them {2Peter 3:9}.
Don't forget you are just like a vapour in the sight of God and He can kill you in less than a second . Though He is a healer, He is also a killer {1Samuel 2:6}.
This is not a threat but the truth, however, if you want to see the wrath of my God, let me know.
Note that a clay pot can not fight with his maker and succeed.

thanks for your post and may The Good Lord reward you according to your faith.

@Rhino.3m
if your mind is poor and thus can't produce any reasonable thing i recommend you just jump out of this thread and proceed to Entertainment section perhaps you will do well there "Nwa íberìbe nä-ä mägi ihe öbula"
Now let me come back to this.
@KunleOshob.
I don't think you are a christian and even if you are, i don't think you have the holy spirit in you. "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter but the glory of kings to search out the matter"{prov 25:2}. You are very wrong by saying that tithing is strictly for agricultural produce. The words in the bible should be understood with deep reasoning. When the bible uses the word "rain" it does not necessarily mean the rain you know but may mean blessings. When Jesus said he will destroy the temple and buld it within three days, it was lack of spiritual understanding that made them believe Jesus was refering to the temple in isreal.
In a similar vein, when bible says "pay tithe on agricultural produce," it does not necessarily mean "only agricultural produce" because it is not everyone that goes to farm and the God is not dull as some of us are suggesting.
If you check Gen, 14, after Abram returned from war, he paid tithe and it wasn't on agricultural produce but on the spoils he got from the war.
I have always said that The Bible is not for carnal minds but for spiritual men {mark 4:11}.
Infact, agricultural produce,gold,silver,brass,beasts, are income {wealth} and they are given by God {Deut 8:18} because they are His own {Haggai 2:8}. In our modern generation, our income comes in the form of money, thus our tithing will be paid in currencies.
@iHustle:
you are practically confused. While i don't undermine the need for personal studies, God knows that personal studies is good, yet he said "And i will give you PASTORS according to my own heart who shall TEACH YOU in all understanding and knowledge"{Jer 3:15}. So your personal studies is not enough for you because "Faith cometh by hearing"{Rom 10:17}.
Concerning private jets, did we tell you that we are getting poorer because our church bought private jets for misionary journeys? If you feel you are tired of paying tithe, why don't you stop paying and watch your poverty increase {prov 11:24}.
@bee444:
that is your opinion.
Bishop Oyedepo ones sayed to Living Faith church {Garden of Faith} Kaduna: "Stop giving today and watch if any thing stops." Today, that church is still blossoming.
It seems to amaze me much when some proud fellows begins to feel that God depends on their wreched purses to get his work done. God doesn't not depend on men for anything. But it is men that depend on God for everything.
God doesn't need you for anything but it is you that needs God for everything.
@poster:
for the sake of peace, i demand you change the topic of this thread.
Christianity EtcRe: Oyakhilome, Oyedepo, Ashimolowo, Adeboye Et Al Should be Ashamed!!! by Fant(m): 11:06pm On Aug 21, 2010
It is a pity to find that the religion section on NL is now been bastardised by some foolish thinkers who say they are free thinkers.
We know that God has given us the ability to reason properly but not on spiritual issues because the mind on it own is not capable of understanding the things of the spirit neither can it know them because they are foolishness in the sight of the carnal mind.
We now have fools who go about teaching the doctrine of men and terming it "free thinking." I call this JOBLESSNESS. You get nothing by pulling down your carnal neighours talk more of Men of God. To you, they are not men of God but fraudsters right? Let me then ask you: even if they using God's name to defraud people, who then told you that God is unable or incapable of defending His name? I mean, did God tell you to fight for Him perhaps because He is too weak? {GOD FORBID}.
Let us watch our actions lest we regret it later.
@poster:
stop lying to yourself that you are a free thinker, you are just foolish because your post is trying to suggest that God doesn't exist though you are just trying to come out bold on that {psalm 14:1}.
You are also blind because the rulers of this world has blinded your mind {2cor 4:4}.
You are not a thinker at all, rather, you are just foolish. Wreched, blind, and proud imagining in your foolish heart that you dark mind is enough for you.
If not that some people are foolish, how is it that no one attacks churches that don't cause more waves.
We know that their are fraudulent pastors and prophets {jer 3} but in Matthew 7:15 where JESUS warned us of their existance, did He at any time tell us to help him fight with them? No, all he said was "BEWARE OF." Foolish judges check verse 1 of that quotation above.
Let all the foolish-free thinkers go to hell with their pervet thoughts.

Hello! Everyone, it is nice to find that you really want to help.
Before i proceed, let me inform you that The university of Maiduguri has yesterday released first admission list for Remedia programs.
Now, my younger brother is expecting his name in either 2nd or 3rd list. But accommodation is a serious threat.
He has been seeking admission for years now and finally we are sure of his admission into remedia program in that school but we have no one there to accommodate him and the school does not give hostel accommodation to remedia student since there names are still written with pencil.
I therefore appeal to all Nairalanders to come to my aid. If you are currently a student in unimaid or have someone there who can help, please drop your email or phone number and i will contact you to know if my brother can stay with you for a while till he gets his own accommodation.
Please i urgently need your response so that we can plan ahead of time.
I assure you of my younger brother's good and comely character and promise to take full blame for any misbehaviour you may sense in him but i assure you that you will never regret rendering this help to us.
Please be kind-hearted by helping us if you can and my God will surely help you too.
If you want to contact me personally, my email remains: salisfelix@yahoo.com and number is 08094301125.
Thanks.
BusinessRe: I Need Advise On How To Invest 10 Million Naira In Nigeria. by Fant(m): 8:50pm On Jul 19, 2010
@poster. Your request is a good one and worthy of response. But you must be very careful if you wouldn't want to lose the money.
Now let me advice you and all who are watching this topic.
I know of an investment which can pay you double of any amount you invest within a period of 22 working days. This is where most of my investment capital go to and it is paying me off well.
You may not beleive this but it is the truth. They use your money for forex trading and other business. When you invest, all you need do is go to sleep while your money works for you and at the end of 22 working days, you get 100% interest on your money.
The only problem you may have is that this business is done in Kaduna state Nigeria. So if you want to invest your money, you will need to travel down to this state or get a relation or friend whom you can entrust with your money and stays in this state or can help you travel to the state for this investment.
Check: http://miriammosesventures.com
if you found this info helpful but need more info from me, email me on: salisfelix@yahoo.com. Or call me on: 08094301125.
Secondly since your money is a bit huge, i will also suggest that you use some part of it to invest in landed properties. Buy some plots of land in some of the rural areas in Nigeria at a cheap rate with the anticipation that these areas will develop soon. When your anticipation comes to fulfilment, many companies, banks, churches, schools and even government will start bidding for these lands. Then, you will be amazed selling just a plot of land for some good millions.
I presently stay in Kaduna state and at your request, i can help you locate some good site for your inspection and consequent purchase.
Don't make the mistake of investing all the money in one thing only.
Make the wisest choice.
GOOD LUCK.
