Search for "erukulele" and "Igbemo Plantainville" on the search engine and you will notice that his posts started from 1978. He solicited for fund for cultivation of Plantain and promised investors return on investment. After collecting funds from unwary investors, he created a WhatsApp group. He paid investors once and thereafter absconded. He refused to pay back investors capital and return on investment. He is now back thinking investors he defrauded would have forgotten.

He is telling the truth.

I haven't received a dime for the investments I made in the plantain and rice farms since 2018.

This is 2021, I still haven't gotten a dime for my investment or even my capital and yet you're selling rice?

Sorry for the late reply.

To your question: No, I haven't found any knowledgeable technician. Please let me know if you do.

My dear u can use the link below;

http://sec.gov.ng/non-mandated/

Hint: On the search area, kindly type in ur names in full. (in the correct order u used while opening ur brokerage A/C)
It should bring up the names of all the companies/stocks u have outstanding dividends.
...and u should get an original pdf copy of the e-dividend mandate form when u click on the company registrar to the right of each stock.
Next download and print the ones u need, fill the forms correctly and proceed with a copy to ur bank for attestation, stamping and possible signature confirmation.
Then scan and send the form(s) via mail to the registrars. ...or take the form(s) in person to their office.
Finally, always fellow up with the registrar (either thru mails or calls), until ur bank A/C is credited accordingly.

Good luck to u my dear !!
Thank you very much.

Aloaye:

Search Google for the registrar of your company, visit your registrars website to download the e-dividend form. Fill and go to your bank to append their stamp and signature as proof of the account to receive your dividends. Submit this to your registrar either by email or physical copy.

Caveat: I sent by email to First Registrars for Fidelity Bank dividend but still expecting payments and no replies to my emails. What a country
Thanks alot

Does anyone in the house invest in the fbn fixed income fund? What has your experience been like? Is the ROI higher than that for the MMF?

Welcome bro.

On the issue of dealing with trust, I will give you two ways we handle it.

1. There is a third part company here that handles recruitememt of operators for people and use their own process to ensure you always get paid. In this case, your contract is with the company not the operator. Whatever means they use to control their operators isn't your business, all you need is to get your money regularly as agreed. I know many people who use their services.

However, I don't use them bc i have my own way.

2. You can set things in motion yourself.
This is the process i use.
Firstly, I will get locals who are interested, we discuss the hire purchase price and agree to weekly payments.
I will follow you to your place and know your parents or guardians.
We will proceed to draft the agreement through a lawyer and the operator will bring two guarantors who must have known office or viable means of income.
I will take the operator to a divisional police station where my friend is the DPO and he will sign as a witness and inform the operator that he will swiftly move-in on him if he tries nonsense of non payment as agreed.

Finally and most importantly, the operator will deposit at least two weeks money(30k) as initial deposit and our agreement will expressly state that any week he fails to pay, he will lose the initial deposit and all other deposits and I will be entitled to collect my tricycle too.

The bottom line is: operators are controlled with fear.
It's not as if all of them will have the intention to do bad even without these agreements but you must take precautions.

Ask more questions here if you have any.
I'm quite interested in this business but don't have the time to manage it.
What is the name of this third party company?
Where are they located?
How do they operate?

What's your critertia for this conclusion? Group was set up to answer pertinent questions and not to bombard members with irrelevant messages. If you have a question, post it and it will be responded to. Many on the group still prefer a 1-1 chat so you may not be seeing everything there on the platform.
That's not a whatsap group, it is for personal use.
Create a whatsap group where investors can interact with one another. It would increase the credibility of this scheme and ensure greater transparency.

Won't anyone give me pointers on where to start?

Gurus in the house, some advice on fundamentally sound dividends paying stocks would be much appreciated

You think so? Not when it comes to NSE. I don't have issues with the guy being long on stocks but he shouldn't think he can just buy and go to sleep. Periodic review and regular diagnosis of health check of hIs portfolio is seriously recommended so that he won't come back here and be telling us stories that touch.. grin

My one cent
You're right. Of course, I don't intend to buy shares and then go to sleep. I would be doing periodic checks on my portfolio to ensure that it doesn't become redundant but my fundamental strategy is to buy and hold for the long term.

Anyone with that mindset will hardly loose in the stock market.
Thanks

Thanks.

Any advice on fundamentally sound stocks that I could look to investing for the long term? As I stated earlier, I don't intend to trade them for capital gains, just buy slowly over time and hold for as long as they provide dividends.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by fantasy7800: 6:40pm On Jul 07, 2017
Hello everyone,
I am looking to buy stocks in high-growth companies that consistently pay good dividends with a view to generating passive income from the dividends accruable to the purchased shares. I don't intend to trade the shares, just hold them for as long as they provide some income.
Is there any online platform that allows this sort of individual investing without the need to be physically present coz I live in a semi-rural area where I am unlikely to find a brokerage firm.
Any ideas? Any advice?

Hello house,
I have decided that rather than save money in the bank, I should invest in a money market fund. Could anyone please provide information on what MMF can be purchased, monitored and easily redeemed online without needing to walk into the premises of any financial institution?

I need an academic writer proficient in Harvard referencing style for an urgent writing job. You'd also need to have a laptop, stable internet connection and an alternative source of power. If you have all of these, please drop your contact and I'll get back to you.
