Emefiele and useless Buhari have completely Nuked the little working monetary system we had ..... Someone like me had long seen the dangers of this needless currency swap clearly engineered by the hyper useless and paranoid Buhari, this same policy Nuked the naira in the 80s and Buhari still didn't learn his lesson and stiill the mentally deranged Buhari still implemented it again just months to expiration of his hellish regime .....I don't see how the naira is ever going to recover from this except for some miracle

Never been am APC supporter and would never ..i am just someone who can sense problems from afar , when I tell you something is nonsense then believe me it's nonsense...I still don't see how this cash thing is affecting Tinubu but rather its people like you it's affecting, by weekend the nonsense would have caused irreparable inflation across all sectors amd na you e go affect no way Tinubu ...only low IQ will make someone believe the cash swap misadventure will affect Tinubu, how ?

Yes when I look at their performance in comparison to these politicians...these politicians can't even complete 35kms of road in years but Dem IBB built a whole city from the ground in just 5 years , built third mainland, carried out massive rural electrification and rural water supply with less than a quarter of what these politicians spend

I have been watching and reading in the news about people struggling and some fighting to collect new naira notes from the ATM and I just laugh thinking it’s all comedy.

I called my aged mum in Nigeria today and I sincerely cried . My mum is almost 80, she is retired and she was in the bank today to get her small pension. She has no money like ZERO money at home to buy groceries. She got to the bank and the queue outside was terrible and it wasn’t even dispensing yet people were queuing for ATM that wasn’t dispensing . I told her to speak with the security guys if they will allow her access to the bank , they still denied her access . Eventually she promised to sort one of the security guys at the gate when she is done if she was allowed in the bank. She was finally allowed in and I was happy that the hurdle was over .

She got in the bank and it’s another long long queue , it got to my mums turn and she was trying to withdraw just #20,000 of her OWN money and they told her they can only offer her #5,000 , I was on the phone with her and I was boiling .

The terrible part is that she was NOT given new notes . The #5000 she got were old torn 50 naira notes amounting to 5000. I was screaming over the phone at my mum not to collect the old naira note that it is useless, and then she said how will she eat if she didn’t get the money. I started crying . Like how can you be rich and be poor? How can you have money in your account and it is not accessible?

E no go better for Buhari and every other individual that is supporting this evil government.
If not that my mum is stubborn and doesn’t like to stay here, we wouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense . I just bought her ticket to come here next month and this time she didn’t even argue .
If you guys like , vote whoever in February, I don’t care. I just want my mum alive till March 7 when she leaves to come down here.

Yea but on this particular one, I support this lunatic. While will you hoard billions upon billions. Even if you stole billions or collected billions as ransom, you should have found way to incorporate it back into the system rather than hoard it and use it for oppression, supporting crime and illicit trades.

At first I worry cost I understand the cost implication and the scarcity effect but then I realized the pro outweighs the cons. All those terrorist that think the have made so much much from their crime against humanity, all those kidnappers who even killed after collecting ransom, all those bags billions of naira in containers, sceptic reservoirs, farms and other place just because they have refused to trust and make the system work, will all their loots now be useful for them when you think of the tears and blood they caused to flow?

Election is around the corner, all those monies stashed and hoarded will be use to buy and intimidate people's votes. They will be used to buy election tribunal judgements and Supreme verdicts. How can a country or system work under such mentality....

Me now that am pure, I don't have issues walking into the bank cos I don't have billions stashed. I have gone cashless since such that when the naira redesign policy was been enforced, I didn't have any issues at all and am sure it will be the case for anyone who has nothing to hide. Even if I have billions, I would still have been dropping it gradually before now such that upon this policy, it will be less stressful. Na those who wan dey keep cash go see meme.
