Did u know that;

1..The total population of Israel is 9.3M.

2..Of the above population, 1.7m are Muslims representing 18% while Christians are just 185,000 equivalent to 1.9%. While Jewish religion adherents have about 73.6% of the total population.

3..From the above figures, it could be seen that Israeli Muslims are nine times more than Israeli Christians in Israel.

4..The Israeli Defense Force has an army of 169,500 (active personnel). Of this number, only 150 are Christians while Muslims are 606, the rest are Jewish Adherents.
5.. 40% of #Jerusalem are Palestinians.

As the War rages, know that people are dying and only the bigots will pray for Palestinians to be wiped or the Israel to be wiped.

This useless statistics is what the pained renegades love to bandy about to mitigate their suffering and water down the support of Christians to Israel
Religion / Why Did God Make Space So Large? Dr. Leke Alder Wonders by farem: 7:10pm On Oct 15, 2023
I wonder why God made space so large. Space is unimaginably huge.
Never mind those illustrations of our solar system, the planets are REALLY REALLY RE-ALLY far apart.

The distance between Planet Neptune and the Sun is 4.5bn kilometers. (Neptune is the last planet). The distance between the Sun and the very edge of our solar system - the Heliopause, where our sun's influence ends is 18bn kilometers.

Our galaxy is 100,000 light years in diameter. A light year is 946073047258080128 kilometers. Multiply that by 100,000. (I dare your calculator). It will take 155 million years to cross our galaxy with our fastest spacecraft. And our galaxy is one of the smallests. It contains anywhere between 100bn to 400bn suns. (Suns are what we call stars). Estimated number of people who have ever been born is 117bn. That means each of us can be gifted 1-3 suns. Imagine the energy potential. It's estimated our sun will begin to die 4.5bn years from now. Could be more. It's actually a thermonuclear reactor. It's been burning fuel for 4.6bn years.

So why did God create these huge things? Is he showing off his greatness, or is it that he's just incapable of thinking small? Or maybe he's just conducting a large scale experiment. For all we know the universe may just be a lab! Let's hear your thoughts.

Celebrities / 35TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - Evang Mike Bamiloye Shares Testimony, Eulogises Wife by farem: 3:17pm On Oct 08, 2023
THROWBACK: OCTOBER 8TH, 1988, ENGAGEMENT DAY.

Very Innocent and humble girl.
Age: 24 Years Old.
The man she said she would marry had no tangible job but acting of drama up and down.
The families were so skeptical and would have rejected this plan, but these young boy and girl said hey wanted to marry.
This girl was entering into a future which only God knew.

Me: 28 Years Old.
Full time drama minister and no other job. Owing my Landlord about nine months house-rent at the time I entered into full time ministry.
It was Families who rose up to support this wedding o.
Because, me, I had nothing. No money, no nothing.
It was my Big Sister who rented our first house for us, so that we would not come and be living in her house.
And it was my wife's Uncle who gave a little money to do some little things.
It was my Best Man who bought my Suit, Shirt and tie.
It was my Wife's Aunty who sent us the Shoes I wore from America.
It was one of our ministry members who gave us the money we deposited for the Wedding gown, because we had gone to three places where we wanted to rent a Wedding Gown for N500.
It was the money we saved we used to deposit for our furniture for the living room.
Forget about bed.
A mattress was good for us for the first five or six months.
It was all the money gift we were dashed on Wedding Day we used to balance some debts and outstanding of the WEdding.
So, the following Week on Saturday, when we were going to meet the rest Mount Zion brethren in Ilesa for drama ministration, GLORIA and I stood beside the road waiting for miracle of a car lift to Ilesa, because there was no money on us again:
A WEEK AFTER WEDDING!

If you see what this Innocent Girl has passed through in the hand of a man who had no tangible job in hand, but to be acting drama up and down...
Well...
Fast forward to many years later.
35 years later...
This Girl has still remained faithful and still following the Young Man Up and Down.
Still remains Submissive and Understanding.
And Now, today, this Young Innocent Girl is still following the Young Man Up and Down around the World.
And even till yesterday...
Even up till Today and Tomorrow and
She will still follow till Jesus Come and till Rapture and till Millennium Era and Eternity.

God bless This Young Innocent Girl,
For still Following this Man around Up and Down!
JUST FOLLOWING ME UP AND DOWN!
Now we are Grand Father and Mother as we still go up and down in the Vineyard of the Lord.
GOD BLESS YOU FOR STILL FOLLOWING ME!

Ogbomoso relies on law, not Ifa, to choose Oba- Areago, debunks Ipebi is ritualistic.

By Femi Ogunlana

The Areago of Ogbomosoland, High Chief Sobalaje Otolorin, has dispelled the rumour doing the round that the newly installed Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, is currently locked up in some secluded mystical rooms in the palace undergoing the mandatory ritualistic ipebi rites for seven days in order to fortify him and confirm his status as new King of the famed City of Valour. That is how it is expected to pan out according to the Yoruba tradition and customary belief. So, not a few have slammed and mocked the new monarch for submitting to such “fetish” practice being a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It is perceived as an abomination and he is mournfully looked at as having failed the Christian precepts. The seven-day rite it is believed, involves offering of blood sacrifices, pouring of satanic libations, performing of frightening rituals, making of incisions on his body and all fetish things considered abominable to either a Christian or Muslim moreover an acclaimed cleric of high rank. However, in this interview by ogbomosoinsightonline.com on Monday the Areago, who is also the head of the kingmakers, debunks the insinuation describing it as mere speculation. He notes different communities have their tradition and customs which guide the installation of a new king while emphasizing dynamism is an exciting feature identified with the world. He stresses the seclusion rites being undergone by Oba Pastor Ghandi Olaoye, if at all it contains aspects of rituals, is about invocation of prayers – for him and for the city, for prosperity, for peace and tranquility; and that if there are libations poured they are supplications to God to provoke blessings. In similar vein, he counters the notion that Ifa oracle was consulted before Ghandi was selected underlining the fact that rather than Ifa, the Chiefs Law and Soun Chieftaincy Declaration constitute the instruments that guided his selection, quipping that Ifa consultation is not captured in the laws guiding selection of Soun, describing those he calls rumour peddlers as mischief makers any rational person will disregard. . He also urges those aggrieved to let go of their grudges and embrace peace positing only one person can sit on the throne at a time.

Excerpts:

Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III
A pastor undergoing ritualistic rites in seclusion (ipebi) is seen as something abominable, can you shed light on what the ‘seclusion’ is all about?

The ipebi they are mentioning is not part of our tradition in Ogbomoso. Because the new king is at his residence or the place he chose observing the tradition. There are adherents of the three main religions in Ogbomoso, will you now tell me a Muslim will kill another human being for sacrifice because he is performing rites to become king? And neither a Christian nor a traditional worshiper do that, it is just figment of imagination. So, there is no truth in it, it is unfounded rumour. Rather, prayers are being offered at the place.

It is also said Oro worshipers are out and that anyone who falls victim is sacrificed to pave way for the new king, how true is this?
It is another wicked lie. The custodian of Oro in Ogbomoso is Baale Ijeru chieftaincy family and no one contacted them for Oro outing. We don’t celebrate Oro in Ogbomoso unless during its festival. Or have you seen Oro or any sign of it since the Oba went into seclusion? They are just amusing themselves and feeding their ignorance
So, religious leaders are visiting the place of seclusion to offer prayers!
People have access to him. We have a strict outline for that.
And he is not undergoing supernatural fortification presently, that is what we thought too.

Nothing like that. It is mainly rituals of prayers. Muslim clerics will go there, Christian clerics too and traditional religion clerics. They pray for him and for the city for progress and prosperity. That is the outlook; he is not in the palace, it is not anything hidden. Another embellishment of the process is to impart him with the culture, customs and traditions of the town, the mannerisms of the Soun, histories of the community, the festivals and things like that. His memory is refreshed with these teachings. Even for someone who has lived all his life in Ogbomoso that aspect is mandatory, he needs to undergo the learning, refresher process.

After that we now have what we call ikije or iwuye, what is the significance of that?

You have spent seven days in seclusion, first seven days as the Soun, you are now entrenched and well acquainted with your new role and you come out to celebrate it. If it is a chief you come out to prostrate before the kabiyesi in appreciation after which merriment begins.

So, during ikije/iwuye ceremony, the Oba will be decorated with (akoko) leaves as symbol of his new title because all the photos that emerged after the installation did not show any with leaves?

No, no, no! In Ogbomoso, we don’t install the Oba using leaves, that is customary with installation of chiefs but not the Oba. Rather, we have Igba Iwa (calabash) that contains various items which the persons who pass it over the king’s head must not also look at; we chiefs also undergo that at our installation.
What about the visit to the ape tree and climbing/crossing of a symbolic ladder?
All those have been observed.

People are also wondering why or how Ifa oracle will choose a pastor to be king!
Ogbomoso doesn’t consult Ifa when it comes to selection of its king. Ask them, did Ifa choose Itabiyi? Did Ifa choose Ladunni? (The two are the immediate predecessors of the new King). How many past Obas in Ogbomoso did Ifa choose? They were chosen by the kingmakers after which they were enthroned. So, we don’t have such embedded in our tradition! But that does not mean traditional worshipers will be denied their rights, we all own the town together. But we don’t consult Ifa in Ogbomoso when choosing our monarch, rather the kingmakers use their discretion guided by certain criteria. In addition, there is the Soun Chieftaincy Declaration that guides us on how to get it done. And mind you the Chieftaincy Declaration does not mention consultation with Ifa oracle at all, so, we are guided solely by the declaration.
Those bitterly and fiercely challenging the selection of Oba Ghandi claimed you usurped their role by not allowing them to make the selection.

Yet they could not come up with a candidate and forwarded twenty three names, if they could resolve it they would have picked only one person. It is the role of kingmakers to make the final selection in the case the family is not able to arrive at one person. Even in the Chieftaincy Declaration it is stated explicitly that if the person they chose is not suitable in our estimation we ask for another person. But in this case they transmitted twenty names.

The Areago;

Twenty three or eleven names?
Listen. That is not our concern, we received 23 names, the list was attached to their report given to the local government and which they copied us. The list is the same no difference, they listed the 23 persons who bought forms, and the law did not say they should screen anyone if no one accepted to step down. But in the situation each bloc wants his person to emerge, if they had brought only one person there wouldn’t have been problem but they brought several names and we used our discretion guided by the declaration, we chose the one we felt is manly, is most suitable. Many also like to accuse us of taking bribe. There was nothing like that. Prince Ghandi did not bribe anyone at all. We chose him based mainly on merit. But whoever likes to live in denial of that is free.
You went ahead to install the new king despite an injunction restraining the action? Is that not contempt?

We did not receive any exparte order in regard of that. If we were served the order we dared not go against it knowing the implication but no one served us anything like that. So, we see it as rumour because up till now nobody has served us any restraining order and it is even belated now since the installation has been carried out. We thank the governor for the approval and since he granted the approval, the kingmakers who have the mandate to nominate and install the king saw no reason delaying the installation any longer. When the approval was not granted did you see us proceeding with the installation?

Do you think Ogbomoso people are happy and satisfied with the installation especially with the person who emerged because of the insinuation of crisis?

Come on Thursday and verify this at the iwuye ceremony. On Friday, we didn’t inform anyone or make any announcement we would be performing the installation ceremony but look at the massive crowd that thronged the palace that we had to lock the gate of the palace at a point.

During the installation, advice for the people of Ogbomoso and the new King?

I enjoin everyone to cooperate and unite for the progress and development of Ogbomoso. Also, I plead with the people aggrieved to sheathe their sword. They should imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship, it’s a game in which only one winner will emerge. It could have been anyone.

They should realize that if another person had been selected others too would have come up with reasons to also challenge the process.

They should be placated. We pray the new King will not disappoint us. I am assured Ogbomoso will witness monumental development during the reign of the new King even beyond our expectation.

Did you just say luxurious lifestyle? Poverty is a bastard. You mean Mr Ghandi will retire into government luxury or luxurious lifestyle retiring into him!

GOD TOLD ME I WAS BORN FOR THIS
-Pastor Ghandi Olaoye

The new Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, has cleared the air concerning his ascension to the stool of his forefathers, claiming that he accepted the role because God told him to do so.

Speaking to members of his Church in a video posted on Facebook, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Washington DC pastor said he did not accept his new role because he had nothing else to do.

Hinting that he had planned to retire from the pastoral ministry after 30 years of service, Olaoye said his plan was to travel the world after his retirement.

He, however, said he was born into a royal family and entitled to the throne of Ogbomoso.

Olaoye, who apologised to his members for “any embarrassment” they might have “felt by what has been happening on social media,” saying he was “genuinely sorry,” explained that he had served at Jesus House for 26 years and the Church had become his family.

Olaoye said, “While I was in Nigeria in December, the king of our town died. I’m really close to the family because, like I said, I’m from a royal family.

“After the Oyewumis, the Ajagungbades…my family is next. Everybody from Ogbomoso who is familiar with the tradition knows that. And I, of course, knew about that.

“But I was not interested in it at all, because I believed that I had gone on a completely different part.”

Olaoye said his father also never told him that he could become the Soun of Ogbomoso if he wanted to be, so he never had any intention of becoming the king of the ancient town.

He said people close to him and knew his family was the next to ascend the throne began to call him and to ask him to consider taking up the throne.

Olaoye said he called his spiritual father, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, to intimate him of the situation. He said when he told Adeboye that he was not interested, the G.O. asked him not to say that but to fast and pray about it.

He said he did not take the advice seriously as he did not pray about it.

He, however, said that he heard God tell him on January 2, 2022, that becoming the Soun of Ogbomoso was his destiny.

The next thing I heard, clearly, ‘You were born for this; this is the reason for your birth.’

“That’s what I heard. Of course, that’s not what I was expecting. But, let me tell you this, when I hear, I am 10/10” he said.

Politics has it's place and the traditionalists too have their place.

In Yorubaland (except for the emirate in Ilorin), you are allowed to blend religions. Alaafin Lamido combined traditionalism with Islam. Ooni Aderemi and Sijuwade both combined Traditionalism with Christianity.

Your why below:

Keep deceiving yourself!
What you claim they are mixing are two parallel lines. So for you to believe certain guys mixed them show your shallowness of your understanding of Christianity

Burna Boy Has Done Nothing By Himself That Can Be Remotely Described As Great - Actor, Patrick Doyle

Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has said that the recognition singer Burna Boy has continued to enjoy is undeserved.

Doyle, in a post on Facebook Wednesday, slammed the Grammy-award-winning artiste, noting that the singer has "done nothing by himself that can be remotely described as great."

The actor continued saying veteran acts like Sunny Ade, Fela Anikulapo and I.K Dairo, paved the way for the likes of Burna, who need to be "respectful of their diligent and truly pioneering predecessors."

His post read, "The credit for the feats that appear to be puffing the likes of Burna Boy up have to be properly ascribed to the greats who cleared the thorny paths that have created pathways for his likes to walk through practically effortlessly.

"Burna Boy has not by himself done anything that can be remotely described as great.

"He and his peers are recipients of the labours of heroes past. They need to be humble and respectful of their diligent and truly pioneering predecessors.

"Great artistes like Sunny Ade, Fela Anikulapo, Majek Fashek, I. K. Dairo, and a galaxy of others who paved the way from the 60s, to the 2000s. Greatness and great feats don't exist in a vacuum.

"Let us not contribute to the creation of an arrogant and obnoxious monster."

Nigerian Flag Designer, Pa Akinkunmi Dies At 93

His demise was announced via the Facebook account of one of his children.

A nonagenarian who designed Nigeriam flag, Pa. Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi (OFR), is dead.

Pa. Akinkunmi, aged 93, died in the early hours of Tuesday after a brief illness.

His demise was announced via the Facebook account of one of his children.

He wrote, “Life is indeed transient; I can say boldly that you live a life with a landmark. Continue to rest, my father! Pa Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi (O.F.R.): Great Man has gone.”

Pa Akinwumi, a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State, was born on May 10, 1936, but lived in Ibadan until his demise.

He attended Baptist Day Secondary School, Ibadan, for his Primary education and Ibadan Grammar School, Ibadan, for his Secondary education.

He started his career as a Civil Servant at the Secretariat of Ibadan and later travelled overseas to study Agricultural Engineering at Norway Technical College.

In 1958, during his stay abroad, Akinkunmi stumbled upon an advertisement in a national daily calling for the submission of designs for the Nigerian national flag in view of Nigeria’s imminent Independence from British governance.

His entry was adjudged the best among the roughly 2,000 entries submitted.

The original design of the flag featured a white band flanked by two green ones, and a red sun with streaming rays was located on the white band.

The sun was eventually done away with by the overseeing committee to produce the present design.

Akinkunmi’s design was selected because of its ingenuity and profundity (the green bands represent the forests and abundant natural wealth of the country, while the white band represents peace).

The flag was officially hoisted on Independence Day (October 1, 1960) instead of the British Union Jack.

Akinkunmi was awarded 100 pounds by the government when his design was selected.

He has also been honoured with the MON (Member of the Order of the Niger) Award by President Goodluck Jonathan.

No seminars or conferences can change looters. The ONLY conference we need for our leaders is to stop stealing. If this is achieved, in less than ten years, other countries will rush into Abuja or Lagos to attend "conference for good governance"
