Angola Overtakes Nigeria in Crude Oil Production Nigeria’s crude oil production fell by 250,000 barrels per day (bpd) in November, making the country lose its status as Africa’s top oil producer to Angola, latest data from the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has shown.Nigeria recorded the biggest drop in output in November among its peers in OPEC, followed by Saudi Arabia, the group’s biggest producer.http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/angola-overtakes-nigeria-in-crude-oil-production/228098/ |
well, an alarming number of Americans are quite dumb, it worries me that Nigeria based their system of governance on the American system... it will mean even as Nigeria grows, an alarming number of Nigerians will remain dumb? |
funny but seems unlikely, he is a business man and will only protect his business not get involved in a war... |

ABORTION SHOULD NOT BE ILLEGAL, BECAUSE THE STATS SHOWS THAT A LOT MORE GIRLS DIE AS A RESULT OF THIS KIND OF LAWS THAN, IF ABORTION WAS LEGAL AND GIRLS MADE THE CHOICES FOR THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF GOVERNMENT MAKING IT FOR THEM. ABORTION CAN BE DONE SAFELY BUT BECAUSE WE CRIMINALIZE IT, MORE PEOPLE RUN TO QUARK DOCTORS AND END UP DEAD AS A RESULT. BTW, THEY IS NO PLACE IN THE BIBLE THAT IS AGAINST ABORTION FOR YOU BIBLE NUTS. |
Godswill Akpabio has won the appeal court ruling contrary to what was earlier reported by Sahara Reporter.

Confusion Trails Senator Akpabio's Election The election of the former governor of Akwa Ibom state and the Senate minority leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has not been nullified by the Federal Court of Appeal contrary to earlier reports. Sahara Reporters had reported that Akpabio was thrown out of the Senate because of what the court described as ”violations to the Electoral Act during the senatorial election between Mr Akpabio and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Inibehe Okori.’‘ Naij.com had expressed reservations on the report because of the timing as courts are not known to sit late in the night. APC’s Inibehe Okori had approached the court challenging the judgement of the trial tribunal which upheld the disputed March 28 Akwa Ibom North West senatorial election in which Akpabio of the PDP was declared winner. The three man Appeal Court panel had earlier berated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for what it says is ”it’s public display of partisanship and failure to remain neutral as an independent electoral umpire and wondered why the commission should cry more than the bereaved in the suit.” Below are some reactions to the fake report by the official twitter handle of the Peoples Democratic Party: Why the Confusion? https://www.naij.com/663643-court-appeal-nullifies-akpabios-election-orders-re-run.html |
I had a gf and still passed very well... I suppose it depends on the quality of gf, you have... |

TheImp:well, I doubt it is about liberal view... it's more about science and facts, and I am quite sure, you don't know me, so you can't possibly be sure about my accomplishments, the fact remains, Ben Carson is dimwitted as evidence by some of the views he has displayed throughout his campaign but perhaps, that's what intelligence means to people like you, because I never blindly support anyone, irrespective of who they are, I will not deny him his accomplishments as a doctor, but I will not claim that every other crab he's said is consistence with the facts... For instance, Donald Trump said that vaccines can cause autism and instead of correcting Trump, he accepted it, that is false information and he as a doctor knows that, but in the name of politics, he betrays scientific facts. |
naijapips02:well, you are clearly the stup*d one, because there are no evidence of grains being stored in the pyramids, also were the embalmed dead bodies of past kings found in the pyramids for eating too? Just because he was a good doctor doesn't make him supremely intelligent, as he as obviously showed throughout this presidential race that I have religiously followed, he is dumb about most things unrelated to what he studied in school. |
RICHESTBABA:okay, you will have to travel around all Niger Delta states and the local government areas to tear ballot papers, go luck with that... |
uchedydy:it is possible to beware of a crime with having sufficient proof... for instance, if you are the only witness to a crime, you don't have video or other evidence, just you memory to relay on, that may not be sufficient evidence for the country... But even if you have sufficient evidence, if the judge decides to deny you the affidavit because he or she is corrupt, you'll still get to go to jail for posting it, this is especially possible in a place like Nigeria, because our public officers are easily corruptible... The Law, I would propose to for this false attacks by Newspapers, which is obviously the problem, not social media, is that any news organisation that publishes false allegations (i.e. has passed through their editorial) should be fined by a regulatory organisation, it will encourage the Newspapers to clearly investigate claims they make, or specify when they are just speculating. |
lofty900:well, that's a bold claim, because you have to perform a brain test on my generation to prove your claim... but someone who believes the pyramids of Egypt where built to store grains... and that Obamacare is worse than slavery. I am quite sure my generation are not that dumb... |
uchedydy:Well, it is hard to get affidavit, if you are a whistleblower going against the government, don't be navie about the politics behind such moves, lawyers in bed politicians can block people from releasing evidence of fraud and corruption, in a place like Nigeria, a judge that comes across such files can contact politicians for favours as payment to block such publications... there are numerous evils that such a bill could unleash on free speech... In Turkey for instance, President Erdogan had a 14 year old boy arrested and prosecuted for criticizing the president on his Facebook page... https://news.vice.com/article/turkey-is-prosecuting-two-kids-for-ripping-down-posters-of-president-erdogan |
hahaha! WE KNOW APC, IS TO RIP-OFF NIGERIA, PROMOTE SHARIA LAW AND ALIENATING SECTIONS OF THE COUNTRY... KEEP SCAMMING THOUGH! |
NO!!! THAT DIMWITTED DOCTOR? WHY? WHEN OBAMA DID HIS BEST TO AVOID AFRICA... |
yes! Now is the best time because prices a low, Nigerians will barely notice it, if done well.... |
Regulate? that is a fancy term, for blocking free speech, especially in a place like Nigeria, any law the penalizes free speech in Nigeria, it going to end up a disaster, no matter how well intentioned it maybe... In Turkey for instance, President Erdogan had a 14 year old boy arrested and prosecuted for criticizing the president on his Facebook page... https://news.vice.com/article/turkey-is-prosecuting-two-kids-for-ripping-down-posters-of-president-erdogan |
initiate:Well, hate to tell you, but you can't speak for all Niger Deltans... We have to put it to a vote in Niger Delta, if there is an option to go, does Niger Deltans choose to leave Nigera... and majority, will obviously win... |
nkemdi89:Implicate myself in what... I said I would believe it... I didn't say it was a fact and I was there, I believe it is very plausible, based of the previous history and understanding of Nigerian Security operatives. BTW, I guarantee it will be difficult to tell who I am by whoever wants to charge me for social media comments from behind their keyboard. |
very possible... but I would believe the DSS are doing it even more! |
dullard... |
Umana, PDP defectors destroying APC in Akwa Ibom, Udoedehe alleges Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator John Akpan udoedehe, has accused Chief Umana Okon Umana, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Akwa Ibo State in the last election, of engaging in acts capable of destroying the party in the state. The former minister, who was also the governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the 2011 general elections, further alleged that Umana in concert with defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are out to blackmail him out of APC for their selfish gains. Reacting to his alleged plan to join the PDP, Akpanudoedehe said the report was the handiwork of his political opponents to paint him black in the eyes of the people and the leadership of the party. He added that as a foundation member who toiled hard to popularise the progressive party in the state right from the ACN days in spite of threats to his life, he would not abandon the platform for those whom he described as “opportunists.” Speaking through one of his aides, Barrister Francis Effanga, the former Senator said: “We are not supposed to join issues with Umana Okon Umana and his small group of PDP defectors who have turned our party (APC) into a money-making machine for themselves. These people have tried severally to present the Leader of APC in Akwa Ibom State, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, as a violent person simply because he stands for what he believes in. “Senator Akpanudoedehe is the symbol of the struggle against the tyranical PDP government of Godswill Akpabio in which Umana Okon Umana was the engine room. Udoedehe midwifed the birth of APC right from the beginning. He has put in a lot to build the party and he has the right to jealousy guard it. Attempts therefore to blackmail him out of the party will not work. Udoedehe alleged that report of his purported plan to join the PDP was part of the plan by Umana and his group to keep the APC in Akwa Ibom divided. Noting that he has written several letters to the party’s National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, “to draw his attention to the lack of inclusiveness applied by Umana and his co-PDP joiners and the irrational, one-sided suspension of members by the state chairman of the party ostensibly on Umana’s instructions,” Udoedehe further alleged that the APC candidate had allegedly boasted that no founding member of the party would be part of the change that founding members of the party fought for. http://thenationonlineng.net/umana-pdp-defectors-destroying-apc-in-akwa-ibom-udoedehe-alleges/ |

... yah! stand there and died for your wonderful country, where the are no good roads, no healthcare, no good schools and the leaders steal all the money for themselves and send their children abroad, while you a gullible zombie dies in vain. All, Hail the Great Nigeria! |
He seems to be enjoying himself! |
PDP Did It, So It Is Okay For APC To Do ItWe are trying to move the country forward, Not move it in circles! I keep hearing this argument by Nigerians, it is dumb... There is a right way to do things and the is a wrong way to do things... if the two parties keep repeating the bad thing done by previous parties, well, we are stuck in a cycle of evil and not evolving as a country... |
