This EPA is serious business for Nigeria oo! it is the initiative that aims to make Africa a third world in perpetuity and Nigeria is a light for africa, though a dim light right now

Politics / Will Buhari Sell Nigeria Into Slavery At EU Meeting, EPA by Farnsworth: 5:48pm On Jan 28, 2016
EPA => “Enslavement Partnership Agreement

With the economic situation worsening in Nigeria the European Union are have been doing their best to ensure that Nigeria signs their economic future away with the EPA, which will ensure that the are even less jobs available for Nigeria, and destroying the fledgeling manufacturing sector within the country. It will amount to economic slavery and absolutely "NO" for any Nigerian Government to sign at a time like these.

The recent romance between EU and Nigeria with visits and invitation to speak at the EU parliament suggests that they are stepping up plans to force Nigeria in to these deal, within this deal Nigeria will have no say in it, because the EU will also serve as the regulator.

The Question Now is, will Buhari fall in to this trap?

Jonathan refused and stood firm when push came to shove, but now is time for Buhari to show if he truly has the interest of Nigeria first but this will not only amount to selling the economic future of Nigeria but the future of generations of Nigerians unborn.

I was never a slave in the first place, but I dislike haters like you, that unnecessary try to cause disunity to this country. People like you are responsible for the backwardness and lack of true federalism. you will all die a very painful dead

@daveante28

Even in the UK, they offer special VISA's for rich people that want to enter their country and invest. Mobil and other western oil companies have been operating in Nigeria for years, paying taxes and improving Nigerian economy, Everything from our favourite snacks to our favourite beer were set-up by foreigners as Nigerian companies paying their taxes and contributing to Nigerian economy, yet "Nobody" is complaining.

The factory is set up by non akwa ibom people and will employ akwa ibom people as cleaners , chefs .lol. the average akwa ibom IQ is around 30 .

that's very disrespectful and hateful towards Akwa Ibom. Have you conducted an IQ test in Akwa Ibom ever?. Factories are set up by private investors all over the world. A lot of factories are set up in Lagos and across the country and Akwa Ibom people do not hate. Akwa Ibom Govt. also previously commissioned peacock paint which is developed and managed by Akwa Ibomites. All this unnecessary hatred directed at a people who are known for their peaceful and welcoming personalities is very repulsive, maybe the Igbo's are right Nigeria has no business being "one", if Nigerians are working around with your mentality and tribalism.

I hope you die a very painful dead.

But bro, I once heard that the people of ibeno in akwa ibom mixed with ijaws. Is that true?

the only other distinct group we have in Akwa Ibom is a bit of Igbo, I am not sure about the mixed, but we are all a little bit mixed in the sub-region from wars, conquest and peace deals etc., but that doesn't make us ijaw.

Editing wikipedia is not hard. This is my origin and we are not Ijaw. People from other parts of the country are claiming us to be part of their tribe when we say we are not... you have probably never been to ibeno, you don't know our traditions or values yet we are somehow ijaw... Your claims only succeed in amusing us, you can do and independent DNA forecast.

Politics / 2015 Elections Highest Number Of Court Nullified Elections Nigeria's History by Farnsworth: 11:32am On Jan 21, 2016
2015 Elections the best elections ever performed in Nigeria and highly admired by the international community and across africa, such that Goodluck Jonathan as become a figure head of progressive democracy across Africa. Yet is has become the most court nullified election in the history of Nigerian democracy because of the APC's greed for oil states. The funniest part is the fact that court gave two different judgements for similar cases based on political parties, there even moved tribunal from most peacefully states in Nigeria to Abuja for easy manipulation, while tribunals from war torn regions in the country were deemed as save. Very shameful.

Ijaws are the riverine people of Southern Nigeria. They live by the waters cos they're mainly fishermen by tradition. Ijaws can be found in Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Ondo and even a fraction of them can be found in Benin Republic, Togo, Sierra Leone and Gabon. They're no doubt great travellers and very adventurous in nature.

Ijaws are one of the most detribalised ethnic groups in Nigeria. I remember when I was in Burutu last year, I was treated as one of them. One would not even be able to distinguish an indigene and myself cos I was treated like an indigene and given every privilege that was entitled to an Indigene. Whenever they go fishing, we were given fish and we always have fish pepper soup that day. The Chairman of that LGA always comes to check on us and even shares a drink with us. The youngest lawmaker in the history of Nigeria is an ijaw man by name Julius Pondi representing Burutu Federal Constituency. Ijaws are one of the most accommodating people in Nigeria and also ijaws are very brave. They're not afraid to take on anyone.

Someone on nairaland called ijaws land grabbers, boat dwellers, swamp settlers and drunken fishermen. How are ijaws land grabbers? Have they grabbed your land before? Ugomba should stop saying nonsense and calling my ijaw brothers land grabbers. Ugomba accused the ijaws of having an agenda. Please what agenda Ugomba? Why would ijaw want to grab your wastelands? Does your land have any economic value that ijaws would want to grab?

There are no Ijaw's in Akwa Ibom and Cross River state. Stop claiming other peoples land to avoid trouble stay in your side. Our states were carefully created to ensure that only our people live in it, Efik, Ibibio, Ananng, Oron, Eket, Obolo. None of us are ijaw. Leave us out of your fights and land grabs...

I would instigate tribal war... If I ever became president by the time I step down, half the population of Nigeria will be gone because since coming on NL, I have seen the true nature of the other people in Nigeria from Igbo's, to Yoruba's to Hausa's... I now have nothing but deep hatred for most of the other tribes in Nigeria now.

After 16 years we still a one product economy, even we cant even refine the oil we are going to use domestically.... So wat would they have done better o?

We were a one product economy under OBJ under GEJ the diversification was on course, in Agriculture we were almost self sufficient in rice by the end of his tenure, then he supported automotive industry as a diversification avenue, even nollywood was supported. "YouWin" that actually helped small start-up businesses to build strong middle class, Gej only implemented his plan for 4 years, ministers behaved with professionalism and could actually speak the English language properly. Gej, only failed in his handling of boko haram but in every other thing Nigeria was progressive and innovative. Jonathan's tenure over saw the Nigerian Army develop their own armoured personnel carrier. I think Nigerians are easily confused with propaganda, this is what the republicans in America use to employ to win elections, I think the Americans are the minds behind APC because the propaganda is so similar. The rest of the world are slowly catching up to these propaganda governments but since Nigerians are slow, it may take like 10 years before Nigerian even become suspicious.

Buhari made himself petroleum minister because he obviously, still believes that crude oil is the only thing and doesn't even show any sign or plans to diversify after 8 months.

Lie against the woman that piloted the Nigerian economy out of the global economic crisis, when the Americans and much of the western world were feeling the heat, Nigerians didn't feel it at all, then the APC governors took her to court after she warned that we should save for a rainy day. well, drop in oil prices is the rainy day she warned about, yet Nigerians turn around a demonize her...

More crazy shout of corruption to get the illiterates charged up, then start arresting Judges that refused APC bribes to create contradictory judgments... I will be very surprised if Nigeria doesn't crash and burn by 2019, certainly by 2019 the bloodshed during elections (that was practically non-existent in GEJ's tenure) will finish off any shred of unity and love that Nigeria had. Well, I hope many Nigerians die from all sides, maybe it serve as a lesson.
