kleek:I disagree, IQ test has little to do with the development of this countries... your choice to explain the lack of development in countries by IQ's reflects a lack of understanding of the factors which are relevant to development. IQ results are a function of the development and not vice-versa. Most of the problems that have faced African countries have little to do with the intelligence level and more to do with the inherent divisions between the ethnicities within Africa and individual interest. Meiji restoration is not a reflection of intelligence, is shows that japan was already a nation in their own right, however, Africans are now finding their national identities, because their identities were broken down and reconstructed abstractly, therefore what as obstructed development most in Africa is a lack of sustained periods of peace, As peace gradually returns to African countries, development follows as, it is evident that some of the fastest developing economies in recent years as been in Africa. |
WE NEED TO BE FEEDING MUCH OF WEST AFRICA! THE ONLY WAY TO MANAGE OUR HUGE POPULATION GROWTH IS PRODUCE MUCH OF OUR FOOD... |
IF YOU ARE COMPLAINING NOW, WAIT FOR 2019... |
DULLARDS |
well, that is bullshit! The IQ of different african countries are not the same, no extensive study of QI's relation to development... countries in Asia have the highest IQ's yet they still have some way to go... Africa will fight it's demons and slowly take it place in the world stage... selective reproduction? based on an IQ test? why not just kill people them, I hope you know IQ test are faulty too. Every society learns from past mistakes and slowly evolves, africans have independece not too long a ago, now slowly coming to terms with nationalism even with so much ethnic diversity, I say Africa is on the right track... nothing happens overnight... how many years before britain became what it is today after independece from rome? or Amerca after independece from Britain? things a progressing steadily... |
Not too long ago, former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio was involved in an accident and rushed abroad to an undisclosed hospital. Opponents of his party, especially members of the APC from Akwa Ibom State went wild with allegations, innuendos and counter allegations that the SPECIALIST HOSPITAL Akpabio commissioned was a scam and that there was no equipment in the hospital; neither was there any plans to make the hospital functionable. https://i1.wp.com/www.wetinhappen.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/12310661_946868218681732_2037680040202461827_n-e1448891129440.jpg?resize=700%2C394 Dr. Nick Nazirl explanning critical fucntions of the paperless laboratory to me while the Akwa Ibom state commissioner for Health Dr. Dominic Ukpong looks on It did not end there. The APC also accused Akpabio of double standards, insisting that he built an unequipped hospital in Uyo, which was why he could not get treatment in the hospital. Buttressing their wild allegations further, a video went viral on the net showing Akpabio being interviewed by one Gbenga Arulegba of the AIT, where Akpabio previously said the state had spent about 5billion for equipment in the hospital. Returning from his medical trip abroad, Senator Akpabio said he did not neglect the specialist hospital he built for treatment abroad. He further said that the hospital is completed, commissioned and ready for use but why operations were stalled was because medical experts and personnel engaged were still undergoing visa processes and work permit related issues. https://i0.wp.com/www.wetinhappen.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/12295411_946868472015040_4372061161848880912_n.jpg?resize=700%2C394 An India medical expert at the hospital After Akpabio’s well thought out explanation, many took it with levity while others did not buy it at all. Few days ago, I was on duty at the Akwa Ibom State International hospital to investigate and know the true state of the hospital. To my bewilderment, operations had started at the hospital with an avalanche of medical experts from India, Nigeria and other countries of the world. I spoke with the expatriates one after the other and was not only perplexed at the calibre of medical personnel engaged but also at the first class equipment which I saw and their functions. At this juncture, I must say without any iota of doubt or apology to anyone that I am so proud of former governor Godswill Akpabio for the hospital project. This project will see Europeans, Africans, and Nigerians coming to Akwa Ibom state for medical treatment. The hospital will be a money-spinner for the state and in no sooner time, the state will take over medical tourism in Africa. According to Dr. Adekanbi Remilekun, “Akwa Ibom people are blessed to have this kind of facility in their state”. while Dr. Nick Nazilrh, a Leparoscopy surgeon, said his family in Europe will have no other place for medical check up and treatment than in Akwa Ibom State. By this gesture, every right-thinking Akwa Ibom person should be proud of Senator Godswill Akpabio just as I am. |
its a free world... you can call anybody any name you which... example in UK people called Fmr Prime Minister "Margaret Thatcher" a Witch... the was even a party during her dead with the song "Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead". freedom of speech grantee's, you can speak you mind! |
Nigeria is suppose to be among the top 20 largest economies by 2020, do you thing we will make it? for those who don't know we are at 22 now! opinions below... |
Mrbigman1:hey, we were supose to be among the top 20 largest economies by 2020, do you thing we will make it? |
unitelligent? well, you sound unitelligent! |
well, APC in power and assasination now a thing... we are going back to the OBJ years? |
okay... |
kingzizzy:you're very right, however, I now believe that because the critisms of Nigerians was getting to GEJ and that he would have done better in his second term compared to now, because buhari doesn't even seem to care about nigerians lamentations, but just my guess! |
haha! Buhari feels like travelling, there is nothing you can do about it. |
well, based on the proceedings of the last 6 months, I am inclined to agree! |
obailala:How is Fuel scarcity not relevant to the argument, when you have clearly insinuated that I am a Jonathan supporter because I dispute the idea that money has been returned to Nigeria, if the central bank is not aware of it. Fuel subsidy was a keenly disputed policy by Buhari during his campaign. Fuel scarcity is due to subsidy, an idea which Buhari has claimed in the past is a lie, this is obviously dishonest for a leader. Buhari's government lacks transparency, something on the same scale as the OBJ presidency, he has invaded Akwa Ibom govt. declared to have found Guns and dollars in luggage bags, but then nothing, disobeyed judicially and display immense ignorance on power afforded to him by constitution, callous towards nigerians and failed to show any leadership in terms of policy direction. I don't care about politicians, I care about Nigerians and the future the young population we have because obviously this old dimwits are the architects of the failure Nigeria is today and Buhari is showing signs of making it, even worst for future Nigerians. |
well, Buhari just doesn't care about Nigeria... A serious president, will take time to know what is going on with minister through the meeting and monitor progress of key sectors... but it seem he is much more interested in travelling... |
obailala:who cares about Jonathan... poor Nigerians are sleeping at filling station, you are taking about a former president that probably has enough contacts to delivery fuel to him on the moon. Buhari is bloody failure! |
well, states with majority can implement and people who are non-Islamic in those states, got to federal which has jurisdiction over sharia courts! it is secular in the sense, they is religious freedom, and the religious freedom is not forced on people, who don't want it. |
INTROVERT:too early? hahaha! you are being dishonest... you'll probably be saying the same thing six months towards the end of his tenure... the Americans and most other countries in the world judge their president after 100 days in office, if you claim that the poor performance by this administration was caused by the previous administration, bare in mind that the 100 days benchmark is measured against "Franklin D. Roosevelt", who came in to office during the great depression, which is considerably worst than what we currently face economically in Nigeria! |
worst than any other civilian president's 6 months in charge in Nigeria |
of course, both Israel and turkey are american allies, but Israel didn't bomb it like turkey, a bit more matured reaction! |
NAIJASOM:well, Nigeria is Screwed! if oil is gone, Nigeria is bound to become a failed state, and the Northerners will feel the most pain, rightly so! |
pus22: millenniummillennium not equal to centenary... which is perhaps what you are referring to... |
Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala explained to the Bank that N18.60bn was spent on roads; N10.83bn spent on health; N7bn spent on education; N6.20bn spent on water; and N21.70bn spent on electricity. |
well, it added to national money wasn't it? |
wow, quite nice! rest well... |
who is the corrupt cow molester in the hat, he said money was returned yet the CBN/Finance minister have not heard of it... well, was it returned to his bank account because, if it was to the national account, CBN must know about it, because they maintain the accounts. |
well, At least he speaks like someone who is well educated and intelligent unlike some of our leaders, but I have to say I will quite pissed, if the first phase of the Ibom Deep Seaport not not done by the end of four years! |
well, you seem dumb! what does the millennium tower have to do with your theory! |
well, seems everyone is getting fed-up of the old scam artist! |
