Salary amount is not mention but we know many officers and their salary, i know a level 06 officer who collects 174k monthly and also i know some few officers 2 star that collects 260+, honestly is not a lie dat Ali has times their salary by 3 as a revenue generating agency with effect since January 2020, it's very difficult for the service to reveal their exact salary due to jealous from other sister agency and the rest maybe so dat ppl will not rely so much on their officers and more, the CGC has really transformed the service in terms of welfare and promotion of men and officers, but regarding this recruitment he doesnt care about the current condition of applicants, honestly many of the applicants are currently in bad stage due to customs lack of addressing d applicants about this recruitment, this is wickedness and honestly speaking it hurts

This is a clear sign of wickedness from Customs despite all our complains they refused to come out and address us as to ease our tension, NCS are taking lives of applicants for granted.

Instead of us to be planning on how our issue will make the media front lines we are here believing fake source, we have had many sources who predicting wrong, as it stands only official press release from NCS we should rely on, not d rumour dat has bn breaking our hearts, Ministry of Niger Delta has done their budget defence yesterday there were very tough questions for them to answer including their recruitment too, pls let's co operate and find a way to send our message to NASS before NCS will do their defence, if they scaled through without releasing our list honestly d recruitment might take a longer time

Leke Abejide said, during the meeting on September 14, 2021 that Nigeria Customs Service is 'Underfunded'. Even though he admits that all the commands are clamouring for more men, and also admitted that they are short of men.... That customs ought to have 30,000 officers but they currently have 15,000 officers in service.

No the funds for the recruitment of 3200 officers has already been given to the service, even before the approval of their 2021 budget the house ask the CGC to explain what happened to recruitment process because they gave them the funds, this year's budget defence for all agencies is coming up late November according to senate and NCS have to expalain about the recruitment if it is not concluded again, you can google for more info on that, and pls have anyone come across any rumour of another Customs board meeting coming up in November again?

Yes i saw many posts on different platforms regarding that, and also the online complaint by applicants in January made a big impact in the releasing of list in February, we pray this too will make impact and we are looking forward to receiving good news in this month, It has not been easy getting to this stage and we hope to all make the Final list by God's grace

This time 2020, and years before, I was glued to this thread and a silent reader for that matter.

The NCS has been the only Federal Government job I applied to that I was shortlisted for. I was asked to go and write my apptitude test in Abeokuta my state of Origin Capital.

On getting to this unfortunate centre on Abiola road, the director in charge of my centre was bent on seeing applicants' valid ID they used during the job registration. I actually used my Voter's card as the only means of ID card I had then but have lost the physical Voters card. Despite other Officer at the entrance countenance that they felt I should at least enter the hall to write the exam since my name was on their Master's list, the director didn't agree.

I was very devastated and waited and waited maybe the director will have compassion on us( we were about 5 with that issue). This was how applicants of later time table met us there and even wrote their own exam and left. I resigned to fate and took the next available bus to Lagos. I had wasted time and efforts after all. I couldn't even tell my people at home they didn't allow me to write the exam.

I was still reading this thread afterwards and was kinda optimistic I could get called for interview or something. I don't know how that would ever happen ooo... Meanwhile, Al I needed was a job of that mangnitude that could sort my mess up.

I started business somehow in that same 2020 out of frustration and today give glory to God that I've seen his goodness in less than two years in business ad would never want the NCS job .

I just thought of sharing this. If you think of trying a new thing, please do and leave this their rubbish recruitment process that takes forever. You never can say what that new venture could do in your life.

To that disciplinarian that didn't allow me to write the exam that day, I hope God will have mercy on your children too and have mercy on you too....

Honestly i felt sorry for you not to write date exams but God has opened another door for may it be d best for you Amen! But as for us we hv attented dat exams and our names were published for screening, after screening we are waiting for final list, my brother where we are going is more closer than where we hv come from, dis recruitment is not rubish and it will definitely come to an end soon, life will go on even without NCS but since we took dat risk for screening why should we quit at dis stage? The probability of everyone that was screened and documented will make the final list is very high, we should all calm down there is nothing to despair customs has listed the previous list base on local government in which so many applicants absented the final screening, the board decided to extend one day for the absentees which I was also among, each state list was sent through there media forum and groups to contact them, not up to 300 hundred applicants turnout instead of 2100. No any government agency in Nigeria will give you second chance after screening is officially over unless they mean to employ you, lastly we should all calm down our list is impenetrable the God that brought us this far is still in control will make us successful. Customs will not derail from their credibility. Congratulations to the potential customs officers.

This reason was what made the ongoing rumour of another supplimentary list

1051 are the total number of applicants screened in Gwagwalada, you know they added extra 1 week for latecomers, my freind was among those latecomers he said his tag was 1043, the whole process is slow for sure

The CGC denied the politicians slots that is why he came up with supplimentary list, if it is another agency slots will surely be given to them without any supplimentary, We just hope he should release the final list even if we r nt upto the numbers required, if not they will continue losing candidates to other agencies, Everyone that attend the final screening will be making the final list by God's grace

They can fix everything within this month if they wish because as Federal govt agency they have all the resources to that, this should not be a problem to them if they really want the training to commence this year

Honestly speaking i also heard that list will be out on Monday

Immigration appoinment letter was printed immediately after the final list according to the date on the APL, i dont think NCS will print their APL befor final list as they usually give some weeks to prepare for documentation after releasing the final list, we need more info about that too

Nigeria Customs service board (NCSB) not (NCS) and it was written as "finished" instead of "conclusion", the list shouldn't have to undergo any checks or balances since it has already been approved, someone just compose this anyway we hope the list will be out in few days in our favour
