Ndipe: I read his other novel, "The Victims", very interesting book.

The Victims was his first book, no? Will look for it too. African writers really rock, i must confess

I really enjoyed this book because of the writing style(characters were in the first person). Sorta made it less of a fiction for me. Plot didnt seem embellished; it was quite realistic and made the characters seem like it could be you and I.

I read it with a constant reminder of typical human weakness, succumbing to our everyday challenges inspite of our best plans and efforts(cue Aku) and so much more. Bottomline's I enjoyed the book, a whole lot. African literature enthusiasts should definately try it.
P.S its not a recent book

Family / Re: At What Point, After Losing A Loved One In Death, Do You Delete Their Number? by farydah: 8:10pm On Nov 19, 2012
An emotional thread indeed.....lost my dad in 2OO7 but his number is still etched in my mmry. Resaved it in my phone months ago even though the line has been reallocated. I still have my good friend and an uncle's contacts. Both died this year and i dont think I'd ever delete their BBM/phone numbers. Its comforting, in a weird way, seeing their contacts.
