My name is David. I'm a 24 year old young man. I'm in my final year in one of the universities in the south west.
I'm addicted to gambling. Like, I can't just help it.

The craze for this thing started sometime last year. It has eaten deep into me that it now dictates my mood. The only time I can be genuinely happy is when I win money from bet9ja virtual. If I should loose, it makes me very sad to the extent that I see myself as a useless person.

I've gone to the extent of using my school fees to play virtual and that of my course mate that trusted me so much. Though, I was able to pay my course mate's fees without her knowing the truth, I'm unable to pay mine till now. I always have this mentality that I will win.

Whenever money enters my hand like this, no matter how little, it is to head straight to Bet9ja shop or online. The urge is usually very strong. Sometimes, it seems like there's a force pushing me to do it.
Before this lock down, I accumulated a debt of over a hundred thousand naira in a Bet9ja shop in my school environment which I'm unable to pay till now.
I know the owner of the shop would be waiting to pick me up with police when I resume. I don't know what to do.

I need help badly. I've prayed to God severally but it's as if nothing is happening. I've even promised God not to play Bet9ja again but I keep on seeing myself still playing it.

Right now as I'm typing this, I just came from a Bet9ja shop where I lost money. Money that is not even my own. Sometimes, I feel like taking my life so that everything will just end but if I remember the pain it would cause my mother, I'll just hold back.

Please for the people that were once addicted to gambling, how did you stop it? Is there any remedy for it because I'm in need of it badly?

I can't sleep at night anymore because I'm always thinking of debts that I've accumulated which has run into over 300,000. All thanks to Bet9ja virtual.

Someone advised me to get a job that would keep me busy so that I won't have time to play virtual but there are no jobs. I don't mind doing any, even if it is a menial job till school resumes.

Please I need your advice. Feel free to bash me because I deserve more than that even.

I understand you bro perfectly.. One solid way out is to stop watching football for now and be without money in your acct for a while, allow someone close to you to check your spending.

The second is to Fast and Pray against the spirit of gambling. It will go.. I lost more than you times three and gotten over it. You only need a pastor for deliverance if u know you not spiritually sound as in lazy to pray and feed your soul with the word of God.

God will see you through in Jesus Name.

Help! My Sister Is Seeing Her Period The Second Time This Month

Please Doctors in the house, my younger sister is seeing her period for the second time just this May.

She confided in me so I promised to ask questions.

She's 21 years of age.

She saw her period on the 4th of this May and today being 20th, she's seeing it again.

Although before she saw her first period, she was recovering from Malaria and that means she was on drugs.

Please this is a serious issue and it's giving me concern.

She has been staying with me in my house since the lockdown started and I can verge for her.

It is better to investigate why the video was recorded. He prayed from the mountain to his followers on Emmanuel TV on sunday which is a normal practice he does every sunday. This sunday was different because he was still on the mountain as at sunday morning. No video was shot for the last three days he was there. People sha want to talk. Media will twist things to the way people love to hear it.

I liked your comment. It's all about knowing God yourself and read your Bible. Pastors are there for guidance because the Bible said in the body of Christ some are given gift of prophecy, teaching and so on.
I never went to any church last year. Just watch Christian channels on my dstv and bless the needy, widow and strangers. O boy con see how God bless me. I always thank him for what has done and what he is doing. Just know God and live the life he wants us to live.. That is what Christianity is all about not religion.

Stop this ignorance of the Bible. Jesus was among a lot of people that needs his healing even with those close to him. It was only the woman with the issue of blood that uses her faith to touch his garment and got healed. Many touched his garment and nothing happened. Calling the ministry another name is just unfortunate. Jesus told us to not Judge. With my faith watching his TV channel I got my healing.
Don't be deceived guys. Investigate thoroughly before concluding.

I dont understand what @healthserve is talking about. Dont be decieved by dem say ... God's blessings last forever. I have been to the church and God visited me.. His teachings helped me realign my relationship with God and i am better for it right now. TB Joshua that you are deceiving people about has been in ministry since 1989 and God has demonstrated a lot of his possibilities in that ministry and i am a living witness. The bible says by their fruit we shall know them. His lifestyle is worth emulating.. Father of 3 proud daughters. Please stop this hate speech against someone. God is still God
