You speak well. Its is obvious the government doesn't take education as a priority |
I respond with a loud Amen as well. |
These ones have long elapsed sanity so its not shocking |
The rate at which lagosians detest the use of the bridge is alarming. Some wait up to 10mins for the road to become clear rather than use the bridge. For me it is a welcome development just that these soldiers sef too dey show themselves everywhere they are. |
Awon wherey ![]() |
Hmmm ![]() |
I am also dismayed at the rate at which defilement and molestation cases keep increasing in our society. What sort of a thing is this And the man has two wives ooo |
Deep ![]() Nice one though |
wherey ![]() |
^^^ and is this the place for that ![]() Anyways back to the topic. There is more than meets the eye in this curren strike. Remember there are 3 sides this strike. The FG story, the ASUU story & the real story |
Yea.. It has just been reported on the news. May he RIP! |
I won't come here to blame you or the girl. I just hope you will learn from this and don't fall into such traps subsequently. Glad to know you have left her & please hope you won't go back on this if she comes pleading with a 'convincing' story cos with the way you said it was her aunt that picked the call & pretended it was her, gives the impression that you are giving her the benefit of doubt. Please experience isn't the best teacer but evaluated experience! |
Crazy people. They shouldn't have suspended it nah! We would have seen who will loose |
Horrible! So one needs tight security on his wedding day again God help us all o! |
tsleazy: from what i heard, fed universities are better respected than private skuls...I wonder where he got his own information from. |
AdekunleBalogun: Even though am not a lecturer and not a student either but my junior ones are also at home because of the strike. But am sorry how Nigerians have been cornered by this government and how people can believe anything that comes out of this government still beat my imagination, ASUU has been on strike for than four months now base on agreement reached more than four years ago, our house of reps and senator have increase their own salaries without any iota of conscience for the Nigerian people. Come to think of it who contribute to the development our society btw the lecturers and senators and people in government, is this not the same government dat cannot even provide good roads, electricity, water supply and other basic amenities and some people are still gullible enough to listen and believe this same government. To even think about it, a lecturer dat cannot fight for what they believe is right has no business in the classroom, go to other part of the world young people are the agent of change bt in Nigeria the reverse is the case. Lemme ask this question.... Have you ever seen a country with bad government with good educational system? We all want ASUU to be considerate abi... Can you produce a good product out of a bad system?... Nigeria is a bad system expecting ASUU and the educational system to be good is like expecting satan to stop evil. Its the responsibility of government to clean up the mess in the educational sector, not to allow people who have no business in our schools and to create the enabling environment for our young ones to thrive and compete favourably wit their other counterpart from all over the world.Sir, you have spoken well but the way this country is, majority of us do not look up to the government to make life better for us. A lot of people have passed through this university system and they are doing well for themselves. Why not give the numerous undergraduates the same opprtunity to liberate themselves from this cycle. After all, rome wasn't built in one day so why is ASUU putting young vibrant youth in such a situation when we all know that na to go school sure pass for naija ![]() |
Atyem: Hmmm! Many blame ASUU, some students don't care, they just want to go back to school and graduate soon. We like to postpone evil days in this country. Ask the thousands of unemployed graduates that have spent years searching for job just because they are not employable as a result of the learning condition in our universities. can't we just make sacrifices and get it right once and for all? What has the university got to do with unemployment, when did the state of university become a criteria for getting a job If you diddn't do well in school, look into the mirror and blame the man behind it and not the state of the universities |
The police have no right to stop a peaceful protest be it fron ASUU or any other union. That being said, ASUU members should focus all their energies into the classroom and put the real interest of the Nigerian students' at heart instead of going on meaningless sensitization rallies cos no matter what they say, I would NEVER EVER make any sense out of it. Call off the prolonged strike and I wil listen to what you have to say and know that you care about the students and the sector. |
Na wa ooo! Anyways the news was too good to be true in the first place |
This molestation stuff is a national epidermic now ooooo |
should they be protesting or teaching ![]() i have lost all form of regard for these bunch of lazy and greedy folks |
Well said |
OP can i ask if you just moved into nigeria ![]() This is a sad trend in our country and the PSN you are wondering if they are not aware is also guilty of this and it is not restricted to just the pharmaceutical industry but ALL sectors of our economy, even down to the common fruit seller on the street. We need reorientation in this country and i doubt that may even do much cos corruption has eaten deep into our fabrics. no more regards for ethics and morals. it is indeed sad and i pray it ends one day. |
Na wa oo.. what happen!!!!!! Why is this becoming a trend ![]() |
