Not at all. I was in a thanksgiving service I was invited to in a certain old generation church when the pastor made such a ridiculous alter call. Even his kids didn't come out cos he was busy ranting curses on those that will come out & aren't virgins.

The church as I heard has not been the same again since then. That single act caused disunity & family problems

I anticipated a good read that's why I opened this thread. I had no intention to comment but the comments I am seeing has forced me to say this

Sm years back I had this frnd who was 17 & I was only few years older than her. While waiting for admission into uni, we were both idle & she would come spend the whole day with me as I was always home alone for most of the day. I enjoyed her company & all but she always gave me green light. She even brought blue film to my place once to shw hw serious she ws bt I ddn't give in to her.

No doubt she moved away from me when she realised wudn't do the needful. She gained admission into uniben, 'stepped up', even dated a popular musician, was in his video shoot, moved with the happening guys, had 2 cars & started forming for me. My friends mocked me that if I had banged her then she won't be forming for me & them but I didn't feel bad about that.

To cut long story short.. She called me early this year to thank & appreciate me for not taking advantage of her. She keeps in touch with me & always tells me how she respects me. She now works & has seen it all. She regrets the life she lived wishes she could turn back the hands of time

engrfcuksmtin: Although I am a crusader of forceful opening of the institutions but listening to Doyin Okupke and Faggee this morning made me to have a rethink. There is no need for the government to forcefully open the universities if they are sincere with the resolution reached at meeting with the president. The four demands by ASUU are within the memorandum written by the government to ASUU. I am privilege to see both documents. Government is meant for the welfare of the people and should be ready to go to extra length to cater for this therefore they should do THE NEEDFUL release the fund for 2013, sign the non-victimization clause (especially with the reason behind not signing to be that non-victimization is a non issue)

I had a serious rethink as well. Govt is not being sincere in this issue at all.

It is the govt that is adding political undertone to ASUU strike

I make sense out of what faggie is saying & I don't really blame them cos the govt has proven times without number that it doesn't honour agreements.
