Politics › Re: Patience - Amaechi And His Wife Refused To Pay Me Condolence Visit by fasho01(m): 7:48pm On Aug 20, 2013
Speaking recently with a group of pastors who paid her a visit, Mrs. Jonathan stated that Governor Amaechi was stubborn, but added that he was a son to her. She denied wishing the governor political or physical harm, adding that prayers were needed to resolve the crisis in the state.

Teacher - what is Exaggeraration? Student - Exaggeration is when Dame Patience Jonathan call Gov. Amaechi her son!! She is 52 and Amaechi is 45. Did she marry Yerima @ 7 ? :/ huh

HNosegbe: In all of the talk about this issue, I haven't heard one important factor: Cost.

What is the COST of all these jamborees to the country?

How much was spent on the programme, on paying those dancers, on refreshments, on attires, on decorations etc?

What is the opportunity cost? Couldn't the time spent on this pointless programme have been better spent elsewhere? What about the soldiers providing "security", couldn't they have been better put to use fighting the BH insurgents in the north?

Above all, what was the cost to the ordinary Abuja residents? What about those who were late to work? Those who missed their flights? Pregnant women being rushed to hospital? People who had important business appointments?

Has anyone tried to contemplate the COST of all these unnecessary traffic jams induced by this megalomaniac called a "First Lady"?

Do we think at all in this country?
God bless you.

Education › Re: ASUU Demanded For N87B & Not N92B As Reported By Okonjo-Iweala by fasho01(m): 2:58pm On Aug 15, 2013
Its sad that the lecturers are only concerned about themselves and using poor infrastructure as an excuse to seek their selfish needs. They earn salaries & are here putting the nation's youth to ransom all for their allowances.

Greedy folks!!! sad

Not that I exonerate FG from all this. A single office holder embezzles hundreds of billions & yet they claim no money.

Please the lecturers should go back to work and keep negotiating with ASUU about their allowances#PERIOD

21. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.

22. Don't expect loyalty/commitment from your man when you aren't loyal yourself.

My point of view exactly. We get too sentimental when it comes to religion but the truth must be said.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Travel › Re: Stay And Develop Your Country- Briton To Nigerian Youths by fasho01(m): 4:38pm On Aug 12, 2013
As though the development of the country lies in the hands of the youths. It would have been easier if the youths had a role to play but sadly, if you are not connected to someone who is connected, you are a mere spectator. Same old people and their relatives get recycled always and control the affairs of this country and yet you ask the youth to develop it, HOWhuh By frustration caused by lack of job and meaningful opportunities? By the student that is in school for 7years due to incessant strikes or by those who have written jamb 10 times without admission cause he knows no one?? Yes your advice is a good one, but not for a commoner in Nigeria. What am I even going to do in the UK anyways?

I used to see stuffs like this in the movies but right now, my life is one hell of a movie. I have been dating this girl for over 2years now & I have not been very happy with her. She is hard headed, arrogant & very hot tempered. I just don't know but I am really into her. Now why the confusion huh I came across this other girl that is the exact opposite of her - communicates, is gentle, cool headed, humble & loving. After a while with this other girl, I can now see what I have been missing out on in a relationship, PEACE. I now have strong feelings for this other girl and thus the confusion. I can't date both of them & have to choose one. I need help guys!!!
