Buckeyemedia1: Ok they should stop parading suspected Herdsmen & Boko Haram members? Same hypocrites will shout tomorrow that President Buhari is trying to hide their identity? Nigerian lawyers are corrupt rodents, no different from their so called political class of bandits. Evans the Billion Kidnapper even took the Federal Government to an Appeals Court, I guess it was a medical doctor that was handling the case for him? NBA association of corrupt criminals & thieves. You are not with us,I beg shift commot for road! |
Politics › Re: Lagos Bans Media Parading Of Suspects by faste: 3:36pm On Aug 22, 2021 |
RedEnergy: Very good law. We also need a law that compulsorily mandates police to notify or allow a detained suspect to notify their families on phone call within 1 hour after arrest. It should be illegal for police to detain any suspect without nobody knowing the person is in police custody, otherwise that is equivalent to kidnapping. Anybody detained by police must be allowed to talk to their families or relatives to inform them of their whereabouts that they are in police custody and which station they are being detained. Any violation of this law should attract immediate dismissal and imprisonment for the police violators involved. Why is there no political will by the FG to reform its police; why? Because the police is a tool for elite oppression . |

However on this grazing reserves thing, I see a lot of ignorant comments here
You all know the southern lands have more greens
The north doesn’t have as much greens
So cow herders will end up in the south whether we like it or not
What do you advice ? We continue having murders and clashes between farmers and herders ?
The president is only taking this decision to end the conflicts Terrorist sympathizers! |

Beancounter94: 1.Well we don't pay 46-51% tax. More like 0-24%..plus if you earn below a certain income you pay nothing.
2.It may be a good idea...may make most people start paying attention to our government , and them politicans. May also reduce our dependence on borrowing.
Plus there are only so many people that can be killed.
Besides, developed countries got developed because people were ready, sometimes at the cost of their lives, to work for better governance. All these cannot happen in Nigeria because patriotism is dead if it. ever existed, the solution is breaking up the country so that the. nation can start. nation building afresh . |

If you can't trust your leaders with all the free trillions from oil, how can you trust them with money from tax? A country without a functional law shouldn't ask for tax.
If you squander the school fees your dad gave you on women, there is a high chance you'll spend the ones your mom added as extra you on drinks. You still get time for the mumu. Why is buhari still operating 7 jet?Yet he wants every Nigerian to tax! |

InvertedHammer: / From available evidence, Kyari was aware of the scam. He assisted Hushpuppi by detaining Chibuzo to ensure he didn't continue as a whistleblower to the victim. Chibuzo was released after the deal sailed through on Hushpuppi's end and Kyari and his team were adequately compensated through a third-party bank account to avoid detection.
They have a comprehensive list of the transactions (debit and credit) in Hushpuppi's bank account. Most importantly, they have Hushpuppi as a Federal witness. He is snitching on all his partners in crime. Kyari should know that denial is expected even when all evidence point to the facts. There are voicemails, emails, text messages, call records, WhatsApp messages, etc to nail him. From the experience earned in many years of investigations and prosecutions, the FBI know that scams of this magnitude usually have high-ranking security or military officials providing cover for the criminals in third world countries.
