angelfallz: I believe a military take over is the best. I've been saying we need to restructure, but it's obvious the politicians aren't interested in it. The military can takeover, and begin the process of restructuring. Whether we restructure into 6 States or regions or geopolitical zones is irrelevant. The fact is our current system of government can't take us to the promised land.
By restructuring, we remove power from the FG, and place it in the hands of the federating units(6 States, geopolitical zones or regions)
It's the best form of government that would suit our heterogeneous nature. The igbos would rule themselves, the Yorubas would rule themselves the Hausas the same thing, the ibibios the same thing, Ebira the same thing etc. And you think the military will restructure the country? You forgot that the military destroyed regional goverment because of break up threat of biafra. |

Eriokanmi: I watched this man speak on channels tv last night. Nigeria is so blessed with best brains . I was just wondering why people like Clark weren't appointed into government cabinets. This is the only panacea to our myriads of problems, provided buhari won't introduce nepotism into the appointment of military chiefs who would take over the affairs of every state. Kęę pė baba. Kudos! You think the miliary does not like power too?You have forgotten it took so much international presure before they were pushed out. |

Its been more than 75 years since the second world war and Europe and Japan have learnt their lessons. But just a little glimpse on what happened in Rwanda 1994 and Africans dont want to learn. Keep spreading hate. If fulani does not want to learn,we will teach them a lesson. |

butterfly777: Why are you so tribalistic, or are you one of the Fulani agents?
Anybody who has been on nairaland for a while should have discovered that many of those monicas pretending to be Yoruba vs Igbo are impostors. Except you are actually one of them as I suspect.
An average Yoruba is in support of the Igbo. I believe an average Igbo who has lived in the Southwest before will also support the Yorubas, knowing that we are both friendly and compatible tribes, more so in these times when we need to form alliance and not allow the kind of division this person is promoting.
Those trying to sow the seed of discord should try harder, because they have failed this time. We already know their tricks |

budaatum: I don't think what you do with your girlfriend has anything to do with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but disturbing the peace is a crime, which is likely why the people were arrested. They can go sue for false arrest since false arrest is at least unconstitutional and illegal in Nigeria. Nigeria is a signatory to UN Charter on human rights including the right to self determination. |

Myer: It's called tactical advantage. From Abuja he's getting intel on his assailants, the IPOB and ESN miscreants.
He knew that there would be reprisal attack for slaughtering the IPOB commander Ikonson. The interesting thing about a leader is just as Kanu is abroad instructing his foot soldiers to kill policemen and security aides in the East, the govt likewise from Abuja is giving instructions in the best interest of his state from Abuja.
Obviously there's no reasoning with Kanu cos when you have a man blinded by the blind idea of Biafra who also has the support of angry and frustrated Igbo youths, y
But the advantage the governor has is a higher fire power and Intel.
If there's the need to drop more of IPOB/ESN henchmen, he will definitely see it fit to protect his peaceful citizens.
Cos clearly not all igbos support Kanu. When bandits and Boko are done with Niger they are coming down to Abuja..So no lele! You run from frying pan you land on fire! |

Wiseoldman: I get confused, IPOB people will say DSS is running from Unknown Gunmen. Same IPOB will say DSS is unknown gunmen.
There is too much confusion in this IPOB, what is the strategy. Let your foot soldiers know. Some of them don't know ESN/IPOB are the unknown gunmen. Unkmown gun men are not ipob, the citizens are hailing the killing of security agents as a result of years of terrible human right violation by the army/police....the fulani goverment of buhari is behind the killing to give a dog a bad name in order to hang it. |
