SultanOfAbia: Which 9 million... Most spent 18 to 20m to meet this deadline that passed How much for first installments before CAS? Most schools ask students to pay 7500 from Nigeria and only few went below 5000 pounds now convert it to naira @ 1400 pounds at September. Put visa fee and health 1450 dollars. Flight ticket House rent money Pocket money at least you should hold 3k for hand when u land to rent house and other things. Our leaders messed up the country. No jobs, nothing, unemployment business going down. People sold all they have. From cars, land, building, personal belongings to meet up and I pray God help them settled on time and be successful anywhere they find themselves 13 Likes 2 Shares |

tensazangetsu20:How will you pay your fees without your dependent which is what most people rely on. The dependant stuff is a big blow. Universities are now recordeding more than 60% drop In CAS issuance for January intake. What about easy way of granting one resident permit? What we think is the actual cost (accounting) not the forgone alternative cost (economic COST) and this has landed a lot into mess here. most embraced schools that offer them cheaper first instalments but stricter terms and expensive school fees to more higher first instalments but cheaper overall fees. But the reality is hitting so many as schools are now blocking student access to portals and threatening to withdraw CAS 1 Like |

Coming to the UK is no longer attractive. It's better one channel such energy to Canada, any European country like Germany, France, etc or Australia /Austria. First this schools in UK have almost all increased their school fees 100%. Only few are left. Secondly the exchange rate is on the high side Thirdly, the Nigerian government are no longer funding form A which makes it cheaper for student. Thirdly, most schools here are increasingly mounting pressure on foreign students to meet up with their payment as soon as possible. Fourth, the job market are beginning to get saturated.. Unlike before. It takes over 3 to 4 months to land a job. The biggest blow is the inability to come with your spouse.. Meaning you got to work and cough those thousands of pounds alone..plus increasing house rent. So the best way to go is looking for more friendly countries that will guarantee you stay after school not the one that changes policies like rice and beans As it is now, one can wake up with news that there is More post graduate extension 1 Like |

justwise: And I said is it possible to do DBS in Nigeria? Certainly not possible... But it is required for care work. Once he land in the UK, he will do DBS instantly using his police report. I hardly see jobs ask you for less than 5 years experience.. Back to the authenticity of the job. I can't say it is genuine or fake because I have not yet seen their address and website name. My advice is for him to give his experience.. 10 years back to his highest education attained. Or he leaves the process after all it's just 400 pounds. I have seen someone came here through COS paid over 20 million naira but got here no job, nothing and the company licence revoke |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Japa: Background Check Requirements by fastseo: 2:46am On Dec 30, 2023 |
justwise: Are you in the UK and if you are and still don't know this then you have lost touch with reality? I said jobs ask of work experience minimum of 5 years experience and this most times include your school periods. They want to know what you have been doing since you left school. Every of this details matter to them. I ended up saying most organisations are sensitive.. You can't work with them without enhanced DBS. Can you get DBS from Nigeria? I don't know why you can't reason properly. Listed again...most care homes ask for transferable DBS before you work with them. They want to see you have no criminal record ever so you don't end up abusing those vulnerable people. If you have abuse children or engage in crime before you won't be allowed near vulnerable people So if you come from Nigeria get your police report, they will help you apply for DBS. I recently got a licence to work in certain sector here and here are the chats I have with two different recruiters. All I am telling the opp to do. Is to add his relevant work experience and include his school period..justbensure it covers the 10 years period of his life. That's ends it. He will be alright.

justwise: Please provide it. No gap. This include your school till what you do from then till today. All jobs I have applied ask for minimum of 5 years. This include my school. And mind you, this is care.. They are very careful in this sector. Most care homes accept only enhanced DBS. |

Do you know what is called insecurity vs security? Like can you just wake up in the night and walk randomly without fear of being attacked? Can you just travel on a lonely part without fear of harm? Can you travel 10 hours at night to south or north Nigeria without fear of militant or armed men? All this are possible in white man's land. You can't hear that they killed anyone. If it happens it's an emergency. And police will be out once. Infact since am hear I have not seen or heard about insecurity. 2 Likes |

So that your website can be available worldwide. Like for instance I am in the UK and I am accessing the site here.. Try that your method and see if it can be accessed here. |

TruthsFM: Nothing like human error rather it was voilation of policy. Something like ethic insults. Etc Nairaland is not capable running a sever to serve the whole world. Like now have a sever in Europe, America, Asia, Russia, Africa, middle east.. Keep staffs there to manage it Expensis runs into thousands of dollars if not millions of dollars and this are variable cost. Even though he has his own server. What about the domain which is COM. It belongs to the domain provider. So they can seize it. So abide by rules, at present no difference between ipob radio station and nairaland. You see insult of ethnic groups everywhere 2 Likes |
