Trump has no chance. His fellow Republicans know this and they are already panicking.
Only the dumb ones believe Trump has a chance.
How can you win U.S presidency when democrats are 4% higher than Republicans? How can Trump win the presidency when polls show 79% of Hispanic, 87% of blacks, and 86% of Asian Americans says they are never going to vote for you? Only 56% of whites say they are voting for Trump. For Trump to win the presidency, he needs 87% of white vote to offset the votes of minority groups who say they are definitely voting for Hillary. How can Trump win the presidency when polls after polls show that only 42% of women are supporting him?
Trump has no chance. |

msogunro: I'm confident in the skills of the carpenters in Nigeria. During my last vacation I was in Ikorodu and I saw many very nice, contemporary furniture on display. My uncle said the carpenters are competent, but you need to make sure you pick a strong type of wood. I can't remember the name of the wood he told me. I plan to build all my furniture in Nigeria.
On a different topic, would you happen to know where one can get a very cheap, good conditiin insulated shipping container in Nigeria? 10 or 20 ft. I don't really know. |

kolaa007: When buying or having a home built, it is important to take windows into consideration. Windows provide our homes with light, warmth, and ventilation, but they can also negatively impact a home’s energy efficiency.Good windows will bring out the beauty of your home and likewise a bad window will make your house very ugly.People taking pride in the appearance of their home goes back as long as we can remember. In many ways, our home becomes an extension of who we are. Doors and, in particular, your Windows, are the first thing family and friends see when they pay you a visit and that first impression is incredibly hard to shift.
Why you should Choose PVC Windows
1. PVC windows are the Number One in energy efficiency The frame of a window plays a decisive role in promoting energy and cost-efficient thermal insulation. Window profiles made of PVC score top marks when compared with aluminium or wooden windows. They have better insulation values and are able to reduce energy and heating costs. There is a particularly high energy saving potential when using PVC window frames in the passive house standard. Today, passive house windows can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively using state-of-the-art PVC profiles and the now quite common triple glazing.
2. PVC windows have a very good cost-benefit ratio PVC windows offer clear-cut cost advantages, both in procurement and throughout the entire life cycle. Timber frames are approximately 20-30 % more expensive than PVC profiles, and aluminium windows cost 30 % more again representing the most expensive alternative. Based on the high energy-saving potential and minimal maintenance throughout the entire service life of more than 50 years, costs are also saved in the long-term.
3. PVC windows are easy to care for High quality PVC windows are extremely easy to care for and require minimal maintenance. Wooden windows, on the other hand, have to be glazed just about every two years and painted every 5 years. State-of-the-art PVC granule is extremely resistant to weather conditions and light-fast. To clean the window frames all you need is dishwashing liquid due to the easy-care properties of the smooth profile surfaces. You will find more information on the care of PVC windows on our Info Page Tips on caring for PVC windows.
4. PVC windows are remarkably durable As opposed to windows made of wood PVC windows have a particularly long service life. High quality windows stand out with their distortion resistance and high level of functionality for years and years. Based on their long service live of at least 50 years PVC windows are an excellent investment, also with regard to maintaining a property’s value.
5. PVC windows boast an excellent eco balance PVC windows are 100 % recyclable and therefore resource-saving. 40 % of all gas and oil reserves in the world are used for heating and for supplying energy to buildings, whereas just 4 % go into the production of plastics of which just 1 % are used for PVC. Besides being recyclable, the durability and low levels of pollution during the production of PVC profiles help produce an excellent eco-balance and contribute towards protection of the environment. PVC windows last much longer than wooden windows and consume substantially less energy during the manufacturing process.

agarawu23: I just pray Nigeria and africa will be crime free soon so that we won't care much about security in our houses. A family of 7 just got burnt while trapped in their house due to no exit. All you need in your house abroad is just a sliding glass but here in nja, we buy the most strongest burglaries to keep us safe from criminals.
From the picture attached, you will notice the fire was from the kitchen. an emergency exit door would have saved them. Don't blame burglary proof we use on our windows and doorways. Some of our people are just plainly stupid. Look at the gas cylinders in the picture you posted and tell me who in their right mind have gas cylinders in their kitchen. Gas cylinders are meant to be outdoor and not be stored in the kitchen. I'm not a fan of burglary proof though. |

Baba Egunmogaji and Brabus, please, let peace rein here. Baba Egunmogaji, I thought Brabus has always had your back on this forum - vice versa. You have always defended Brabus on this forum even when you knew he did wrong. So what happened now? You should have been the adult in the room when Brabus erred instead of resorting to this mud fight. Brabus is not even grown enough to be your brother's mate. He should be more like a son or close to it.
And you Brabus, this back and forth with every tom-dick-harry is not good for your soul. Learn to be humble. Stop letting things be about "me-me-me" at all time. Always be the first to run from a fight. It doesn't make you a coward. It makes you an adult in the room.
Mr. Agarawu, what is your gain in this? Respect yourself, sir. This is not the way to act. I'm being candid with you.

allCopacetic: And the holes cannot be filled without having my 3,000 brushed aluminium sockets in place? If You're talking about advantages and better ways...i don't see that as one, it only exposes the accessories to paint, concrete and possible scratches. In fact the holes are better filled before installation of the acessories so that the filling is complete, and gets to the very edge of the knockout boxes. Remember the dimensions of the accessories are larger than that of the knockout boxes so it extends by atleast 5mm beyond the knockouts on all four sides. Also, what happens when you fill the holes using one socket as a stencil and then you upgrade to something with a smaller foot print?
About the toilet seat, i don't see why your plumber needs to break tiles to do that, pictures like the attached are all over nairaland, you can clearly see the installations were done post tiling. Also, imagine if i had to upgrade from one of the attached toilet seats to the other, how easy do you figure that would be, given your proposed method. And the reservoir .... Why install only to remove and then install again. I don't see the above mentioned approaches as being ideal or better. You're doing a good job Regardless. God's strength I tire for the guy o! He's only being stubborn to accept his logic isn't the right way to do this. It is a simple logic to do these things after painting but he's too stubborn to admit it. I saw other things too that should have been done in other way but I just chose to be quiet. |

msogunro: Is it possible to get a block wall this neat in Nigeria?
My floor plan is complete and we're now working on interior and exterior details. In some interior and exterior areas of the house I would like to leave the blocks exposed so that they can be painted.
Any reasons why there shouldn't be exposed block walls in Nigeria?
Pic 1: Exposed block wall
Pic 2: Painted block wall.
Pic 3. Painted block wall.
I want to treat some areas in and outside my house like pic 2 & 3. I suspect this will also save some funds because plastering i's eliminated from certain areas. I like the idea too and I was going to do the same but the way they set blocks in Nigeria is different from how they do it in Nigeria. If you paint the walls without plastering in Nigeria, you are in for a shock. Those blocks in the picture are different from the ones available in Nigeria. |

msogunro: Naija homes use columns in the corners, but I've seen many homes outside of Naija without columns. The images I've attached appear to use just stacked blocks in the corners.
Is there a reason why all Naija homes use columns? I have said it here many times. These young engineers we have in Nigeria overload and overbuild homes in Nigeria. They load buildings with so much columns, chained lintels and iron that are waste and unnecessary. I see it here everyday. |
